About Sam Brooke - Moyes
We had been visiting Barbados since 1980 and built Warawee in 1993. The small villa was completed in 2000 with parents in mind who spent winters here. Both houses have a traditional feel and look, but European standards. Being keen gardeners we developed this at the same time and it has become a lovely oasis. We retired from business and in our 60's we divided our time between Barbados and a home West Sussex. Barbados to us is England in the sun. Since my husband passed away I have maintained Warawee and regard this very much home. My time is now divided between here, UK and world travel. This is the relax and recover home.

What a wonderful place to stay, fantastic location
We had a great stay at Warawee, the position of the villa is ideal and havin the sole use of the pool at this time was a great bonus. Wendy the house keeper was very friendly and kindly got us food before our arrival, a lovely lady. First time in Babados and would certainly stay at Warawee and will recommend to friends and family too. Many thanks Shirley and Garry X
Thank you, it is always for the staff to receive praise. They do deserve it.
Fantastic, welcoming accommodation
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Warawee and will certainly be returning. The accommodation has everything you need and is well situated for Gibbes and Mullins beaches. We used local buses to travel to Holetown and Speightstown allowing us to travel further afield.
Sam and Wendy were both on hand to provide valuable information on things to see and do. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you.
Garden of Eden Experience
My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay at the "garden villa". The cottage was adorable and it was situated in a beautiful garden of Eden. Cannot wait to return.
We have just returned from a great holiday at Warrawee.
The villa is situated in a wonderfully private & tranquil garden with many different birds and the occasional green monkeys visiting.
It is very clean and well equipped with Wendy, the housekeeper coming in twice a week to clean and change towels and bedding. Wendy is excellent and always on hand to answer any questions or to have a friendly chat with.
Sam, the owner of the property was in the main house during our stay and is a very friendly and charming lady. She made us extremely welcome and we found her knowledge of the island very helpful.
We were glad we used the taxi service recommended to us by Sam, as Patrick was there to meet us at the airport and took us directly to Warrawee, which despite knowing the area, we would have struggled to find in the dark.
If you are seeking a peaceful holiday in a wonderful location, with the beach only a short walk away, Warrawee will be ideal for you.
Sincere thanks to Sam and Wendy for making our holiday so special.
David and Margaret Smith
My husband and I absolutely loved this beautiful villa, it was perfect for two, located in the most delightful tranquil setting just minutes from the beach. The villa itself is very well appointed with absolutely everything you might need for a prolonged stay. We will certainly be booking again when we return to Barbados.
At Warawee we try to exceed expectations and good to hear when we achieve this. It is an oasis and for those seeking
relaxation in nice surroundings the ideal spot.
The perfect location
Barbados does not disappoint and this delightful cottage is no exception. A stones throw from Gibbes bay, which is the best kept secret in Barbados, the location is wonderfully quiet but central for west coast amenities. The cottage is set in the most beautiful tropical garden and is shared by a resident humming bird, other garden birds brimming with character and the occasional green monkey. The cottage is the ideal size for a couple and the new wooden canopy will definitely become your outdoor living room and favourite reading spot. Last but by no means least, Wendy, will look after you superbly.
