Apartment in Mandria, Paphos, Cyprus - 10 Minute Walk to Beach, 5 Minute Walk to Village, Airport 10 Minute Drive, Paphos Town 20 Mins

New 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ground floor apartment with full air-conditioning and includes parking. The apartment is located within a new development which is fully landscaped and includes 2 large swimming pools with children's paddling pool. The beach is a very pleasant 20 minute walk through the farmed field of Mandria. There is a beach bar right on the beach with impressive views of the sea and the Troodos mountains in the back drop. Mandria village is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. There are 2 traditional tavernas and 4 more modern restaurants including a fish bar which serves excellent fish and chips and a a brand new Chinese /Indian restaurant. There is a local taxi. There is a local bus to Paphos town which leaves and returns several times during the day. Paphos town is about 25 minutes drive from Mandria and the airport is located only about 10 minute drive away. There are 3 excellent international golf courses located near by. A very relaxing holiday with excellent weather most of the year.

Free Internet available in the village and around the apartments and we have recently installed Internet TV

David and I live and work in North Yorkshire, married for 37 years with 2 daughters and 2 granddaughter. We have been coming to Cyprus on holiday for about 10 years and we really enjoy the Climate and the friendly atmosphere. We have been coming to Mandria for about 8 years and we now know the place well and have made a lot of friends. Its a nice friendly relaxing place with no problems and the Tavernas are all good and really excellent value. The area is surrounded by farm land full of vegetables and fruit and there are some very nice walks around and down to the beach. We enjoy the walks when ever we can. We also like the fact that the airport is so close, only about a 10 minute drive from the airport to Mandria.

Why Sandra Clint chose Paphos & Suburbs

We bought the apartment as an investment, we know the developer quite well and have seen plenty of other developments he has all completed satisfactorily to a good standard so we felt comfortable using DNP Developments. We think the apartment is very spacious and well fitted out to a high standard including marble tiled floors, bathrooms and kitchen worktops. The apartment also benefits from all included white goods and full air conditioning. The complex is a short easy walk to the village and within easy access of the airport and Paphos town. You can manage without a hire car as there is a local village bus to Paphos and from there you can get further buses to the old town and Corral Bay.

great family stay

Thanks to Dave and Sandra for another wonderful stay in their apartment. The owners are very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.Throwing distance to the pool where you can sit on the patio and watch the kids swimming. The apartment has everything you need and with the addition of wifi and satellite tv, it helped pass the time away at during the high sun.

Lovely apartment

Many thanks Dave and Sandra for the use of your lovely apartment. It's position is great with a 15 min walk to the village with its shop and tavernas. If you have a rental car Mandria is an ideal spot to explore the rest of Cyprus. Access to your wifi is a real bonus.. Once again thanks and we hope to book again next year.. Chris and Jacqui

Great Value Apartment

Just stayed in the the apartment and had a relaxing week. The apartment was perfect, very clean and well equipped. It has British TV channels,wifi,washing machine,lots of kitchen appliances, loads of bedding...even plenty of coat hangers!! The apartment has a nice sized patio that looks onto the pool and beyond this is the sea 1 kilometre away..perfect for an evening stroll.

The apartment is well situated in the village of mandria,the village centre is a few minutes walk away and has a well stocked supermarket and several bars and restaurants. if you're looking to go out and about i would recommend hiring a car,i did this and paid less than £50 for the week...Paphos is about 10 mins away.

all in all the apartment is great value for money.....hope to return soon.

Couldn't stay away

This was our second stay in four month. The apartment has everything you need and now has Internet TV installed which if you need to come in from the glorious sunshine and cool down you can relax and watch the uk program's or a good selection of films including recent releases. We are already looking into returning next June and October.

Fantastic Stay

A lovely apartment, clean and very well equipped, patio area great sun trap and swimming pool only a few feet away. The village approx 10 mins away has good places to eat and drink. We were here to attend a wedding and had only been to Cyprus once before over thirty years ago, the weather is glorious and the people very friendly, we would certainly come back and would recommend to family and friends.

Excellent stay

This was our second stay at this apartment, and we had a great holiday. The apartment is on a very quiet complex and most days we had the pool to ourselves. The village of mandria has some very nice places to eat and is a good base for exploring the local area. The apartment is very clean and spacious, the terrace is a great sun trap, it really feels more like a home than been on a apartment complex. We will be booking again for our next visit to cyprus and have reccomended to friends who have now booked.

The beach is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment, but can be driven in about 5 minutes. The beach is quite small and unspoilt and normally very quite. The water is clean and shallow on entry and great for swimming. The beach is quite shingle near the waters edge and we would advise rubber type shoes. The scenery is impressive with the Troodos presenting a great back drop. We love it and swim there as often as we can.


Paphos Airport is very close at about a 15 minute drive from the village. Car hire is not essential as every thing needed is in the village. There are taxis and the village bus which is useful, however, we suggest a car will enhance the holiday and enable access to all of the other surrounding villages and resorts etc like Coral Bay.


Paphos harbour and old town about 25 minute drive, Geroskipou about 10 minute drive where there are banks, chemist, garages and a supermarket. There is also a good petrol station in Mandria. There are various small villages located near to Mandria, all within about a 15 min drive.

Further Details:

We like to take a drive into Paphos Harbour area where there is a free municipal car park, we often sit at one of the tavernas near the Castle where we have a beer or so and just watch the world go by. There are plenty of tourist shops where you can browse the local produce. Sometimes we walk further along the main tourist are for a full English breakfast for about 3 euros. You can also buy a pint of beer for between 2 and 3 euros at quite a few of the cafes and restaurants. We also like to go the market at the old town, which is worth a visit and end with a coffee at one of the Tavernas overlooking the valley and sea. Coral bay is a very nice coastal resort which is about a 20 minute drive from Paphos, we often pop into St George where there is a very nice sea food restaurant overlooking the bay, the octopus is worth trying there.

You can take a two day cruise from Limassol to Port Said and then on to Cairo to see the Pyramids and the Cairo Museum. The entertainment on the ship was great, we had a wonderful time and recommend it. There is a market at Timi on a Sunday, Timi is very close to Mandria, it is certainly worth a visit. Paypal now accepted for an additional charge of 3%

Booking Notes:
Please contact us direct to check your preferred dates are available and we will provisionally book your holiday for 10 days. Once your flights are confirmed, we will list your dates as booked a deposit of 50% of the holiday cost is then due within 10 days. The balance of the holiday cost plus a security deposit is due 8 weeks before your departure. A £100 security deposit is required in case of damage and or breakages. This will be refunded less any costs within 4 weeks of your return.
If you book through Owners Direct they will charge you a service fee of about £40 as security, but we are not too sure why. We ask you to pay into our bank account on line and we send an email / text message to confirm receipt and so this is all traceable.
We prefer to deal direct with the traveller as quite often we negotiate discounts and extras etc including welcome pack etc. Owners direct cannot do this. The service fee they charge is in addition to the annual fee we pay to be on the web site. So if you pay the service fee its up to you. you can ring them on 020 8827 1998 to discuss the merits of paying this service fee.
