An authentic Savoyard fully equipped large (160 sq m) charming chalet. 5 large bedrooms (4 doubles/twins and 1 bunk room for up to 6). 900m from centre of Morzine and 150m from the 'green' return piste that runs down to Morzine from Les Fys. Large outside parking area for up to 6 cars and a double car garage. Large basement incorporating large boot drier rack, ski, bikes storage area and separate utility room. Fireplace, terrace, balcony. 40" Satellite TV, DVD player, Broadband WiFi, Bose iPod player. Quiet area with stunning views from both sides of chalet. Cot and high chair available free of charge.

We live in England with our three children aged 3 to 9. We have fallen in love with Morzine and holiday there as often as we can.

Why Eileen Watts chose Morzine
Morzine is a great holiday destination. It's an authentic Savoyard town with great restaurants and interesting shops with loads of things to do. The skiing in the Portes du Soleil region is simply vast and summer is a great fun family holiday. Also being only an hour from Geneva is a real bonus.
What makes this Chalet unique
We love being only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Morzine with all the restaurants, bars and shops. However the chalet is in a lovely quiet area with stunning views. We also enjoy the space the chalet provides for a large number of people. The garden in summer is great for BBQs and the children to play in.

This is great place to stay, close to slopes and the town
This chalet is all you need for your skiing holiday, its a 15min walk to town, but its 25min walk back up the hill if you have young children. The chalet has everything you need and very spacious for 3 families. I would suggest leaving skis in the resort in a lockup if you have children and no car, we used felix ski shop just for locker and you will pass it on the way to the resort. The chalet boot room is great and very warm. It is possible to ski back within 50m of the chalet providing there is snow at resort level. When I return to morzine I certainly would stay here again

Great stay in Morzine
We booked the chalet for our annual MTB trip to Morzine. The chalet is fully equipped, spacious and only a 15 minute walk from the centre of town.

Nous avons passé avec enfants et petits enfants un excellent séjour dans ce chalet fort confortable , spacieux, bien décoré et avec une très belle vue sur les montagnes . Nous avons apprécié cette ambiance typique du chalet savoyard .

Travel: Geneva airport is the closest airport - 70km (1 hr 10 min). Thonon train station is the closest, at 30km away. It takes about 8 hrs to drive from Calais, allowing for a couple of short stops. Distances: Chalet Alppimaja is 900m from the centre of Morzine and the main ski lifts. It takes 10-15 mins to walk with children. Avoriaz 11km. Les Gets 6km. Lake Montriond 5km. Thonon 30km. Evian 40km. Yvoire 50km. Geneva 70km. Annecy approx 1.5 hrs drive. Further Details: There are many restaurants and bars a short walk away in Morzine centre. The excellent Champion supermarket (open 7.30am - 8.30pm every day all winter long) is extremely useful as is the colourful weekly market (held on Weds mornings). The main French banks are all situated in a 50m radius of the Tourist Office in the town centre.

Booking Notes: A non refundable deposit of 25% payable on booking. Remaining amount due 60 days before start of rental period (or 100% on booking if within 60 days) after which no cancellation refunds are available. Payment can be made on line at Owners Direct or via cheque in euros or sterling (exchange rate taken from Owners Direct website on day of payment plus a £25 admin fee per cheque) or by bank transfer to our French account. An additional 1000 euros damage and cleanliness deposit is also payable and will be refunded 7 days after a satisfactory inspection of the property on departure. Changeover Day: Preferred changeover day is Saturday. Arrival time 3pm onwards. Departure time 10am. Flexible bookings (eg long weekends) considered if we have availability. Notes on prices: Prices are for the property per week in euros. Bed linen, duvets, towels, wood for the fire and a clean on departure are included in the rental price. Short stays can be booked at our discretion.
