We have lived at our country house at La Serendipita Corridonia since 2006 and have added the Treia La Serendipiita to extend our choice for our guests. We have used the last 8 years experience to plan a wonderful holiday home, for our guests and hope they will love Le Marche as much as we do.
It is in a wonderfully scenic borgo with stunning views and offers a taste of real Italy but with every luxury we can think of to make your stay special. We rent to non smokers only so it is uniquely suitable for people with allergies and asthma.
We treat every guest as an individual and offer information for excursions, wine tastings, book ristorante for you, buy opera tickets. We offer those extra touches like a welcome pack with local wines and everything for your first meal when you arrive to providing linen and towels for twice weekly changes, crisp white cotton dressing gowns, picnic basket, beach towels and all those little extras to make life comfortable
We've been all over Italy usually staying in the recognised "tourist traps" but wanted to get an experience of what it would be like to live as Italians live away from those areas The property's location in the lovely town of ?Treia was perfect in this regard. The property is perfect for a couple with every facility you could wish for plus it's own Sauna! The biggest bonus of all was Carole and Brian the owners - nothing was too much trouble and their local knowledge made for some great recommendations - from the 12 course tasting menu up in the hills to a fab wine tasting - both kindly booked for us by Carole and with us having only a limited knowledge of the Italian language that was a massive help If you do visit, listen to everything Carole and Brian tell you - they know where the best Markets are (Macerata) and have personal experience of many local restaurants (all the owners say "ah yes, Carole, we know Carole"! A very comfortable property a lovely town, very friendly local people, Carole as your own tourist guide and provider of some great recipes too - what more could you ask for Loved it all!
We had a wonderful week at La Serendipita in the beautiful town of Treia. This historic house has been carefully restored and beautifully furnished by its owners. To stay there is like staying in an excellent boutique hotel, but with the opportunity to self- cater if that is what you prefer. Every possible need has been thoughtfully anticipated and catered for. Indeed, the table was already beautifully set for our arrival and the awaiting welcome pack was the most generous we have ever received. The owners were extremely welcoming and very informative about restaurants, markets, museums and other 'must see' towns. Our only regret about this holiday was that we had booked it for only one week. It was simply perfetto!
We stayed at La Serendipita, Corrodonia, a small but extremely well equiped and luxurious apartment. A great welcome pack awaited-x3 bottles of wine, beer, cooked chicken, ragu sauce, and loads of bits and pieces.Excellent and much appreciated. Carole, owner, was extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of the region. She recommended restaurants, suggested visits to local markets etc, etc. She took us to her local supermarket and showed us around, giving us tips on local customs. She also arranged for us to visit Saputi Wine producers--great whites and reds and an amazing Spumanti (prosseco type wine but better than most supermarket champagnes in UK and at a fraction of the cost). Would thoroughly recommend this apartment and may well visit Carole and Brian's other property in Treia next year. Thank you both very much!!! Stuart and Ellen Edge,Wrexham, North Wales.
We enjoyed a fantastic two weeks in Treia. So glad we found this property and would highly recommend it. Carole and Brian are extremely helpful. The apartment is exactly as described and the village is an absolute delight. We wished we had longer. There are superb places to visit also, including some on the coast. Be sure to take Carole's advice with regards local restaurants - they're excellent.
Now that we are home, we continue to look at the pictures and remember the lovely visit that we had in Treia and the wonderful stay in this property. From the beginning when I sent a request for information, Carol was prompt and helpful. She and Brian were there to greet us when we arrived and gave us much useful information about the area and about the apartment. It was gratifying and reassuring to know that when booking property online that everything was as it was pictured and described. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed and made it so fun for us to try cooking some of our own meals, as well as enjoying the local cuisine.
We loved exploring the area towns and villages. Our Italian was limited, but everyone was friendly and helpful. Le Marche is not as crowded with tourists as other parts of Italy and that endeared us even more to our stay there.
We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. It really was such a dreamy and special adventure. We wished that we could have stayed longer.
We stayed in Treia for 2 weeks over Aug/Sept ‘14. The property was just as described and the owners had kindly provided us with a welcome pack of food and wine which was greatly appreciated. The apartment was very well appointed, had lovely linens and the bed was very comfortable- an anomaly in Italy where beds are normally closer to sleeping on an ironing board ! Free parking was always available on the street below and the WiFi was excellent. Carole and Brian were gracious and hospitable hosts providing a wealth of local information - this made our stay much more enjoyable. Treia itself was immaculately clean and the locals were very friendly. You won’t be disappointed if you stay!
Village and country= best of both worlds.
Treia has been appointed one of the most beautiful small towns and villages in the whole of Italy. Its stunning walls, gateways and medieval streets make you feel as though you are walking onto a film set. La Serendipita is a three storey house built on the edge of the walls of the citadel with breathtaking views across to the Sibillini mountains. There are too many places worth visiting to list in full here but comprehensive information is in your holiday home together with maps, details of walks in the mountains, a list of the best ristoranti and much more. The international opera festival at Macerata is just a short drive away and there are many festivals throughout the year for local food, wine, music, historical re enactments and sports. La Serendipita provides luxury accommodation for a romantic holiday for couples only. Walking distance to ristornate, shops , bars amd all you need.
