Holiday home was absolutely brilliant

Booked the bungalow for a mid week during antiques fairs in May/June

Accommodation is very spacious, clean and has all the modern comforts

All the furnishing is of very good quality, beds are very comfortable, kitchen has got everything you need, no need to bring your own and great very hot shower

Surprise welcome package included a local beer, eggs, milk, bread and some jam, much appreciated

Garden is a treat, massive all around the house, creates a very secluded hideaway

We were welcomed by deer on the first morning we woke up

Owner’s communication is very good and they replied to any question immediately

I hope to return on many occasions

We were worried about the property being on a main road but it is set back, trees to the front and double glazed so no issues with traffic at all. Comfortable, well maintained and clean it is a very easy property to feel at home in. We were on a walking holiday and appreciated the constant supply of hot water for showers on our return and access to the garage for walking gear! Excellent location and very helpful hosts . Thai restaurant in Horncastle recommended by our host was a very good choice.

Lovely cottage very bright and plenty of space.

We really enjoyed our stay at Calluna Holiday Cottage. The cottage was very spacious and included everything we needed. On arrival there was a lovely welcome pack. The cottage was very bright and welcoming. There was plenty of lovely walks in the area and plenty to do.

Woodhall Spa village is a 5 minute walk away. Horncastle is a 10 minute drive, with the cathedral city of Lincoln just 30 minutes away by car.

The village boasts a wide selection of traditional shops, including excellent butchers, a fabulous delicatessen as well as a choice of supermarkets. Should you choose to eat out instead then there is a wide selection of restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes. Other attractions include the famous Kinema in the Woods, Jubilee Park and its swimming pool, a farmers market, the Cottage Museum, the memorial to the ‘Dambusters’ of 617sqn and the world famous Hotchkin and Bracken golf courses at Woodhall Spa Golf Club.

The River Witham marks the western edge of the village and an excellent system of cycle tracks can be used to take leisurely rides to Horncastle or Lincoln.
