Orchard Barn is luxurious self catering accommodation, situated just off the South Downs in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Orchard Barn is just a few miles from the historic city of Chichester and many attractions including the Goodwood Estate with its Horse Racing, Festival of Speed and the Revival, the historic Dock yard at Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight to name a few. Orchard Barn is a beautiful converted Sussex flint barn with unique views of the downs and the surrounding area. There are many walks right on your doorstep and some challenging cycle rides for the more adventurous. Outside the barn are two patios with garden tables and chairs and a gas BBQ. Lovely property, ideal for our annual family get together. Well equipped kitchen, lots of comfy sofas and lovely big dining table and chairs.
Great area for lots of walks.
Only downside was the lack of any sort of shower in the two upstairs bedrooms, even hand held would have been welcome.
Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful house in the middle of the countryside. It has everything you could possibly need and Sally is the perfect host.
We definitely hope to return and I will have no hesitation to recommend Orchard Barn to anyone looking for a comfortable home from home in the most beautiful setting.
Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back .
Large barn ideal for family groups
Orchard Barn was absolutely perfect for my birthday celebration weekend with family. There were 4 generations staying and the barn suited us all well. There was lots of space to spread out but also places to come together. We liked being able to choose which of the large tables to eat our meals at, usually eating breakfast and lunch in the sunny kitchen and moving into the main barn for evening meals. My 84 year old mum was very comfortable and safe in her downstairs bedroom with ensuite wet room. My 3 year old grandson loved the space to run around in and play with his remote control car. My husband and I enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen.
Orchard Barn is set in stunning countryside. A walker’s paradise.
Fabulous barn conversion, very nicely furnished and well equipped, we couldn’t fault it. A beautiful setting, with country walks from the door. Wish we had booked for longer.
Thank you for your review, I am glad you enjoyed your weekend and we look forward to welcoming you back.
Very comfortable and spacious barn with well equipped kitchen, wonderfully light yet cosy!
Peaceful and beautiful location with some gorgeous country walks to a couple of great pubs and a quaint little village shop and tearoom. We were very lucky with the weather for the end of October, being able to sit outside in the garden several times and enjoyed some lovely walks on West Wittering’s sandy beaches which are around a forty minute drive away. Sally is a friendly and hospitable host and she even provided flowers, a cake and some bubbles that were chilling on our arrival! Much appreciated.
Thank you for the lovely review. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you back sometime.
The "Barn" and its facilities are really first class. Wonderfully spacious and very well furnished. The outdoor areas were great for kids, dogs and relaxing adults. The surrounding area is iconic Sussex countryside of rolling fields and woodland, and not too far from many good visits eg Arundel, the Witterings, Bosham etc, plus good local pubs
Sally was a lovely host, and we appreciated the wine, sponge cake and flowers.
I think guests do need to be aware that the location is in deep countryside with no immediate shops, etc, and no mobile connection, though there is a landline and wifi. Certainly away from it all!
Overall though, a great week and we certainly recommend Orchard Barn
