This imposing, well-presented villa is situated on the much sought after area of Camposol. It is positioned on a large plot with an attractively-planted, walled garden. The gardens are complimented by a 9x4m kidney-shaped private pool with sun terrace and large, rooftop solarium for a relaxing family holiday. Total peace and quiet is assured if you wish to enjoy a night around the pool or relax on either terrace with a barbecue. Enjoy mountain views from the large first floor solarium. Access to the living area and pool terrace is ramped for ease of movement and one bedroom downstairs has an en-suite wet room with disabled facilities. There is an attractively paved hard area for car parking within the gated gardens, with a pathway giving uninterrupted connection to the ramped access at the rear of the property. The local shops and restaurants are only 5 minutes by car; a car is essential. Within a short drive there are historical sites, a water park and areas of outstanding beauty.

We had a great holiday, thank you. The wall to wall sunshine was such a treat, if a bit too hot at times. Our great grandson, if allowed, would have been in the pool 24/7.

The pool and villa could not really be faulted.

Just to say we had a great couple of weeks in your villa. The room downstairs worked really well for my dad and it was really comfortable for all of us. Obviously the adapted bathroom was brilliant and it was also good that my dad could get around the apartment independently. We spent many hours on the sun terrace or the covered area at the front.

Beautiful and comfortable villa

It was the third time we stayed at the villa and as before, we love it there. The property was spotless, comfortable with everything you wish for, excellent for the dogs and made very good friends who live nearby. It has a quiet location and we are going to stay once more in August next year. Andrew has been excellent in answering queries and Nick and his wife, the pool man living nearby has always been very friendly and most of all very helpful, should we needed anything. The pool is the summer is always nice and kept very clean and offers a cool relief from the temperatures. Thoroughly recommend it.

Pleasant, easy, comfortable villa.

A well equipped villa and very pleasant to stay in. Sadly there's no grass but that seems to be normal in this part of Spain. The pool was clean, all the rooms had fans and 1 bedroom and the living room had A/C. The kitchen was well equipped and the general area was quiet. Its a 4 minute drive to the shopping centre which also has bars, restaurants etc. Excellent beaches and warm sea.

We found Andy to be very accomodating and flexible when we had to change dates and number of people at the last minute and he also allowed our small dog to come with us.

A nice house, a nice owner.

Perfect, homely, beautiful Villa

I had a wonderful week here and am already looking forward to going back!

The villa perfect for a small group, family or just a couple. It is very well kept and has everything you need to make you feel right at home.

We did not venture far away from the villa as it was so comfortable and relaxed that we didn't need to, however, the information left for us on the area and surroundings was so detailed and varied that it would have been really easy to venture out and explore.

Although we did not use it, there is a beautiful rooftop terrace adjoined to the double bedroom upstairs and there is disabled access which would be really useful for those who would need it.

Thank you for a lovely stay. It was exactly what we needed!!

Fab villa holiday

First time doing a "villa holiday" and it was fab. The villa is really well maintained and has everything you could possibly need. A proper home away from home! Easy to get to from the airport using Andy's instructions.

Wheelchair friendly villa

This place was great for my disabled dad, who is a double amputee and wheelchair bound but completely independent. Rented some extra equipment which was very handy, and owner sorted all for us. Pool was great. Villa very spacious so we all had our own space if needed in and out. Camposol community complex very handy for shopping, eating and even a post office!! Villa perfectly situated to explore Murcia. We highly recommend. Thanks Andy."

Coast/Beach:

Within easy reach are a variety of beaches from the relatively busy Puerto de Mazarron, right round the bay to La Azoia, which is quieter. The sea is clear and shallow with occasional high waves. There is a beautiful coastline to the south, with deserted beaches within a 30 minute drive. It is very peaceful most of the year. In summer there are normal beach activities but the resorts are a secret well kept by the Spanish! The beaches are not over- commercialised as others can be in Spain.

Travel:

Car is essential to gain most satisfaction from the villa and surrounding region. Alicante Airport is 1 hour 20 mins drive. Murcia Airport, St Javier is 45 mins drive. Car hire is available at the airports. It is best to book in advance particularly in high season. The area is well supported by good motorways and dual carrigeways, some minor roads can be in need of attention. Last summer an experimental "train" service ran from the commercial centres around the urbanisation, 3euros return.

Distances:

There are two commercial centres on the development both a short drive from the villa approx 4km with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks and medical facilities. The golf club invariably has social events and is walkable from the villa.

There is no language barrier on Camposol, although multi-national the predominant language is English. Away from the coast the language is Spanish.

Further Details:

A holiday in this part of Spain can be as diverse as you would like it to be, chilling out and soaking up the sun by your own private pool or, for the more adventurous, pre-booking a scuba diving course to become a qualified diver before you go home.

Horse riding, laser clay-pigeon shooting (a great family day), sailing, fishing, quad biking, walking in the Sierra Espuna National Park, along with Terra Mitica themed water park are all activities allowing holidaymakers to make the most of the wonderful climate and scenery.

For those wishing to enjoy a little local retail therapy, all the shops you could want are in Murcia and Cartagena.

The Gabas be Barracas, Alhama de Murcia Roman baths, Aledo's Moorish Watchtower and a superb interactive museum at Lorca castle are all within 30 mins of Camposol, providing interest for those who want to absorb some local history. Visit some of the regions beautiful old towns with narrow streets and great architecture and stop for tapas or el menu del dia, excellent value away from tourist hotspots.

Notes on accommodation: A selection of books, CDs and DVDs are available for use while staying at the villa. Well-stocked supermarkets and local amenities are a 5 minute drive away. All costs are included in the price, with the exception of additional cleaning and laundry services. There is an external rotary washing line in addition to a free standing clothes airer. There is no smoking permitted inside the villa. All rooms have ceiling fans, with central heating for winter periods. The lounge and upstairs bedroom are air-conditioned. There is a cot and high chair available at no extra cost. Internet access is available for a small fee payable to Compusurf(Commercial Centre), bring your own laptop. Outside: Ramped sun terrace next to the private 9x4m kidney shaped, stepped pool with handrail, roof solarium with views over the surrounding hills, sun loungers, patio tables and chairs, and a gas BBQ. The pool is cleaned weekly by Nick, who acts as a contact person and key holder along with his wife Tracey. If you need to know anything, they can help. He usually cleans the pool on Mondays. Utility Room: There is a tumble-dryer adjacent to bathroom 2 for use on the shaded porch, for venting purposes. Cot and high chair available at no extra cost. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean bed linen, bath towels & pool-side towels are supplied at the start of the let. If you require cleaning and fresh linen during your stay, this can be arranged ;please ask when booking. Clients are required to bring their own beach towels. Other: A boiler room with 1000 litre water tank ensures continuity of supply, even during summer. The terrace overlooks the garden with seats and table. There is a solarium off bedroom 1; great for sunbathing or watching the sun set with a glass of wine.
