Julie and Jonathan live in Darwen, Lancashire. We purchased the property in 2008 as we had been holidaying in Rhodes for many years and love the relaxed way of life, the beaches and the food.

We love Lardos because of the relaxed pace of life, the excellent tavernas and the many fantastic beaches in the local area.
What makes this Villa unique
We love the convenient location of the property - in a quiet area just 4-5 minutes walk from the village of Lardos. The fact that we don't need to walk far for shops, tavernas and bars means we always have a very restful holiday. We can recommend many tavernas in Lardos and can also guide you to more more restaurants in Pefkos and Lindos should you fancy a change. Altough there are plenty of beaches within a very short drive of the property, many days we find ourselves relaxing in the garden by the pool or on one of the first floor terraces. If you do wish to explore the island then it is very easy to get around either by bus or hire car.

A beautiful villa in a quaint town in Rhodes - the Villa is one of a series of 4 situated on a quiet straight road just 5/6 minutes from the centre of Lardos. - there are 3 good sized bedrooms - the top two walking out onto a balcony and a nice bathroom. The 3rd bedroom is on the ground floor with a shower room adjacent and so is ideal for any family member who cannot climb stairs. There is a comfortable lounge and a well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a wooden dining table big enough to fit all the family and 6 loungers for those days sitting around the pretty private pool. The road is quiet day and night. The town of Lardos is charming... a good choice of lovely restaurants and a good choice of bars and cafes...whether you like the rock music and fun times to be had in the Memories bar , a quiet drink in traditional surroundings or a English Pub experience... it is all in Lardos and the prices are much more competitive then the hustle and bustle of Lindos.. However if you want a night in Lindos there are taxis waiting to take you at a reasonable cost. Car Hire is reasonable value in Rhodes... hire one and drive to some of the beautiful nearby coves and beaches where sun loungers are reasonably priced.. In summary our holiday was wonderful, relaxing, fun and the town of Lardos and lovely villa we stayed in made it all the more enchanting.. Cant wait to return.......
a short walk to the village which has everything you need and more!
the villa and pool are really clean and although no Wi-Fi Julie (Lindos property management) went above and beyond and got a mobile wifi as my husband had to work during part of the holiday.
We would definitely stay here again and the owners gave us loads of local info to make our stay more enjoyable.
the only thing I would say is that a welcome pack (milk,water,toilet rolls) would have been really appreciated as we arrived late in the evening. would pay extra for this service!

Coast/Beach: Lardos and Glystra beaches are approx 3km away. Numerous other beaches within 15 min drive/bus ride away. Travel: Rhodes Airport is approx 40km away. Taxis and hire cars are readily available at the airport. Flights are available from many UK airports. All amenities are available in Lardos village so car hire is not essential. Distances: Lardos and Glystra beaches are approx 3km away. Lindos is 4km away. Afandou golf 20km. Rhodes town 35km. Further Details: Lardos village has a range of tavernas, bars and shops. There is also a bank, pharmacy, English speaking doctor. There is a regular bus service to Lindos and Rhodes Town along with other destinations and also a taxi rank. Car and motorbike hire is available for those wishing to explore the island.

Booking Notes: Bookings are made directly with the owner. A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking with the remainder due 8 weeks before arrival. If you are booking within 8 weeks of arrival then the full amount is payable at the time of booking. A £200 security deposit is payable with final payment. This will be returned within 2 weeks of departure providing there is no damage to the property. Changeover Day: Changeover days are flexible to suit flights. The villa is available from 4pm and should be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. Notes on prices: Prices shown are per week in UK pounds. Prices include electricity, air-conditioning/heating, bed linen, pool towels and bath towels and linen change for 2 week stays. Please contact the owner for discounted rates for longer term lettings.
