Port Solent a Great Base

Port Solent is an ideal base to explore Portsmouth and its maritime history.

The house is only a few minutes walk from a regular bus service X4 that runs every 30 minutes to Hard Interchange and then Maritime museum, Spiniker tower, shops and ferries to Isle of Wight are only a few minute walk away.

Accommodation and location very good, however is placed on 3 floors so 2 flights of steps.

The view in the picture is from the patio outside the kitchen diner, we had breakfast ouside in October!

The kitchen is well equipped, we were there in October and the house was quite cosy.

Lounge area on first floor has good views over marina, a few items needed a screw driver to tighten them, ie the door handle on the patio doors were loose.

First floor also has double bed room, second floor has bathroom, with shower and bath, shower not very good. Plus 1 bedroom with bunk beds and master bed room double with en suite that was very good.

Would recommend this property and we would stay again.

The property was an ideal base for our visit and significantly better than Premier Inn stays.

We would certainly consider renting the house again.

The property was well presented, clean and tidy. It has a very pleasant outlook at the back and is only a short walk from restaurants and cinema of the marina.
