The apartment has 3 large double bedrooms and a seperate kitchen. The living area / dining room is large and modern and has wonderful views of the sea. There is a private terrace, which can be covered, with another dining area and sun loungers for private sun bathing. The terrace is South facing and has the sun all day. The property is just a 5 minute stroll through the harbour to all amenities, sea front restaurants and a blue flag beach. Gran Tarajal is unspoilt by tourism and has the charm and elegance of a typical fishing village. It's a truly authentic village with steep lanes leading down to the seafront

We are the family Van Bogerijen. Mark, Sandra, Olivia and Emily. We moved to France in May 2007 and have lived here since, after living all our previous lives in the UK. We have two properties for rental. 1) The villa in France is a new build. It is modern in terms of build and decoration but we think the best feature is its location and the views. You have panoramic views from the pool, the terrace, the barbecue area and from every window in the house. (2) The apartment in Fuerteventura is also new build and the quality of the fixtures and fittings is excellent. The view of the sea and mountains are amazing. We soon realised though that it also gets cold in France in the winter so we wanted an option for winter sun. Therefore we bought in Fuerteventura, we are not normally impulsive but he minute we saw the apartment we bought it!
What makes this Apartment unique
We the love the peace and quiet. The views of the ocean and the mountains are lovely and we love to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The build design ensures you maximise views but ensure privacy. The pool, gymnasium and facilities are excellent. We also like to engage in the Canarian culture and often wander down through the marina to the many restaurants on the sea front. We enjoy the local dish of goat stew or fried kid with bottle of Rioja or of course we love fresh fish and Canarian potatoes.

Spacious apartment with stunning views.
We loved this apartment, it had everything you could have wished for, stunning views, wonderful large terrace, perfect layout of rooms. The complex had its own pool which was always peaceful and quiet. Everywhere was immaculately clean and the pool was cleaned everyday.
We loved the local town, an array of restaurants along the promenade with lots of choice. It had a lovely charm about the place, if you want a night life this is not the place for you, and we loved it for that reason. Everyone was so friendly, added bonus the drinks were so very reasonable.
We hired a car and travelled north to see the sunset and beaches. Beautiful days exploring around el collito and Corraljo (the road to sand dunes were cut off due to filming of Wonder Woman!) none the less this was worth a visit, the golden sands were a nice contrast to the darker sands at Gran Tarjal.
We would definitely return to this apartment, the hosts Mark and Sandra were quick in answering all enquiries and any issues were dealt with in a timely manner.
If you want a super chilled holiday, in a lovely accommodation, stunning views, with local shops on your doorstep and a very quiet beach ... this is for you!

Amazing property! Very clean, very spacious and very well equipped.
We absolutely loved this property and this area of Fuerteventura. The apartment is set up perfectly for outdoor living. The rooms are very spacious. We stayed for a week and wish we'd made it longer. If I was being really picky, I'd have liked a full size mirror and door stops to keep the doors open and allow a breeze to flow through. It was very hot during our stay. This really is a beautiful apartment and having a washing machine was a huge advantage. Great pool, which never got busy and anyway there are plenty of sunbeds. The Gym was a great bonus too! Its about a 15 minute walk into town past the harbour. The restaurants around the sea front are really wonderful. We particularly enjoyed Da Nonnas and Shivram Indian restaurant. As a vegetarian, I never struggled for something to eat and always plenty of choice for me. There's a restaurant along the front that sells pizza by the meter. We had the half meter which was plenty for lunch for the 4 of us and absolutely delicious. The Sunday market at Caleta de Fuste is worth a visit as is the oasis Zoo. Make sure you wear proper footwear as the ground has tiny stones not suitable for sandals. Gran Tarajal definitely hasn't been taken over by tourism yet and hopefully won't. It is a lovely town. Definitely need a hire car to get from the airport, which is about 40 minutes and getting around. There is a large hypermarket in town and a smaller both are well stocked and reasonably priced. Our breakfasts were delicious. There's a lovely bakery in town on the one way system heading towards the apartment. Plenty of opportunities to practice my spanish, which is not great, but the locals were very helpful. We really loved it here and hope to return soon.

It was so funny because we totally agreed about the requirement for a long mirror and the door stoppers. We've did a makeover of bedroom three and installed a full length mirror. We've also purchased some door stoppers which allows the cool breeze to flow through the apartment without the risk of a door slamming !!

Lovely flat with great view
We had a great time, the flat is really nice and well well furnished. The terrace is huge and the see view is amazing. Gran tarajal is a cute city, not too touristy which is nice. We had a lovely stay.

Wonderful apartment in a Spanish town
The previous reviews say it all.This is a wonderful clean and comfy apartment with indoor and outdoor seating and dining tables.
All answers from the owner to my initial enquiry and subsequent confirmation of booking and payment were received by return. The information on the apartment, resort contact details and the surrounding area, emailed to us prior to our holiday, covered everything we required.
During our stay the toilet in the bathroom, there's a second one in the cloakroom, developed a fault so we reported it to one of the management team and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Excellent service. We didn't use the washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave or iron but they are there for those that require them.
There's a good bus service if you wish to explore a little without hiring a car.
To sum it up everything in Gran Tarajal is low key. There's a choice of restaurants, including Indian and Chinese, and cafes along the beach but none of the usual shops aimed at the tourist. No large hotels or loud music. Just a few tourists and a lot of locals enjoying the November sunshine. We loved it.

You can see a rocky beach from the terrace but there is a blue flag beach is just 5 mins walk through the harbour. Fuerteventura is well known for its beautiful golden sandy beaches and the apartment is well situated to visit the best just South at Costa Carma
Property is located just 30 mins drive for the airport.
5 mins walk (through the harbour) to beach, restaurants and local amenities in the town. 5 minutes drive to Las Playitas which has golf course, olympic sized swimming pool and access to all water sports.
Fuerteventura basically has over 300 days of sunshine a year. The second largest of the Canarian islands but it is the least populated and the least developed in terms of tourism. The beaches are simply the best and likened to those of the Caribbean.
The island still has the authentic feel with small untouched fishing villages. Food lovers should try the local delacacies of fresh goat meat or, of course, freshly caught fish with seasonable vegetables and Canarian style potatoes. There are also some very nice Rioja's and dry white wines
