About elisa sertorio
First of all an explanation! As you saw, the owner has a name, Luca Raggi, and it's true. But the lines below describe a piece of my life and my feelings. I am Elisa and I am your contact, Luca is my children's dad and our tax representative too, this is the reason why you see him as account) and with him and my second husband Riccardo, pictured with me , we have completed this great project. The house, dating back to the XVI century, is completely restored with care and love for the past. A job lasted five years, meeting all kinds of difficulties... the opportunity to publish the pictures you just saw, is a source of pride and great satisfaction for all our family, but especially for me, I confess. The project was so exciting to inducing me - executive in a big company - to radically change my working life. A good result I think, but what an effort! I worked hard to get it, but now the dream of my life is reality. I love so much this place, (I got married with Luca here, in the family castle that you see on left ), than I have shifted a bit of my passion into the home walls . Hope you feel what I mean if you stay here some days!

Why elisa sertorio chose Alassio
The house belongs to my family for over one hundred years. The best point of our property is just its fantastic nature around us and to the" tableau vivant" that the sea view offers every day. It's really unique. The house, just 5,5 km from the coast, takes away the heat and the crowds of summer months and gives the feeling of having the sea in the countryside.
What makes this Villa unique
You 'll find here comfort, charming simplicity, peace and quiet. This enchanting place allows you to be physically active and mentally relaxed. You can game golf at Garlenda Club, play tennis at Hanbury Tennis Club Alassio, swim, trek... The recent restoration of the house has been a real love job, centered (also) on the reuse of materials: stone- discovered under the old plaster - original terracotta paving, chestnut wood for the ceilings. All that, combined with the attention to detail, sets an unforgettable charming mood. Never fails the peaceful at the house whenever you like. So near to downtown and so far from Summer mess.

Gorgeous property with a unique spa and amazing views. Wonderful owners who went out of their way to be helpful and hospitable.
We loved the stay in this villa.
Very clean, everything to use .
Super view from the terrace near the house and at the swimming pool you can make pizza or use the big bbq.
You dont need to go somewhere just stay and relax!
We loved the swimming pool with starheaven light.
Be aware of the contribution for using everything in & around the house incl cleaning costs to pay cash at check out.
Quaint property with a great view.
From reading reviews and looking at photographs of the property was very much as we expected.
The owners Ricardo and Elisa were very accommodating, pleasant and helpful.
It was very hot when we were there and the covered spa was a very nice and a big relief from the heat during the day. The only issue we had was that the house was very hot at night and we would have liked to have had some fans in the bedrooms to help us sleep better.
Alsssio as a town was very crowded and parking was very difficult. Elisa did give us some very useful hints about where to go to avoid the crowds.
A nearby restaurant just down the hill, recommended by Elisa was fabulous.
Excellent stay! Perfect place if you dont mind the drive up. Gorgeous views and excellent accomodations
Superb house on the heights of Alassio for 8 peopl
The house is perfectly located 15' from Alassio, in a quiet environment.
The garden is very well maintained, the swimming pool is very pleasant and the view is superb!
We were 4 adults and 4 children and the house is perfectly adapted.
We will be happy to come back.
I recommend this house especially since Elisa and Ricardo, the owners, are charming.
Villa La NiCChia
Villa La NiCChia is, without any doubt, the best holiday property that my friends and I have ever rented. A tastefully renovated large old stone house, full of character, it is a pleasure to stay in. The living room and bedrooms are very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The two spacious bathrooms are excellently equipped. The kitchen is large and full of everything that could possibly be required. Linen, towels, mattresses, crockery, cutlery, glasses and so on are of high quality. From a terrace with a dining table and chairs under a canopy in front of the villa there are wonderful views down to the Ligurian coast. The villa’s extensive grounds are exceptional. A lawn slopes down to a pleasant spa building with an indoor pool. At night the grounds are alive with fireflies. Trees and vines ensure complete privacy and tranquillity. It is a marvellously peaceful place to relax. Located a fifteen minute or so drive up into the hills behind Alassio – a seaside resort of considerable charm and with an interesting history - the villa is approached up a road that is very narrow in places and has some sharp bends. This makes for a challenging drive that would be daunting to anyone unaccustomed to driving in Italy. But, once at the villa, the benefits of its situation – quietness, space, panoramic views of the thickly wooded countryside and the distant Mediterranean - are outstanding. Its friendly owners, Elisa and Riccardo Sertorio, are helpful and discreetly unintrusive. A very special, highly-recommended place.
5.5 km far from nearest beach. Over 100 bathing establishments, to choose along the coast. It is enough to consider its geographical position, the expansion of its beach, the possibility to swim from march to November, the shallow depth, the gentleness of its climate through the whole year. Alassio must be regarded as one of the best beaches in the world. The strand with its very fine grey-white dustless sand stretches over 4 km to join the seaside of wonderful Laigueglia.
Alassio 5,5km drive, Albenga 12,8km, San Remo 38km, Montecarlo 97km. Car essential.

The tourist history of Alassio is closely connected to its climate. Very thorough studies have compared the climate of the picturesque bay of Alassio to that of another pearl of Italian tourism, Amalfi. In fact both the coast and hilly belt are exposed to the South, a crown of mountains protects it from the northerly winds: that is why Alassio enjoys the typical Mediterranean maritime climate which is pleasant and mild, with annual range of about 15 degrees, average winter temperature of about 10 degrees and summers refreshed by marine breezes with temperatures around 25 degrees. It is above all due to its favourable climate that Alassio, towards the end of the 18th century, became among the first Italian towns to receive tourism from Europe. As time went by, the first wealthy English families who started this trend were replaced by a crowd of tourists coming from all over the world, as the latest statistics on the tourist flux show. The biggest shopping center of Liguria is the “Budello” of Alassio, the ancient alley stretching across the whole town, parallel to the sea front.Along both sides are the best shops of the Western Riviera with their latest ideas and fashions: from the most modern “griffe”, to the most precious antiques and traditional tastes. You'll find here. 24 Restaurants, 10 Supermakets, 10 Banks and more and more.
