Located in the beautiful Rivelin Valley, which extends westward from the edge of Sheffield, approx 3 miles onto the heather covered moors of the Peak District national park. The stone built cottage dates back several centuries and has been restored to a high standard using natural products. The setting is rural, surrounded by farmland. The location, together with thick stone walls and a wood burning stove, lend a great sense of warmth and tranquility. The cottage enjoys access to a private south facing cottage garden with patio area hanging with grape vines. Across the lane opposite the cottage is a well that has been used since Medieval times, once by travellers using an ancient right of way across the Pennines. It is only 5 mins drive to the start of the Peak District Moors, gateway to a multitude of outdoor activities, lovely villages and historic sites such as Chatswoth House. Meadowhall shopping and Sheffield Arena lie only 20 mins distant. Country Pub 400m.
