About Emma Dixon
Waves is owned by Emma Dixon. I manage & market the apartment myself, as well as running my own business. Emma owns Blue Sea, a marketing & project management company specialising in holiday home marketing and the renovation of holiday homes in the South Hams, and a mother of 1. We moved to South Devon over 14 years ago and with beautiful beaches on our doorstep, and the town of Dartmouth nearby, with it's excellent local restaurants, centuries-old pubs, bistros & cafes to enjoy as well as exclusive boutiques & galleries to shop in, we wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
Emma Dixon purchased this Apartment in 2009
Why Emma Dixon chose Stoke Fleming
We love Stoke Fleming because of the fantastic facilities in the area. We are located in the centre of this popular coastal village, just a 10-min walk to the award-winning Blackpool Sands Beach. The village boasts a shop & post office, a pub, and a restaurant. Stoke Fleming is in an area of outstanding natural beauty & is close to beautiful cliff top paths with magnificent views, & is on the South West Coast Path. It is a just a 5-min drive from the Historic Port Of Dartmouth. Stoke Fleming is the perfect village for both families, & for couples, as it can feel both the perfect hideaway, as even in the height of summer the village doesn't feel busy, with the benefit of being able to walk to all the essential amenities needed whilst on your holiday.

Clean and comes with everything you would want
Great apartment which a nice balcony, loads of dvds to watch and even loads of old school vhs! Very comfy beds and good shower. Would recommend to all.
Thanks for the great review Connan and glad you have enjoyed staying at Waves.
The ground floor accommodation was most generous and whilst the bedrooms were more compact, they were perfectly adequate for a holiday break.
The level of equipment provided was excellent, the only downside being the TV controls which took a while to master.
Overall, thoroughly pleased and would have no hesitation in recommending.
Stay at Waves - August 2017
We had a wonderful week at Waves, helped by great beach weather, the whole time we were there. The property is ideally situated and the quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, equipment and decor. We'd like to thank Emma for making our stay so enjoyable. Places to visit? - Blackpool Sands is a must and a lovely walk using the old road which starts at the church in the village. Totnes, quirky but great! River boat rip from Dartmouth was a good way to see the town and estuary from a different perspective. Highlight however was the walk around Start Point including the lighthouse - superb views of the bay plus seals on the rocks. Green Dragon pub good value food and drink, however was disappointed with the Queens Arms at Slapton, waited an age for our food and somewhat patronising staff. Great fish and chips at Radius 7 opposite Waves.
Ideally placed apartment
The apartment is spacious clean and light and ideally placed for exploring the South Hams. There is a Blue Flag beach within walking distance as well as a good pub, restaurant and local shops. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!
Es war alles da, was man im Urlaub benötigt.
Sehr sauber und gemütlich.
Nette Pubs im Ort. 5 min (Auto) bis zum nächsten Strand.
Great apartment in a fantastic location
We had a really great stay in Emma's apartment. It was comfortable stay for our family of 4, well equipped and the location is spot on. We loved the fact we could walk to Blackpool Sands and it is conveniently situated close to all the other places we like to visit when in Devon, such as Salcombe and Dartmouth. There is also a nice restaurant right across from the apartment which was very convenient.
Emma left us with a welcome pack on arrival, which included bread, butter, milk and a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. We also appreciated the information folder which contained suggestions on places to visit and recommended restaurants.
We would definitely recommend Emma's apartment and would look to rebook in the future.
