About Dave Gray
Gina & myself are both living & working in the UK, (Rainhill, Merseyside). We bought the villa about 7 years ago and have enjoyed our holidays there so much and when we have rented to family & friends they have been so pleased we thought we should offer to you. It is our plan to spend some serious time in Kissonerga when we finally retire, but in the meantime we are happy to share our gorgeous villa with you.
Dave Gray purchased this Villa in 2007
Why Dave Gray chose Kissonerga
We looked at numerous villas and villages around Paphos before settling on Kissonerga. It caught our hearts on our first visit. It was and still retains what we think of as a traditional Cypriot village. It has traditional coffee shops, and tavernas, so you know that you are in another country but mixed in are all the amenities that are needed for a super modern holiday. Most of them within walking distance.

AMAZING STAY! TOP CLASS VILLA!
Enjoyed the stay incredibly and am already recommending the Villa to family and friends! Will definitely re-book on our next holiday to Cyprus! In one word: FANTASTIC!
Perfect fit for my family!
This villa was perfect for my family. The location was close to everything but was outside just enough to have your own little oasis. The villa had plenty of space for my wife and I and our two kids ( age 5 and 2).
Comfort and Relaxation
We have just stayed for 2 weeks at villa Geda. It is a beautiful villa , very clean, comfortable and spacious, with a lovely atmosphere, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Everything you are likely to need is provided, and if you do have any problems Dave and the management team quickly come to the rescue and sort things out, thank you Dave, Nicky and Matt.
From when we first booked Dave kept in touch with news and information, making sure that everything was going okay, it was obvious he cared about the comfort of his guests.
Lot's of room outside, with various places to sit either in or out of the sun, comfortable sunbeds, with pool towels provided, the pool is lovely and looks really nice at night .It's very quiet and private, not overlooked at all.
We went into Kissonerga quite often, a lovely village, with a couple of supermarkets, pharmacy, and quite a choice of places to eat if you don't feel like going far. We had hired a car and went mostly to Coral Bay to eat, lots of different places to eat, and it was very handy for shopping at the large Phillipos supermarket on the way home .It's a beautiful area for travelling around, we went to Latchi a couple of times, lovely marina, and the Watermill Restaurant at Steni is very nice.
I would recommend anyone to stay at this villa, Dave is so helpful, the villa was everything we wanted, and it's a beautiful area to explore.
Hi Sandra, thanks for the lovely review. I & the team Nicky & Matt, do try extremely hard to ensure all our guests enjoy themselves at the villa. Holidays are important.
From our intial enquiry through to the moment we left we found everything perfect. The villa is so spacious, in a lovely location, peaceful, quiet & the pool is lush. Dave made the entire experience from booking through to all the information we needed just seamless. We have no hesitation in recommending this villa & we will definitely return! Thank you Dave for making our week away 10 out of 10! :)
Fabulous villa and great area
The villa was xcellent and well kept. Even better than the description. From the moment we walked in to the last moments there we we pleased. The local area had some great restaurants and bars. The nearest bakers was a bit of a hike in the mornings but that fitted in with our daughters lying in while dad strolled off. A couple minor issues arose with the wifi and lights but these were dealt with efficiently by both the owner and the management company. We would recommend this villa to anyone
Thanks Phil, really appreciate your comments & comments about restaurants. Bakery is a bit of a walk, but well worth it, good tasty selection.
Lovely, well equipped and comfortable villa in great location
From the start, when booking, it was easy. David is a fabulous owner and communicator. Nothing was too much for him. He provided so much information and went beyond our expectations. The villa is just lovely. It is spacious and has everything a family or group would require. It really is so well equipped and thought out. Plenty of sun loungers with cushions around the fresh, clean pool. So many towels are provided for outside use as well. The air conditioning is very effective and totally necessary as we had a very hot stay now at the end of June/beginning July.
The local area is super with a 'within walking distance' supermarket that sells just about everything. There is also a pharmacy, bank machine and a good selection of restaurants to choose from. We walked down to the beach and various beach bars and in the immense heat it was always excellent to get back to the pool at the villa for an evening dip.
We all loved our stay - six of us stayed there, but only four at a time, over a two week period and we all agreed that if we holidayed again in Cyprus, we'd stay at Villa Geda without hesitation.
Thanks for being a great host David and all the very best to you.

Hi Nikki, thanks for the super review. I'm sure it will be a great help to other guests.
From my own experience I know it is sometimes a concern to go somewhere new so I just try to make guests feel comfortable that they know where they are going and that they have help available.
You have been lovely guests & hope to see you again in the future.
Special interest holidays:
Paphos, an UNESCO world heritage site, is the ancient capital of Cyprus and former fishing port the often accredited as the birthplace of Aphrodite. The ancient sites and archaeology preserve this noble past and the harbour area builds on this, mixing old and new, to provide a perfect holiday destination in the sun.
Diving: With over 50 dive sites in Cyprus for all year round diving, with the Zenobia wreck being one of the top 10 worldwide dives, The Vera K wreck is just 25 minutes from Paphos harbour laying just 11m below the surface, close to the wreck there is an archway & a series of narrow tunnels suitable for the experienced diver to explore.
The nearest beach (Potima) is around 10 mins walk. Coral Bay is around 10 mins car drive away. Here you will find a choice of blue flag beaches, water sports, cafes, restaurants and the most beautiful sunsets. Paphos harbour & beaches are around 20 mins by car. A drive to the Akamas national park is recommended where there are plenty of unspoilt, deserted beaches on the way. Also there is the amazing untouched beach of Lara Bay (Turtle Beach) where the turtles come to lay their eggs at night.
Nearest airport is Paphos Int. and is about 20 min taxi transfer journey. Larnaca is an hour and three quarters journey by car. Car hire, although not absolutely essential, is highly recommended if you want to get out & about and discover Paphos and its' surrounding areas. Taxis are easy to book, cards & numbers available, local bus services on the coast road are excellent & quite inexpensive.
Easy to follow directions from either airport can be supplied with a Google Earth
Kissonerga is well located, and ideally positioned to explore many interesting places to visit. The village has several restaurants, supermarkets, banks and a pharmacy, check out Trip Advisor. There is also a choice of tavernas which come highly recommended, within walking distance on the coast road. 10 minute drive up to neighbouring Tala village square is a true taste of Cyprus with many traditional tavernas to be enjoyed. Paphos is around 15 mins by car, & Coral Bay around 10 mins.
Hiring a car is not essential but is recommended for those who want to explore all that Cyprus has to offer. A drive up to the pine clad Troodos Mountains is recommended and traditional villages include Lania, Omodos and Kakopetria or visit the beautiful monastery of Agios Neofytos. For a nice day out you can head to the popular fishing harbours of Polis and Latchi. Cyprus has the best of both, there is 'old' Cyprus offering charm and tradition or 'new' Cyprus which is livelier and modern. It is all there to be enjoyed, so your holiday is truly what you make it. Paphos town and harbour has an array of shops, restaurants and bars for a good evening out and Paphos Fort often stages special attractions throughout the year. For the daytime, if you are adventurous Paphos Water Park is reached in 15 mins drive and is great for the kids. Many special interest holidays can be enjoyed such as fishing, cycling or birdwatching. A Spring visit to Cyprus provides some of the most exciting birding in all Europe.
