Apartment on Las Terrazas Golf Resort, Costa Calida, Magnificent Views, Quiet Location

A luxury, two bedroom second floor apartment, on this new gated, Jack Nicklaus designed, golf resort with 24 hour security.

The apartment is fully furnished with air-conditioning in all the bed rooms and living area. The large, south facing, covered terrace overlooks the golf course, large garden (ideal for children playing under supervision) and communal swimming pool and is fitted out with luxury outdoor furniture.

The terrace has direct access to the living area and main bedroom.

The resort is located just 15 minutes away by car from the famous inland sea of Mar Menor and its beautiful unspoilt beaches. Las Terrazas is easily accessible from Murcia-San Javier and Alicante airports.

We have three bicycles at your disposal at your own risk; a gents, ladies & childs, which are located on the ground floor beside the stairs. Helmets, high visibility vests, lights and bicycle pump are all available.

All we ask is that you leave them as you find them, i.e.; locked & covered.

There are 3 sets of golf clubs, with caddy cars, in the apartment; 2 gents (Titleist & MD) and 1 ladies (Ram), which are also available for guest use at no extra charge saving on the expense of bringing your own by air. There are plenty of golf balls too and don’t worry if you loose a few.

There is also a very comprehensive selection of CDs & DVDs in the Apartment for your enjoyment together with a mini library for your reading pleasure.

There is Internet / wifi in the apartment for guest use at no additional cost

Extensive International TV stations including BBC1, 2, 3 & 4, ITV1, 2, 3 & 4, CH4 & Eurosport, Discovery & Disney.

About Roger Coleman

Roger is a retired senior project manager and has worked extensively overseas in the aviation sector on Airport related projects in Russia, the Middle and Far East.

He is passionate about golf and has been a single figure handicapper since his teenage days. Aine, Roger’s wife, is a Town Planner and took early retirement some years ago. Roger and Aine have three daughters. They have made Las Terrazas their home from home and look forward to extending a warm welcome to their guests.

Why Roger Coleman chose Torre-Pacheco

The resort itself is in a quite neighbourhood surrounded by orange groves and farmland.

It's not near any secondary or primary roads so all you might hear at night time are crickets. There are many restaurants nearby and the famous inland sea of Mar Menor is visible from the the roof terrace of the apartment block.

A major attraction for us was the unique design of these particular intimate apartment blocks as they only have 4 apartments on each of the 4 floors.

What makes this apartment unique

Even for non golfers the view of the Jack Nicklaus designed course from our terrace is spectacular with its desert type features and undulating lush green fairways.

Our communal swimming pool is also visible from our terrace making it very convenient for keeping an eye on the kids.

The fact that numerous splendid beaches are only a 10/15 minute drive away is also a major attraction.

Coast/Beach:

The famous Mar Menor "inland sea" is only 15 minutes away by car and provides in excess of 5 kilometres of spectacular beaches for bathing, together with water sports.

Travel:

Murcia San Javier Airport - 15 minutes drive. Alicante Airport - 55 minutes drive. Car hire is recommended but not essential.

If you would prefer not to hire a car we can arrange for our agent to collect you from either Alicante or Murcia Airport (San Javier). Prices available on request.

Depending on your flight arrangements it's also possible to avail of public transport (bus & train) to reach Balsicas which is only 7 minutes away by taxi. Further information can be supplied on request.

The central feature of Las Terrazasis the 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The golf course comprises 18 desert-style holes.

The resort centre has a Spar Supermarkt which also has internet facilities available for a small fee.

There is also Saurines Golf Clubhouse / bar offering food with free wifi.

The neighbouring sister resort, La Torre - only a 5 min drive away, has top quality services in it’s own town centre with bars, restaurants, 5 star Intercontinental Hotel & Spa, bank and supermarket.

The resort is located in the Region of Murcia, on the Mediterranean in the south east of Spain with an exceptional climate and unbeatable surroundings in which to enjoy your holiday. Notes on accommodation: The air-conditioning inverted system can also be used to provide heating for the apartment when required. This is a no smoking apartment and pets are not allowed. High chair and cot can be made available on request for a small additional charge. There are three full sets of golf clubs (Titleist, MD & Ram), two gents and one ladies in the apartment available for guests use, free of charge. Each bag has plenty of golf balls and no worries if you loose a few! There are also three bicycles stored on the ground floor beside the stairs and are available for guest use at own risk; a gents, ladies and children's. All we ask is that they are left as found: re-covered and locked after use. There is a bicycle rack under the main bed that's suitable for most cars. Bike safety equipment etc. is stored in the press over the microwave oven. There is a plentiful supply of children's and adults games in the apartment together with an extensive collection of books, DVDs & CDs. Outside: Large, south facing, covered terrace with great views of the golf course and pool. Quality comfortable outdoor furniture consisting of a two seater couch and two single wicker armchairs with two matching coffee tables. The apartment is also equipped with two sun loungers for your added enjoyment. External electrical sockets, lighting and water tap are also provided on the terrace. There is access to the apartment block roof terrace where you can sunbath or enjoy the breathtaking views. There are also clothes lines provided for your convenience on the roof terrace. Ample car parking space is provided directly in front of the apartment block. Las Terrazas is a gated complex with security controls at the entrance to the resort. The resort is monitored by an extensive CCTV camera system. The security company also carry out regular patrols, 24 hours a day. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedding, linen and towels are provided and are freshly laundered for each letting. There is a cleaning/laundry fee of EU60 per booking, paid directly to our agent. Stays longer than one week may have an "interim" clean undertaken for an extra fee.

Most pleasant stay

From the moment we arrived till we left, our stay was very pleasant. The apartment was very clean, quiet and well oriented to have beautiful sunshine and view on the golf course. Well stocked with DVDs and CDs. The welcome pack has a lot of information.on restaurants and local activities.

Roger, the landlord was most attentive and provided us with a lot of information as we may be interested to buy an apartment.

Las Terrazas de la Torre are very well maintained and security personnel most courteous.

We will be returning.

The property was exactly as listed and is clearly well loved by the owners. It had some very tasteful personal touches with loads of useful information about the area. We particularly enjoyed the balcony for its comfort and for the views and thought the location was very relaxing. I took advantage of the available golf clubs and enjoyed the desert course. We have going to this area for many years and have already recommended this apartment to others, I will definately be looking to return in the near future.

Relaxing luxury apartment

I would highly recommend this apartment in Spain if you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing to stay. It is very close to, and easy to get to the airport. The apartment itself provides everything that you need. It is very tastefully decorated and is more like staying at someones house than the usual rental type accommodation. The balcony is great for relaxing in the evening. I found the nearby beaches great for snorkelling. The kids enjoyed being able to wonder around the area without worrying about security.
