This luxury apartment has high quality furnishings throughout, marble floors, a fully equipped kitchen which includes stainless steel appliances, American fridge/freezer and granite worktops. There is satellite TV, HiFi and WiFi ADSL in the apartment. The living room opens up onto a 38 feet wide covered terrace for outdoor living and dining and wet bar. There is also a large open terrace with BBQ leading to the pool. Denise, our housekeeper will take care of your everyday needs including personal laundry. There is a path to the beach opposite the apartment and sun loungers are provided. Jordans Supermarket and Il Tempio Italian Restaurant (beach front) is within walking distance.

We live in England and have been visiting Barbados for over twenty years. It has been and always will be our favourite Caribbean island for the warmth of its people, its beautiful beaches and ocean and the variety of activities it offers.

Why Louise Stevenson chose Prospect
The opportunity arose in 2006 to buy our own property on the West coast. The location is excellent being only 80 yards from the beach opposite and with its own walkway. It is very near the popular West coast restaurants, including The Cliff, Daphnes and Cin Cin (opened 2010 and proving to be very popular) and a mile south of Sandy Lane. It is also within easy access to the Oval cricket ground (10 mins drive) and the Garrison Savannah horse racing track (also around 10 mins drive.) Golfing, horse riding, catamaran sailing are very popular activities - just to name a few.
What makes this Apartment unique
Emerald Pearl is on the ground floor with its own private swimming pool and small garden area. It is unique in that it is the only apartment on the Summerland development to have its own pool. There is also a communal pool with a jacuzzi which is accessed through a private gate from the apartment. It is within walking distance of a local supermarket and also an Italian restaurant. However, if you prefer to have a cook, this can be arranged. Our lovely housekeeper, Denise, who we have known for many years will look after you very well attending your daily needs. There is also a concierge service which is run by our managing agents in Barbados should you require any assistance arranging tours etc.

It was so hard to leave this property on the beautiful island of Barbados. Emerald Pearl was the perfect home away from home during our recent vacation. Great location, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, wonderful outdoor living space and the most inviting pool!
Denise, the house keeper, was a so welcoming and such a delight. Louise recommended Stanley for airport transfer. We also hired him during the week for an island tour. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable.
Honestly, we could not have asked for a better experience overall! We hope to return and will certainly share this property listing with friends and family.

My Husband, myself and 2 of our adult children stayed at Emerald Pearl this past week.
The house was perfect for our needs. The home has a good size pool that was so important during our visit. The ocean was extremely rough (not a normal state for Barbados) and we were advised not to swim.
The location was well suited to our needs as we were on the Island to attend a wedding at The Cliffs.
All was what we needed......However, what made this trip a total success was the Housekeeper Denise and our Driver Stanley! They made everything so easy. They are both gems. Accommodating our needs with polish and grace. Cheers to them!
The apartment was beautiful. We enjoyed every bit of it especially the pool. Ms. Denise was the absolute best. I wish we could have taken her home!! She was so sweet, and gave us so many great suggestions. Every rental should come with a Ms. Denise. We would definitely stay here again.
Great apartment , good for exploring the island, excellent restaurantsnearby
We enjoyed the stay very much. The apartment is practical, well equipped and in a good location from which to explore. We went to Barbados to watch a cricket game and the apartment is only 10 minutes from the ground ! A housekeeper is provided which adds to the ease of staying there and Louise the owner was super helpful recommending restaurants, rental car company, excursions etc. if I had one downside it's that it's next to a main road so there is road noise that can disrupt eating on the terrace but overall you can live with that for the location with respect to doing things and the quality of the home.
I cannot say enough good things about this home. When I saw the pictures, I thought it was too good to be true, but it really is exactly as the pictures show. The home has 3 bedrooms and a great kitchen and living room, but the outdoor space is what really sets it apart. Though it's in a condo building, this does actually have it's own private terrace and pool - the only unit in the complex to have one! We spent most of our time lounging by and in the pool, taking trips to the beach right across the street. There's a market only 5 minutes away walking, and you absolutely have to go to Cin Cin, a 10 minute walk the other way and the best meal we had on our trip. Plus, Denise was amazing - she was so sweet, and she gave us some great recommendations while we were there. Like I said, I can't recommend this place enough, and this will definitely be our home base next time we're in Barbados!

Distances: The apartment is approximately 10 minutes drive from Holetown, 10 minutes to Bridgetown and there is a local supermarket 5 minutes walk with two Italian restaurants also within 5 minutes walk.
