Casa Quinda is a lovely detached villa with large palm trees at the front with a large terrace at the bottom of the garden, ideal for playing games, relaxing or reading. The large terrace around the pool is surrounded by plants and statues, with a built-in barbecue and tiled table and chairs. It is south facing, so the pool and garden has the sun all day. The villa is totally enclosed once the front gate is closed. There is also an outside shower and sink, as well as a covered Naya with an outdoor kitchen. There is a fridge here so you can enjoy cold drinks at the pool without having to go too far. All bedrooms, lounge and dining room have Air-conditioning and warm-air heating, charged extra, based upon meter readings taken at the beginning and end of your stay. There is Satellite TV with English channels as well as German and Spanish, and a dvd player. There is also a TV with a DVD player in the family room downstairs.

Married with 3 children, my husband and I are both self-employed. We all love staying at the villa, at different times throughout the year. We love holidaying all over the world but holidaying here is like coming home. It is an ideal place to go with our family, our extended family and with friends. Everyone that has been there has come back loving it as much as we do. We are always updating and renovating the villa which we enjoy, but it is so easy to stay in and really we have not had to do too much, apart from decorate and replace with more modern furniture. I always look to see what else we can do, to make our stay even more enjoyable, and I hope that means it also makes others' stay more enjoyable too.
Quinda purchased this Villa in 2004
Why Quinda chose Moraira
The villa is a traditional Spanish style villa and is set in a peaceful area of Moraira, surrounded by trees, with a view of the valley. It is close enough to Moraira town, so shopping and bars and restaurants are easily reached. Moraira is a really pretty and classy place, which is very close to beautiful beaches and fabulous restaurants. We love the area because there is plenty to see and just walking around the Marina after lunch or dinner is enjoyable. The villa itself is spacious enough for 2 families to go on holiday together, without being on top of each other. The pool is big enough for the whole family to enjoy together, and we have had many 'family, it's a knockout' competitions in it!
What makes this Villa unique
We love spending time in the pool and sometimes jog down to the beach (we usually try to get someone to drive down and pick us up, because we are too lazy to walk back). The villa is ideal for us when we go with other family members or with friends, because we can let the kids have the whole of the downstairs floor, and the adults do not get in their way! We enjoy having a barbeque around the pool which means we do not have to spend time getting ready to go out, and the kids can continue to swim in the pool if they want to...and the adults!! The outside shower is great, sometimes when we want to get the kids ready quickly, we shower them all outside in a row and it saves lots of 'getting ready time' in the evening!

El-Portet Beach is a couple of minutes drive from Casa Quinda. To walk there would take about 15 minutes but longer on the way back, because it is up hill. Moraira beach is about 5 minutes drive away. There are numerous beaches within 15-20 minutes drive, Javea is one of the larger ones.
Alicante airport is about 50-60 minutes from Casa Quinda and Valencia airport is about an hour and 10 minutes. Car hire is recommended.
Moraira town and beach is about a 5 minute drive, El-Portet is a couple of minutes and Javea is about 10 minutes drive. Jalon Valley is about a 15 minute drive. Neighbouring towns and villages include Benitachell, Benissa, Calpe, Javea, Altea, Denia, and Benidorm is about 20 minutes drive.
The Costa Blanca has been known as the White Coast for many years. Its 170 miles of coast feature unforgettable sandy beaches and inviting blue-green seas. The coast is dotted with unspoilt relaxing villages and resorts. 24 hour entertainment can still be found a short drive away in busy Benidorm. In addition the region boasts many established and new Golf courses, one of the biggest water parks and also Theme parks in Europe, as well as unparalleled water sports, both surface and sub-aqua, (there are some of the largest Marine Parks in Europe clustered within the boundaries of the Northern Costa Blanca, as well as good water conditions and visibility). You can take the family to the amazing Terra Mitica theme park near Benidorm and the Vergal Safari Park near Denia.
For those wishing to 'shop until they drop' apart from Benidorm's dozens of boutiques, shopping mall and pedestrian shopping areas, Alicante, and Valencia cities both lie within an easy car ride along the coast in either direction. Valencia in particular also offers marvellous Aquarium, Museum and public attractions, as well as historical places of interest.
If your tastes incline more towards the countryside, those limestone hills and cliffs pretty soon turn into mountains as you head inland. They provide fantastic walking country, with well-marked paths through fragrant scrub reminiscent of Corsica’s maquis. One example is a circular route in and through the Sierra de Bernia - literally through, because part of the path is a narrow, low natural tunnel pierced through the actual mountain ridge.
Great Sailing - Moraira has one of the most beautiful marinas in the Costa Blanca.
It’s well worthwhile exploring inland by car. Guadalest and Castel de Casrels, are pleasant to wander around. On an inland drive, you’re guaranteed amazing views and beautiful countryside and you're never far from a restaurant, often offering lunch on a shady terrace with stunning views.
