About Stéphanie MOORE

In 2017, we will be celebrating 12 years of international guest satisfaction and 12 years of solid relationships with local service providers, who allow us to offer top-notch recommendations--- for restaurants, adventure, and relaxation.

Stéphanie MOORE purchased this farmhouse in 2005

Why Stéphanie MOORE chose Alpilles

Sunshine, long season for outdoor life, very friendly people, historical attraction of the region and of our specific site, proximity to the centre of Saint Rémy de Provence, the advantage of being in the geographical centre of a region with so many attractions as those offered by Provence,... and most certainly, the challenge: first of the restoration project and now of high-quality innkeeping!

What makes this farmhouse unique

We speak lots of languages, know the local customs and understand our clients' expectations. The combination of these three factors can be very powerful!

Inn-keeping at PROVENCE PARADISE is a pleasure. Showing our guests 'where it all came from…starting with Roman ruins,… and how it all got taken down and put back together...' is a source of great pride to our entire PROVENCE PARADISE Team. If you have some/lots of spare time, ask us to show you the photos and tell you our tales! There is a story under almost every rock

June 2014 - "Same as it ever was" - Just GREAT !

  • 5 of 5

Our family just returned home from a truly great week at Provence Paradise.

For 2 of us, this was our 4th year staying at William's "hamlet" and as in all earlier

visits we were always impressed with the personal care William heaped on us from

the arrival dinner, in the fridge, to the daily breakfast pastry delivered to the door.

For the other 4 in our group, this was their first visit to Provence and they loved being at Provence Paradise - both as an excellent base for getting to all the sights in Provence as well as the great pool and, not to forget, the house itself ! They were particularly impressed with the First Night's "ready to eat" dinner - especially the wonderful strawberry cake dessert.

The youngest (ages 6 & 9) loved the pool - even though they have one at their home !

When several difficulties came up: French Train and Air Traffic Controllers strikes, William was at our door, sometimes twice a day, advising us of the latest in the strike situations and alternative travel arrangements we might want to consider.

We plan to DEFINITELY be back next year !

Perfect for extended family - no need to look elsewhere - this is it!!

  • 5 of 5

We chose La Tour for the size, location to town and of course the traditional provencal charm. It had all of this and more. Space was great - especially the bunk beds for the kids. My mum had her own room up stairs with a TV and allowed her privacy and rest time. The staff were great with my 5 year old gluten free needs ensuring every morning she did not miss out on the treats that everyone else were enjoying. We enjoyed the day trips, the cooking class with the other residence was a blast, you must get involved with this. We walked into town, even at night, enjoyed the many restaurant recommendations. We visiting most of the villages close by on day trips and were very impressed with the information session we had on our first morning to ensure we were heading in the right direction. There was a well stocked wine shelf that we utilised daily on our fenced in private terrace and just replaced what we drank on our departure. Used the pool (even in the cold) as the spa was heated. Williams attention to detail make being on holiday really stress free, which travelling with extended family and kids can be. He assisted with train reservations, car hire and went out of his way in getting my mums credit card back from the local supermarket, (which incidentally is the best I have seen around for variety of fresh food and wine). I would suggest you just go ahead and book your time here, prepare to be relaxed, well informed for sight seeing and most of all well looked after for your every need. We look forward to returning. Thank you William and Stephanie.

An Oasis in Provence!

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a one-week stay at La Tour de la Girouette at Provence Paradise. This is truly a perfect oasis in the middle of Provence. Our family of five has rented guests houses here three times already and we cannot wait to return next year.

William and his team are always pleased to offer help and advice. They pay attention to details thus ensuring a wonderful stay, tailored to our family’s particular needs and expectations. This year our children wanted to experience a more active vacation, and William thoughtfully recommended options and booked a kayaking adventure on the Gardon river, flowing right underneath the Pont du Gard. Quite an experience and one of the highlights of our trip!

The great meal that is prepared for us upon our arrival is most welcome, particularly after a long drive on the autoroutes in heavy traffic. This year our daughter was celebrating her 10th birthday while in Provence. William surprised her with a delicious cake, candles and all!

The accommodations are spacious, very comfortable and super clean. Definitely worth a five star rating!

Dear William, Two weeks ...

  • 5 of 5

Dear William, Two weeks in "Paradise" living in La Tour, while the remainder of our family (26 people) stayed in the rest of your beautiful houses was a perfect reunion/vacation! You chose the right name for your wonderful place. Not only is it truly beautiful, but it is in such a peaceful, quiet setting that it helps one to be serene in spite of what might be happening in the outside world or inside oneself. There is so much to enjoy in St. Remy and the surrounding area, and it was always a joy to look forward to returning to our little piece of "Paradise." Your care and consideration for all of us began our days and ended them as well. You were especially thoughtful and helpful to us, and we remain grateful. You have chosen such able and dillegent workers who have the same spirit as you have: Bettina and Olivier are happy when the quests are happy, and like you, they do their best to make your place a true "Paradise". Our stay was a blessing, and we thank you. We look forward to returning again next March, God willing.

Your new friends from Virginia USA.

Owner's Response: We thank George and Pat for their visit, as part of such a large, international group, here together to celebrate a distinguished German lady's Birthday! What an occasion! We were glad to help with those little medical requirements, which can get in the way of a good time....and we were so, so happy to see the results of two weeks in PROVENCE PARADISE on George's blood chemistry results. We want/need you back with us, arriving with the full force of the HELFRICH family, next Spring!

What a fabulous vacation! You have created a truly idyllic home away from home and we can't wait to come back next year! We loved every minute and you made us feel so welcome. We couldn't have asked for more. It was the best holiday we have ever had.

Looking forward to next year all ready!

William: This is indeed ...

William: This is indeed a piece of paradise. EVERYTHING, from the welcoming packet that arrived before I left to come here, to the delicious meal that awaited upon our arrival was perfect. The Vieil Moulin is a wonderfully comfortable of us upstairs and one of us downstairs, each with our own bathroom. The showers are definitely the BEST in France. We had fun making Soupe au Pistou in the kitchen, drinking champagne by the pool with the other guests, and using the last of the croissants and bread you left us each morning to make a last celebratory bread pudding for friends and staff on the last evening. And, as a gardener, I so appreciated the beauty of your flowers that were all through the estate. I cannot wait to return next year. Merci bien for toute votre hospitality! Owner's Response: We were just as happy to have a full-house, including Susie and Jan, for the week, as are crew of international guests were all excited to be here. These ladies are good sports...and great "architechtural consultants" ... We expect to see one or both of you again next Spring!
