Apartment Casa Branco sleeps 4 (+2), is air-conditioned, spacious, superbly furnished + central to nearly 30 Golf Courses (many championship + reputed to be the best in Europe), Marine Zoo, Water Parks, Marina etc. The apartment is situated on the ground floor amongst mature + beautifully maintained grounds in a safe + secure village style complex with 4 swimming pools, (the nearest 1 min + heated in winter), jacuzzis, tennis courts, sandy play area, several snack bars, restaurants + mini supermarket. 2km north of the Charming Old Town and Golden Sandy Beaches the complex is close enough for comfort yet just the right distance for peace and quiet and provides a free courtesy bus into town from the 24 Hour Reception with friendly staff on hand to provide any advice or help you might need to make the most of your stay. A simple 30 minute drive from Faro airport (transfers can be arranged) this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is perfect for families, couples, groups, young and old alike.

Thank you for the lovely apartment, it was very clean + spacious + we loved the bright + decorative touches. The view was very peaceful with the apartment on the edge of the complex but still close enough to the 4 main nearby pools + Casa Azul restuarant which really did serve excellent food. We liked being just outside town for peace + quiet but still close enough to walk into town which was great + where we found some good bars and reatuarants. We can recommend the Old Theatre which had traditional Portuguese music + really excellant food (Fiona + Ben)



We found the apartment modern, clean & spacious. Melanie was very helpful, organising our taxi's & food hamper & pointing us in the right direction with any queries we had. The swimming pools were spotless & unlike many pools the chlorine content was not overdone as to give discomfort to the eyes. Trips are available if u fancy a day out, including Gibralta which we must try next time. (Janet)

Albufeira old town is within approximately 2km with easy access onto Fishermans Beach and adjoining beaches plus many unspoilt little coves and numerous stretches of other beautiful sandy beaches which make the Algarve so desirable. The other access onto the water is via the Marinas with a host of cruises + boat trips to the caves, dolphin watching, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving etc etc.

The apartment is within a simple 30 min drive from Faro airport and private transfers can be arranged, (1-4 people approx 40 euros), (5-6 people approx 50 euros). If wished you can be met at the terminal, taken directly to the apartment, handed the keys and shown around. The complex is ideally sited far enough away from the airport but within easy reach with well priced flights available year round.

The old town is within approximately 2km with quaint cobbled side streets with numerous local shops, daily market stalls selling local handicrafts and jewellery, fine restaurants, bars and cafes and a central square providing street musicians and entertainers. The large Algarve Shopping Complex is an approximate 5 min drive with cinema, bowling alley and a host of designer shops and retail outlets. Faro Airport is approx 40 km. Ferreiras Railway Station is approx 6 km.

Car hire is not essential especially with the courtesy bus into town and everything so readily at hand plus the reception staff are happy to organise transport if and when required or car hire can be organised.

The apartment was newly built in 2006 within an already highly successful, safe + secure complex which has a spacious village feel maintaining traditional Portuguese flavour. The Algarve is beautiful, friendly and the weather remains good nearly all the year through, still around the 15 degree mark in the winter. The complex is ideal being close enough to town and all its amenities but being just on the outskirts is far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

The complex is set amongst beautiful clean and well maintained grounds and is a lovely place to stay or use as a base to then discover the rest of The Algarve or maybe try some Excursions, Local Big Game Fishing, Sailing, Water Sports, Paragliding, Scuba Diving, Boat trips, Horse Riding, Caving, Jeep Safaris, Quad bike treks, Hiking, Cycling, Visiting Museums, Churches, etc etc. Albufeira Camping is located opposite the complex and its facilities are available to Clube Albufeira residents at no extra charge and include a larger pool and supermarket, on-site bakery, newspaper kiosk, craft shop, children's sandy play area, tennis + football courts, restaurant, clubhouse with disco + live entertainment during high season.

Notes:
Air-conditioning is provided to the bedrooms and living areas which also acts as heating during the cooler winter months if required. Highchairs, pushchairs and Z beds available for hire on request. Welcome packs to include tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, bread, butter, ham, eggs, milk, juice, water, etc, etc, available on request. No pets or smoking within the apartment please. The patio/terrace has padded sun loungers, table, chairs and parasol and is surrounded by beautiful mature landscaped gardens and pleasant countryside and is not overlooked. Within the grounds, there are superbly maintained grassed areas to sunbathe, picnic or for children to play. There are 4 main swimming pools with plenty of sunbeds and are situated next to snack bars/restaurants for refreshments. The nearest pool is the 'Cascata', approx 1 minute away which is heated in the cooler months, the 'Casa Azul' pool is approx 2 minutes away, lovely and peaceful and next to the 'a la carte' restaurant, the 'A Pergula' is approx 3-4 minutes away and the 'O Pavilhao' is approx 4-5 minutes. There are shallow children's pool areas, Jacuzzis, tennis courts, mini golf, a children's sandy play area, mini supermarket etc. etc. The separate utility room contains a washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes airer, cleaning equipment, etc etc. Towels and linen provided with weekly maid service. Daily or mid weekly service provided on request or washing machine within the utility room if preferred (guests are asked to bring their own beach towels please). French doors from the lounge + master bedroom lead onto the patio/terrace with sun loungers, table, chairs + parasol overlooking mature and landscaped gardens and pleasant surroundings. A small safe is also situated within the apartment for valuables etc

Great apartment with everything you'll need. Don't book transfers through club albufeira. The taxi droped us off at the reception to check in. Club albufeira refused to take us to the apartment in their courtesy van because we were in a private apartment. It's a long walk up hill with cases and children. Not good! Book private and make sure the taxi waits for you to check in.

Owner's Response: Hi, Annette from our office has just come back from the apartment herself and she booked her transfers through Clube Albufeira, as she usually does. The taxi dropped her off at reception and after she picked up the key the taxi then dropped her off at the apartment, as always, which is included within the price, albeit we usually give a tip. I'm not sure why this didn't happen for your stay and I must add that I have always found the staff at reception to be very helpful and obliging. I hope that helps Ken

Well equipped apartment clean and tidy with Old town Albuferia within walking distance. The owner extremely helpful replying quickly to any queries that we had and the complex had everything to suit all needs fantastic location for families.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
