The level terrain around the village makes it very pleasant to stroll or cycle around and a 15 minute ramble or 2 minute drive will take you to the local unspoilt beach and coastline. Guests have exclusive use of the pool and spa facilities including jaccuzzi, sauna, steam room, gym. The spa also offers specialist beauty treatments and therapy's which can be purchased and booked in the spa. The local Tavernas and restaurants now offer a selection of dining options, served up in a relaxed atmosphere, so you may not feel the need to stray too far.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment boasts full air-conditioning/heating plus free standing portable fan. Also includes iron/ironing board. Professional hairdryer, two luxury bathrobes in master bedroom and one in the guest/twin bedroom. TV/DVD/ in guest/twin bedroom, cool bag and picnic ware set for pool or beach. beach chairs, parasol, beach mats, portable BBQ and four beach towels, two in each bedroom. We have provided a good selection of CDs DVDs and books. All the patio doors and windows are space saving easy slide to open, tinted glass helps keep cooler in the heat of summer. All the details and information you need regarding the accommodation in the apartment and for Aphrodite Sands resort are in our full colour brochure which we will send to you on receipt of your deposit. It also has lots of glossy pics and ideas on things to do. Outside: The apartment has a beautifully furnished private balcony offering views over the pools and gardens and to the Mediterranean, enjoy the al-fresco lifestyle and balmy evenings in the wonderful year round climate of Cyprus. With large rattan style circular dining table and 4 comfortable chairs, in addition there are two armchairs, two seat sofa and coffee table in dark rattan style. The balcony has outside lighting or enjoy a candle lit evening with your favourite tipple.The resort boasts two wonderful large pools surrounded by sun terraces with complimentary sunbeds and parasols to soak up the sun, enclosed by the beautifully landscaped gardens with views to the shimmering Mediterranean sea. At the side of the pools steps lead you down into the sanctuary of the luxury spa and gym, with everything you need for total relaxation and lots of pampering. If you're feeling energetic hit the gym which has all the latest state of the art equipment and periodically runs various fitness classes. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen and towels including 4 beach towels are included, also two luxury bathrobes are provided for master bedroom, the apartment is cleaned once weekly if you require a change of linen and towels in mid stay there will be a small charge for this. Other: The dining area has solid wood dining table with 4 directors chairs. The large balcony table also has seating for 4 giving you eight dining chairs which you can mix and match inside or out. All the chairs are lightweight and easily moved around.

Brilliant Apartment

This was our second visit to Lee's apartment and we where not disappointed,

it was clean and in excellent condition. The location is good and in easy walking distance to the sea and restaurants. The swimming pool was lovely - and cleaned regularly. We were left a welcome pack which meant we didn't need to rush out to the shops. Overall an excellent apartment in a good position of which we would be more than happy to return to

Perfect place for a chilled holiday!

We had a lovely week in this apartment. It's well equipped and perfectly placed to walk into the village of Mandria or explore nearby villages. The facilities are excellent in the resort also which makes for a very relaxing holiday. We would definitely book again and really appreciated the effort the owners made to ensure our stay was as good as it could be. Thanks again for your efforts!

Lovely apartment in a great location

We were looking for a smart apartment a short stroll from tavernas & shop for a relaxing break and we were not disappointed. The property was very well equipped although with the local tavernas serving such great food we ate out every day. The swimming pools were excellent and never crowded and we found the poolside area a joy to spend time around (no noisy organised activities etc). Our favourite place to eat was the Kentpoikon taverna on the main square which was excellent value for money with friendly service, especially the Sunday buffet which at €13 is a must. Mandria is not in our opinion the place for a beach holiday as it is a fairly long walk (25 minutes with very little shade) and really not worth the effort once you get there but as we said the excellent pools at the apartment meant this was not an issue for us. We found the village shop adequate for most things (bread, honey, yoghurt etc) but for fresh fruit, veg and a wider selection of goods should you be cooking, a larger supermarket about 25 minutes level walk away was the place to head for. We only went once as a long way to carry heavy shopping bags and just how much water melon can one eat in a week! Mandria is a location where you do not need a car, we didn't, but useful if you are staying longer than a week or wish to explore further afield. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate in recommending Lee & Jane's lovely apartment - we will certainly use it again.

The old saying "it does what it says on the tin"can not be more true. What you see on the photo's is what you get. Superb accommodation with everything you need to make your holiday special. The owners have thought of everything. You wake refreshed and sit on the spacious balcony to have breakfast, not overlooked but in a commanding position on the site that gives you wonderful views of the garden and pool area. The gym suited me to the ground and the staff were warm and friendly. Many thanks to the owners for making our holiday special. We will be back ......

We have had a great holiday with many thanks to the owners Lee and Jane.

Every detail and description given was exactly as it was. The property is in first class condition overlooking the pools. It was very well maintained, clean and on arrival the welcome pack and flowers were a lovely gesture. It had all the facilities of home from home.

Lee and Jane help when booking cannot be faulted, it was excellent. E Mails were replied too very quickly and our questions were never too much trouble for them to answer.

Even questions regarding flights, car and boat hire were answered very quickly. The brochure supplied giving details of the complex layout and all other details for a perfect holiday was excellent.

The on site management team were also very friendly, helpful and answered any questions that we asked.

I would certainly recommend this property to our relatives and friends looking for a holiday in Cyprus.

Special interest holidays:

There is so much more to Cyprus than just the fantastic climate, and if you are looking for other interests you may be surprised at what you can get up to. For serious walking you can explore the European long distance path E4 which covers most of the island. Cyprus is also perfect for Diving having one of the longest dive seasons in the Med due to the high sea temperatures. If you have a car for your trip you may wish to follow the many designated wine routes a great way to see the rural areas and of course taste some of the local product. How about something on 2 wheels, you can hire mountain and road bikes at reasonable rates supplied with all the equipment you need. You may just fancy exploring the local area which is not too strenuous or go for something extreme you can book a professional tour which will again take you through some great locations not accessible by other means. Add to the list skiing in the winter months in the mountains there really is something for everyone.


The natural and unspoilt local beach at Mandria is only a few minutes easy walk, or just a 2 minute drive. The beach is made up of coarse sand and pebbles, there are limited facilities but it is peaceful. You will need transport to get to other beaches including Paphos where there are a few beaches in the area known as Kato Paphos. Other beaches to visit, Coral bay to the West and Pissouri to the East are approx a half hour drive. Within a 1hr drive are Polis and Latchi all have good beaches.


The new Paphos international airport is only ten minutes by car/taxi from the resort so car hire is not essential but would recommend if you want to explore the Island. The local bus runs everyday except Sunday from Mandria into Paphos. Larnaca airport is approx 90 minutes drive. Taxi transfer can be arranged at preferential rates for our guests, ask us for more details.


Paphos Airport 6kms (10 minutes) Paphos town 9kms. Nicosia (Lefkosia) approx 140kms. Limassol (lemesos) approx 65kms. Larnaka approx 130kms.

Further Details:

Mandria village has two kiosks and a mini market, you can get most essentials here. The nearest full supermarket is just outside the village on the main road taking around 5 minutes to drive or you can walk in approx 20/25 minutes. Mandria has 4 tavernas and a fish and chip restaurant/takeaway, there is also a cafe bar. The nearest petrol station is just outside the village at the main road junction which also has a pre-payment facility so you can fill up even when closed. As the village and the surrounding area is so flat you may consider hiring bikes which is great fun and could be an alternative to hiring a car. There is a bike hire kiosk in the village square. When you have confirmed your booking for the apartment with a deposit we will send you our full colour brochure which has all the details of the apartment lots of glossy pics plus lots of other info about Aphrodite Sands resort including map of the village and driving directions. All our guests will receive a complimentary welcome pack with all the immediate essentials for your arrival and a little something to help you start your holiday.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible, Complimentary to our guests we only ask you to vacate the apartment at a specific time on your last day if we need time to clean before the next arrival and we will notify you before your holiday. Usual departure 12.00pm.
