The Main House on the ground floor comprises five double en-suite bedrooms, a spacious lounge, a dining room and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. The entrance is via a footbridge that traverses the Japanese koi pond. The master bedroom has an open plan bathroom with spa bath behind the king size bed and enclosed shower plus aircon. Bedroom 2: has a king size bed with en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower plus aircon. Bedroom 3 and 4 have queen size beds and en-suite bathroom with shower only. Bedroom 5 has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower only.
Kitchen: Open plan fully equipped and fitted: dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine, small appliances. Living: Spacious lounge, dining room and terraces. Electronics: Satellite TV, 3 TV's, iPod doc, sound system and DVD Player. Complementary high speed WiFi up to 1 Gig a day.

Situated in a tranquil tree-lined street Lion’s View is a five-minute stroll from the Beach. Lion’s View is divided into two sections; the five bedroom Main House and the two bedroom Penthouse Apartment. Guests can opt for either or combine them to form an ultra luxurious seven-bedroom villa. Guests are ensured total comfort and luxury. A housekeeper is always on hand to tend to domestic needs. A private chef can be arranged on request. There’s under-floor heating and air-conditioning in selected areas. As you’d expect from a five-star property the house has all the mod-cons including iPod docs, hi-fi, telephone, satellite TV, DVD players and complementary WiFi internet. I'm originally a Hydrographic Surveyor from the Netherlands but after living in London with my partner (from Rochdale) for a couple of years we decided to escape to South Africa in 2006 to set-up and manage the family hospitality business. We currently own and operate two guest properties. Lalapanzi Lodge in the Cape Winelands and Lion's View in Camp's Bay, South Africa. We'd travelled around South Africa a couple of times before moving here. We'd fallen for the country, especially the Cape Town area where we now live. We love it's Mediterranean climate. It's amazingly delicious food. And even better wines. The people are friendly. The service is generally good. Everywhere you go there are amazing views. You're never far from a beach. And the pound/euro still goes a long way.

Rates are inclusive of 14% VAT, of housekeeping Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays), of wireless internet connectivity, up to 1 Gig per day. Exclusive of: telephone calls, laundry service, airport transfers, meals, shoots or function fees.

Payment & cancellation terms
A 50% deposit is payable to secure the booking. If payment hasn't been made in 5 days of booking, your reservation will be cancelled.
The remaining 50% is due 1 month before arrival.
1 month prior to arrival no refund, we will charge the full booking;
1 month up to 6 month prior to arrival no refund, we forfeit the 50% deposit payment;
6+ months prior to arrival, we refund the full deposit received minus R1000 handling charges.
We recommend you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances
Booking amendments are subject to a R500 handling fee
All cancellation and amendment must be made in writing and accepted by us
Breakage deposit; we request your credit card details on arrival and authorization
All transfers should be made net, without any charges

Rental Contract need to be signed by main member, credit card should be in the name of main member, passport and card should be presented on check-in

Maximum of 10 guests in the main house and 4 guests in the penthouse apartment
5-minute walk to Camps Bay beach - restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.
Cape Town International Airport is a 20 minute drive (26km).

• The Victoria and Alfred (V&A) Waterfront only – 10 mins.
• Cape Town Stadium (Green Point) – 10 mins.
• The fishing village of Houtbay – 10 mins.
• Constantia wine estates – 25 mins.
• Boulders Beach penguin colony – 45 mins.
• Winelands – an hour.
• Cape point – an hour.
We live in the Winelands which is an hours drive from Camp's Bay. Elize (who lives in Camps Bay) looks after the house for us on a day to day basis. She'll be more than happy to help you, should you need further information or if you'd like to make a booking.
