Self Contained Annexe in Bransgore (New Forest), Hampshire - Peaceful Location, close to Beaches, Christchurch Harbour
Hi, I am Julie King and I have lived in the New Forest for 17 years with my Husband and two children. Three years ago we decided to build an annexe to our home so that we could provide accommodation to our extended family over Christmas. To make some extra income we have rented our annexe during the year as a holiday let.
What makes this Cottage unique
We love our home and village because we are centrally located for access to the forest, beaches and shopping!

Nice little getaway location just what we needed
Cosy holiday home
Lovely little place, bit snug but perfect for a short break. Well equipped with a full kitchen and comfy chairs. Directions provided were excellent and made it easy to find. Would definitely use again
Ideal for the short break we wanted.
All clean & tidy, but perhaps a little cramped for a longer stay.
Nice clean annexe, quiet and conveniently situated for visiting relations in the area.
The annexe sleeps 4 but we were glad there were only 2 of us - though we do like our own space! Clean, tidy and quiet - we neither heard nor saw the owners next door and had no need to bother them. Plenty of nice wooden hangers which are often lacking in other holiday homes. Maybe we have been spoiled in the past but we were slightly disappointed not to find things like salt and pepper, washing up liquid and pan scourer which are usually provided in other places we have stayed in recent years. The beds were fairly comfortable though, again, not as good as we have found elsewhere. Nice spacious bathroom but men might appreciate a loo seat which stayed up! Overall it was definitely a positive experience and it was good to have shops nearby, a very welcoming Methodist church and a delightful and reasonably priced pub - The Crown - just down the road.
Ideal base to explore the new forest.
The property is modern and clean and is situated close to the village shops, as well as being ideally close to both the Forest and the coast. The owners keep their distance but are very helpful if/ when needed.
The property may feel like a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults, but we found it to be a lovely, cosy space for our family of 3 and we would definitely consider coming back another time.
Lovely little annex, host very accommodating.
Just what we needed at the time. Could do with a few littke extra touches (basic condiments, tea, soap etc) to take it to the next level.
