Kip Ims purchased this Barn in 2007
Why Kip Ims chose Maresfield
Priors barn came on the market as an open fronted pig barn with planning for holiday accommodation. We've spent 2 years (an a small fortune) turning it into one of the most beautiful holiday homes in the South East of England equipped to the very highest standards. Situated opposite a small fishing lake with a stream running under the raised deck to the rear and on the edge of the Ashdown Forest but within a 3 minute walk to the local Restaurant/Pub. What more could you want.
What makes this Barn unique
Elegant and stylish furnishings. High quality kitchen appliances and a well equipped kitchen for the would be chef. High end Sky TV and Music systems including loads of DVD's and an iPod with loads of music on it, a Smart TV that connect to the internet and includes BBC iPlayer, Utube, facebook etc and a high speed wireless internet connection plus loads more. There's also TV's in the Bedroom and Bathroom. The Barn is close to the village but in a tiny hamlet for a peaceful get away from it all break and only a 5 minute walk the local Pub/Restaurant, The Checkers. Don't forget the Party Deck to the rear with lighting and a portable stereo too.

Peace and wellbeing
A week of peace and wellbeing, if one needs re charging just take one week at this property, all we asked for was supplied, a lovey house set in a peace full and tranquil setting, Thank you Adrian & Lily Brown
We loved it !
We stayed at Priors Barn for two months whilst having extensive improvements done to our house, and loved every minute of our stay. We were accompanied by our two dogs and two cats who were equally enchanted. The walks around the surrounding countryside are stunning and the dogs very impressed as were we. Everyone in Maresfield seems so nice and we have made several new friends ! Also, only a couple of minutes' walk to The Chequers, the local 18thC pub/hotel/restaurant
The Barn has been imaginatively and comprehensively renovated, and lacks nothing in facilities or character, complete with a lovely stream running under the rear terrace where you can relax in total peace.
Finally, the owner Kip is a lovely guy and ready to call in to offer any help or advice needed about the house or local amenities.
We cannot recommend this magical place highly enough other than to say we'll probably go back for a little weekend break sometime and re-live our lovely memories of it.
Blown away, far exceeded expectations
So beautifully done, peaceful and quiet, lots of extras. We would love to come again, thanks so much

We stayed for three nights in autumn 2012. The house was lovely. Very well appointed, very private, and also extremely clean. High quality throughout. Would like to have stayed longer!
Thank you for the kind words. We're very pround of the barn and try hard to keep it looking 100%. Hope to see you again.
