Lovely 2 bedroom maisonette with communal pool set in a quiet area of Mandria in Zephyros Village 1. It is an ideal spot for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a typical friendly Cypriot village environment, but with the main tourist attractions only a short drive away. The maisonette is fully equipped with everything you should need for a great self catering holiday. The maisonette is complete with air conditioning and consists of 2 bedrooms, both with walk in on-suite showers, one has a large balcony with table/chairs patio door. The large living area is open plan with a relaxing double sofa bed, TV/ DVD player for all your family's entertainment, plus WiFi and digital tv which has all UK channles, movies, news and tv catch so you do not miss your favourite programes. The dining table seats 4, bearing in mind most eating is done elfresco outside where thier is more than enough table and seating.. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons that you would find in your own home, although dining out in the local tavernas is a must! There is a terrace/garden and barbeque for alfresco dining or relaxing with a large glass of your favourite tipple after a long day discovering the delights of Cyprus.

About Mrs S Waltham-Stephenson

Pete and myself Sandie live in Worcester England , we have two golden retrievers and a horse which keeps us active. We fell in love with Cyprus when we went on our first holiday to Paphos in September 2004 the following year we spent our honeymoon their and have been back every year, its a beautiful Island and the locals are so friendly and make you welcome. This inspired us to to take it one step further and start looking for a place for ourselves and family to enjoy. We purchased Sandreter in October 2007 and took possession of the property in June 2009 and spent three weeks furnishing the property to a high spec and making it into a very welcoming holiday home. We are very proud of Sandreter and welcome people to take the opportunity to enjoy Sandreter as much as we do. The property is close to all amenities.

Why Mrs S Waltham-Stephenson chose Paphos & Suburbs

We chose Mandria for its beauty and charm. The property is located just a 5 minute walk from the very charming and traditional village of Mandria. The maisonette is just a 15 minute drive from Paphos and more or less the same to the two golf courses Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills. The airport is 8 minute drive from the house. So no long hauls from and to the airport. The area is very flat around the village, maisonette and to the beach so accessibility and getting around is not a problem and very good for mobility purposes. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with orange groves and farmland surrounding the village and down to the beach, if you love walking the area offers so much. The area also attracts bird watchers from all over. We like Mandria because its not commercial and offers everything for a peaceful tranquil setting. The restuarants in the village are varied with three Cypriot restuarants the famouse chip shop and a Thai/chinese/Indian restuarnat which is new to the village called Karma.

What makes this villa unique

The property is a convenient five minute stroll to the village and a ten minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach. Its location is ideal for if you just want to potter around or go site seeing its close to Paphos and the Harbour the coastal road and the motorway if you want to explore further. Its approx an hour from Troodos Mountains and 2 hours from Nicosia. The property is ideal for anyone who has a mobility problem, the surrounding area is flat and access to the property can be through the front patio door and their is a large sofa bed in the lounge. The pool is a a very good size and their is also a paddling pool, surrounding the pool is large sun terraces and pool side showers, their are also changing rooms and toilets down some stairs next to the pool.

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Sandreter for 10 nights in early May 2011 for what proved to be a fantastic holiday. The property is part of a new complex situated in the quaint village of Mandria which is only a five minute walk. The property is well presented its modern and comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped with every thing you need plus their is a barbecue provided. The pool is close by and loungers are provided. Overall we were extremely pleased with what the house offered. We will be revisiting Tom & Lou Balham London

Cot with linen and high chair available on request at a small extra charge. WiFi available The stairs are wide and turn going up so easy to manage. The property is ideal for the more mature or pensioners for long term rents through out the winter months, with the village being a few minutes walk away! Outside: The property offers a front terrace with views over the pool, plus table/parasol and 4 chairs plus 2 loungers, which can be taken to the poolside. The front patio door opens into the lounge for easy access. To the rear their is a further terrace with sea views and patio/garden with garden table and chairs with parasol, their is a barbecue provided. On the rear terrace their is a further table with 2 chairs. Their is also a table and chairs on the balcony off the first bedroom (with pool view). The views to the sea from the back of the house are lovely and not interupted as you just look over fields! The house is fully fitted with shutters/fly screens and the back door also has a fly screen door. The very generous shared swimming pool is straight across from the house and offers huge sun terraces, showers and down stairs toilets and changing rooms. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and the property is pre let cleaned and fresh towels are provided. Linen and house clean can be provided through out your stay at extra cost. Other: Thier is a very handy and generous size downstairs toilet with wash basin

Sandreter, Mandria

Sandreter is truly a home from home and perfect for families and couples alike. The home is very clean and has everything that you could possibly require for a self-catering holiday. The property also benefits from good quality furnishings, wifi and British TV channels (although with the Village centre so close we were not in many evenings to watch TV). There are fly screens/shutters fitted to all windows and patio doors, resulting in no mosquito bites on this visit to Cyprus and we could sleep with the windows open meaning we did not need to use the air conditioning much at all. The communal pool is directly opposite the property and is clean and well maintained, although we didn't use it as we prefer the beaches. Overall we got good value for money for the two weeks that we booked and would have no hesitation in recommending the property to others. We would definitely book it again in the future.

The owners Sandie and Pete provided first class customer service in the lead up to the start of our holiday, providing local directions, access arrangements, wifi connection and provided for a few groceries (at our request) to get us off to a good start following a very late arrival.

We encountered a few minor communications issues with the Owners Direct website sending us several messages asking us to confirm our booking which we had already done and paid for by Visa, however a quick email to Sandie resulted in her calling us to put our minds at rest and confirm that all was fine. The new payment method (Visa) provides additional security for Customers.

Mandria is a lovely quiet village and the local people and ex Pats that we met were all very friendly and helpful. The property is only a short walk to the village centre where you will find a good selection of tavernas and restaurants to enjoy great food (very large portion sizes!) and drink at very reasonable prices. There is a pebble beach just 10 minutes walk from the property where you can find sunbeds, parasols and a small beach bar. However we preferred the beaches at Geriskipou and Pissouri Bay which are both sandy and approx. 15 mins drive away. Paphos airport is only 10 minutes drive from Madria which is convenient, although you will hear some aircraft noise as a result. It is not too bad most days with a bit more air traffic on Wednesdays and Fridays which are the busiest days, although it certainly didn't spoil our holiday in Mandria.

Beautiful house in stunning location

The maisonette was absolutely beautiful. Tastefully decorated throughout with all mod cons including WiFi, air conditioning and satellite TV. The front garden overlooked the swimming pool and the rear garden had stunning views including the sea. The property was immaculate and kept to a very high standard. The location was perfect for us, the village was a 2 minute walk with a choice of restaurants and local village shop. The local people were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The beach was a 15 minute walk away. The swimming pool was directly opposite and of a very high standard, our 7 year old never wanted to get out! We will definitely be returning and we had an amazing holiday here and highly recommend this property. In a word, perfection.

Great place

Many thanks to Sandie and Pete for the use of their lovely home from home. Easy to find with a pleasant walk into the village for food in the evenings if you don't want to go far, and plenty of places to visit for good food if you have a car to potter around in. Their home has all you need and is lovely and quiet, really relaxing holiday. We would highly recommend going to Sandie and Petes. Thanks guys

We were recommended this house by a friend and was not disapointed .Home from home and everything we needed was provided . House was clean and immaculate .If you are looking for a relaxing quiet holiday this is perfect .Village 5 minute walk away with tavernas great food and friendly locals .Idilic beach 10 to 15 minute walk away with beach bar .Having not met the owners sandie and pete they could,nt do enough for you..i.e..e.mails,phone calls,txts,to make sure your holiday got off to a good start. fallen in love with this place an hopefully will be back..big thank you to sandie an pete for sharing your beautiful home.

Great place

This is the second time staying at this fantastic home,which is lovely.It is a great home from home,very clean beautiful furniture just a great place to stay with everything you need. Lovely outside space to sit and relax and enjoy the great weather.

This is a very quiet place but you walk to all the small places to eat which i will say are ALL great places,not over expensive at all.Great fish & chips but all portions at all the places are huge,you will never be hungry once you have eaten.

The local shop is abit more expensive but local supermarkets are all good.I would suggest a hire car so you can explore the local beaches etc. Coral bay is just lush lots of interesting places to go.

I would highly recomend this house to rent,its a FANTASTIC place to stay.

My friends & I loved this property, & will be returning in September. Sandreeter is spacious, well equipped & ideally situated for both the village, with it's tavernas & the beach which are a short walk away, in different directions. It felt like a home from home & I would highly recommend a stay in this townhouse. Mandria is about 10 mins drive from Paphos airport with easy access to the island wide motorway. Paphos town is a 20 minute drive away but there is a good bus service, 613, which runs daily from Paphos harbour to Aphrodites Rock with a stop at the village entrance. Sandie, the owner has been very helpful with any enquiries that I had.

Special interest holidays:

Sports available are golf, snorkelling, Olympic swimming pool, go carting, water park, horse riding, fishing, jet skies (in Paphos) motor and speed boat hire, quad biking, cycling, skiing (low season) cruises, bird watching. Mandria is known for its peanut fields (which are in view from the rear garden)and has its own peanut festival on the last weekend in September. Also there is a turtle breeding beech not far from Paphos.


The beach is a good ten minute walk from the maisonette. The beach is still in its very natural state and does have toilet and shower facilities with public picnic area. A car can be driven straight down to the beach front as well. There is a small beach bar and lifeguard.


Paphos airport is an 8 minute drive from the house and Larnaca airport is about 2 hours. Car hire is recommended. Their are buses that run from Mandria to Pahos on a regular basis


Paphos is a 15 minute drive. Laranca approx 2 hours and Aiya Napa approx 2 1/2 hours drive. Troodos mountains approx 2 hours. Polis approx 40 minutes. Geroskipi (Nick Faldo design) is 8/10 minutes drive and Secret Valley and Aphrodite Golf courses are 10 and 15 minutes drive respectively.

Further Details:

The village of Mandria with its 5 restaurants and 2 shops with a bank and hairdresser is a 5 minute walk from the house. The area is flat and suitable for mobility. The water splash, crazy golf are 10 minutes away. The house is very close to 3 major golf/competition courses being Geroskipi Golf Course designed by Nick Faldo and only just been opened by Nick Faldo in 2011, also Secret Valley and Aphrodite Golf courses, these golf courses are stunning with equaly matched golf club/restuarants and only a short drive from the house.
