Approximately 3 miles from Field View Mistle there is a park and ride facility which ensures stress free entry into the historic City of York hosting an abundance of attractions to include the Jorvik Viking Centre, National Railway Museum, art galleries, The Minster and Museum, boat trips on the Ouse and an excellent selection of shops, Cafe/bars and restaurants. Field View Mistle is an excellent base for you to visit the breathtaking countryside of the North York Moors, Dales, coastline and market towns.

Approximately 1 hours drive and you can visit the coast of Whitby, Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and also small fishing villages like Robin Hoods Bay and Runswick Bay with safe clean sandy beaches.
Leeds/Bradford Airport 1 hour by car. Hull Port 1 hour by car. York Railway Station 15 mins by car or bus.
10 miles away is the small market town of Easingwold. York Racecourse is 6 miles. The White Horse and Rievaulx Abbey are 15 miles. Within approx 20/25 mile radius you can visit Knaresborough, Harrogate, Ripon, Fountains Abbey, James Herriot Museum at Thirsk, Dalby Forest, Lightwater valley Theme Park, Flamingoland and Castle Howard.
Field View Mistle is situated in this small peaceful rural village of Shipton-by-Beningbrough. In the village there is The Dawney Arms Pub and The Siding Restaurant, both do an excellent range of food. Nearest shop is 1 mile away and 3 miles away is Tesco Super Store and Petrol Station. Within a couple of miles there is the River Ouse lovely for a walk or cycle ride, Linton Locks and Beningbrough Hall.
