A very popular and charming 2 bedroom villa with private pool (for clients use only) situated in a quiet location in the resort of Cala n Porter. It is within a few minutes walk to the beach and commercial centre.The villa comprises of a kitchen which leads into a living room. Off the living room are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside there is a secure terrace with pool and BBQ area which is ideal for couples, families young or older.

About NIgel & Denise

Denise and myself have lived on the island of Menorca for a number of years and up until recently we were responsible for preparing the villa for guests. We have now passed this on to friends of ours John & Loudes. We love the island and enjoy the peace tranquility and slow pace of life. We have enjoyed many happy family holidays on the island which resulted in our decision to move here permanently.

Why NIgel & Denise chose Alaior

This villa is owned a friend of ours, Mike Jenkinson. He does not live on the island and due to commitments now only manages the odd visit. On his behalf, I manage the bookings whilst locally the villa is maintained by Maggie & Manolo and it is prepared for guests by John & Loudes. They will be on hand to help and assist should you have any problems or need advice.They villa was purchased in 1990 due to its quiet location with everything you need locally. Ideal for 2/4 people and only a short distance to and from the airport.

The private pool /terrace area has the benefit of the sun virtually all day with some sea views.

Notes on accommodation: The villa is suitable for children and the elderly and has off road parking for a car. The pool and terrace area are secure and offer some sea views. Outside: The pool is approx 8 x 3 mtrs with depths from 1 mtr to 1.8 mts.The terraced area is surround by walls and flowering hedging plants. There is a built in BBQ, table and chairs sunbeds and parasols. The side gate is locked making it ideal for families with young children. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning. Rental prices include bedlinen for all beds and one set of towels per person. These will be changed weekly if the stay is for 2 weeks.

The villa was excellent. The outside space is excellent. Microwave broke on 1st day and was replaced same day brilliant service. The place was spotless and would certainly recommend. Have stayed in a lot of villas over the years and found this up there as one of the best. Would definitely stay again,

Wonderful stay at Villa Pearla

We had a great week in this lovely villa. The villa was a good size for my husband and I and 2 teenagers. It was clean, well equipped and in a great location for access to the town and supermarkets. The weather was very hot and my only small criticism would be that there is no shade around the pool and it really needed a substantial parasol. However we had a great holiday, would certainly recommend this property and would hope to stay here again.

Everything we needed

We had a lovely holiday at Villa Perla and could not fault it. It is only 15 minutes drive from the airport and is in a quiet position but close to all the amenities such as shops, bars, restaurants etc. Very private surroundings make it a nice place to spend nice quiet days by the pool. We have already booked it for June 2016.

Coast/Beach:

Cala n Porter has all the facilities of an established resort, including beach bars and easy parking. There are sunbeds, parasols and pedalos for hire. The beautiful sandy beach and bay is enclosed by high cliffs. The sea is generally clear, calm and shallow. Great for swimming and snorkelling. There are life guards manning the beach during the summer months. There are many other beautiful beaches only a short drive away.

Travel:

The airport is about 10 minutes drive from Cala n Porter. There is no bus service from the airport to Cala n Porter only a taxi service. Once in resort car hire is not essential as there is a regular bus service during the summer to all major resorts and towns via Mahon but a car is advisable if you wish to explore the island in your own time.

Distances:

The commercial centre is about a 5 mins walk from villa.There is a varied selection of shops, bars restaurants and a chemist.The beach is also about a 5 mins walk away down some steps and about 10 mins the less energetic route. Mahon the capital is about 15 minute drive and Ciutadella the old capital at the other end of the island is about a 1 hour drive. There's numerous other beautiful beaches and places to explore.

Further Details:

Apart from the blue sea and sandy beach, Cala n Porter has ample supermarkets, bars and restaurants, some with entertainment. Whether it it is quiet and relaxing holiday you want or something a little bit more energetic there is something for everyone. Tranquility at the villa and beach, free entertainment at local establishments or the late night disco at the Caves of Xori. The choice is yours. Other activities on the island include sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, tennis, horse riding, go carting, ten pin bowling, flat green bowling and cycling. There is a new splash world in Punta Prima 20 mins drive.

Prices for the property are per week in UK pounds.The advertised price includes a recently imposed Sustainable Tourism Tax which is payable to the local tax office. A 20% per week deposit is required at the time of booking and full payment 10 weeks before arrival. If the tax is cancelled in the future it will be refunded.
Deposits may be refunded unto 15 weeks before arrival provided the weeks can be re booked.
Any special requirements please ask and we will do our best to accommodate you.Access to the villa is not before 4pm and departure no later than 10am, however, every effort is made to accommodate early/late arrivals and departures. Over the last few years all arrivals have had access early.

The deposit at time of booking is 20% of the total price with the balance payable 10 weeks before arrival.
Payment by cheque or bank transfer.
