The layout consists of a kitchen/living/dining area, one double bedroom with en suite shower and front and back terraces overlooking Marsascala Harbour and country valley views.

The apartment is fully licensed and certified by the Malta Tourism Authority, furnished and finished to high specifications to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

My name is George and I live in Zurrieq Malta with my wife Cynthia & our child Michela. We bought Ta Kurun property in October 2006 after we spending 5 years renting Ta' Kurun we bought Ta' Rosi property next door to Ta' Kurun. George and Cynthia Debono are the founders of GCM Holidays. Our motto is to offer an accommodation of good standing so that this increases the entire holiday package which the lovely country of Malta has to offer to tourists.collect their customers from the airport and take them to the apartment situated in Bella Vista, Marsascala. On the way to the apartment, George and Cynthia show their customers the facilities which are available in this locality such as restaurants, shops, the bus terminus, etc. We furnished these apartments with to the highest standards.

The area of Bella Vista in Marsascala is very quiet although it is not too far from the center. This location is minutes away from the capital city Valletta, Victoriosa, Cospicua,Senglea and Marsaxlokk. There is direct bus service to these locations while other locations can be reached by changing buses at the airport or at Valletta.

What makes this apartment unique

Ta' Kurun & Ta' Rosi apartments are situated in Marsascala Malta in the area known as Bella Vista. From the front and back terraces one can enjoy lovely views of Marsascala Harbour and the Maltese country side. This location is served with all the necessary services such as banks, supermarkets, pharmacy, bars and restaurants and a lovely promenade around the harbour.

Lovely place with a great view!

Lovely well equipped apartment with a wonderful view across the harbour to the sea. Lots of ships coming and going. View across open country in the other direction. Free wifi. The owner George does a free pickup and drop off from the airport. Marsascala nice and laid back with great restaurants around the harbour, and good stores for food etc. Steep climb back up the hill but keeps you fit!! Balcony at one side and terrace at the other so you can always get the sun. Only downsides are a hard mattress which George says he is replacing soon, the shower could do with a refresh and the hot water takes an age to come through. Wouldn't put us off staying again!

Spacious and comfortable

The apartment was clean and very spacious having a huge bedroom with a view of the countryside and a large living room and kitchen area with its view of the harbour. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we enjoyed breakfasting on the terrace in the sun. It was very quiet but also near the facilities,a small supermarket and the bus stop to reach other areas of the island were only10 minutes walk away and there were lots of restaurants down at the harbour. All in all this was a good base for a stay in Malta and with the extra touches provided by George we would recommend it to others.He kindly met us at the airport and delivered us to the apartment where he had generously provided us with a welcome pack of food items and at the end of the week, took us back to the airport and as it was an evening flight he had kindly looked after our luggage all day. It was great customer service!

Maraskala holiday flat

Lovely flat, the terraces are great for sitting in the sun, enjoying the views.

Located at the top of a hill so good for what ever breeze there is in the hot weather.

George collected us from and took us to the airport.

Very reasonably priced.

Close to shops, restaurants, designated swimming areas in bay and bus stops. 45 minute bus ride to Valetta, the buses are easy to use.

Good apartment

We stayed in February with warm sun, cool fresh winds and mostly overnight rain. Sitting in bed with a cup of tea we had a view through the north west facing balcony up the valley. All our breakfasts were had in the sun on the south east facing balcony with spectacular views over the town and harbour.

George was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed.

There was a good variety of restaurants in town which is a fast walk down the steep hill and a much slower one back up!

There are lovely coastal walks especially round to Marsasloxx.

Buses are frequent and cost only 1.50 euros all day per person.

A lovely apartment and a great place to stay. We plan to go back to the flat at a later date.

Tolle Lage mit fantastischer Aussicht

George ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns kostenlos vom Flughafen abgeholt und hingefahren hat. Danke! Das Apartment (ganz oben auf einem Hügel) ist groß und gut geschnitten mit zwei tollen Dachterrassen: Eine mit Blick auf den Ort und die Bucht, eine große mit Sitzgruppe und Liegen mit Blick auf's Land. Die Ausstattung ist gut, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht (ein paar alte Lebensmittel-Reste und Putzutensilien sollte man mal entsorgen). Hier und da könnte es etwas sauberer und besser gepflegt sein. Sofa und Matratze sollten unbedingt ausgetauscht werden. Nachts ist es sehr still. Morgens um 7 Uhr beginnt das Leben: Kirchturm-Glocken und Jäger, die - jetzt in der Jagd-Saison - Vögel schießen. An langes Ausschlafen ist nicht zu denken. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Marsaskala ist ein guter Ausgangsort für die Besichtigung der Insel mit Bus oder Auto.

MARSASCALA is an ancient fishing village (often referred to as M'Scala) with its picturesque bay that lies to the south-east of Malta. The Maltese call the area WIED IL-GHAJN (wid il ajn) and many Maltese families have summer homes there. In the holiday season it is buzzing with activity, much loved by locals and visitors alike. It sprawls at the feet of two hillsides descending from Zabbar and Zejtun. Its long U-shaped coastline and beach, its rocky promontories and its multicoloured fishing vessels give it lots of character. this is enhanced by a big variety of modern leisure facilities, restaurants and bars. Marsascala Bay used to extend deep into the valley to a cave with a natural spring of fresh water where old mariners took their water before sailing. This zone used to be a haven for Roman ships during their long period of occupation.
