It is called 'Manzara' which means 'view'. The apartment has got 2 large double bedrooms downstairs one of them with en-suite bathroom. Upstairs you have one large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Large upstairs terrace with panoramic Kalkan and Kalamar bay view. There is large shared freshwater pool 10 x 25m and spacious patio area. Each apartment has there own sunbeds and umbrellas on the patio area. The complex maintained to very high standards. Private parking area and 24 hour security in complex. The supermarket, cafe and shops are just down the road.

We are a Danish family. We bought this wonderful apartment in 2004. We are now retired and we really enjoy our apartment as well as Kalkan and we use the apartment as starting point for travelling to different parts of Turkey.

We really enjoyed our short stay! Amazing view.
I highly recommend this apartment! The view is by far the greatest thing about it, and one can enjoy it from the balconies or the living room sofa. The grounds were beautiful with fragrant flowers everywhere. The pool was clean and relaxing. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The kitchen well stocked.
Well presented spacious penthouse apartment on Saniel complex with great view over Kalkan
We stayed in this penthouse apartment for a week early June 2018. We have stayed on the Saniel complex previously so knew what we were getting. It has only 15 apartments and a good sized pool with sufficient area around for loungers and umbrellas but you do need to be fit enough to climb the hill which leads to the complex! The apartment is spacious and well presented with fabulous views from the roof terrace over the whole of Kalkan. We had difficulty getting the gas hob to work but the site manager soon sorted that out for us. The weather was stunningly hot every day. There are loads of excellent restaurants in Kalkan and some of those close to the apartment are amongst our favourites including Aqua and Two Brothers. Linda and John, Reading, June 2018
Great property, great location
The apartment was great, spacious, clean and as described. The unobstructed views are breathtaking and hard to beat.
The owners were really helpful prior to the holiday, everything was very straightforward.
The complex feels secure, with 24 hour staff. Well located with a nearby supermarket who will deliver (Can Can) and restaurants (The Brothers) and bars without needing to go into Town.
We can definitely recommend this apartment, complex and Kalkan.
Loved this apartment
We first stayed at this apartment in 2012 and have loved it so much that we've been back again and again. We've been going to Kalkan since 2004 and have stayed in various locations around the town. We wanted to be on the "Kalamar Road" (the road that runs from Kalkan to Kalamar bay) as we had stayed at the far end and knew it as an easier walk than the hillside to the rear of the town. This fitted the bill perfectly, just about half way along so an easy walk into Kalkan town centre and a reasonably easy walk back. This location was perfect, quiet but not too far away from the action. The views are spectacular, our best ever; Kalkan bay to our left and Kalamar to our right. We went with our son and a mate of his and they had a double room each and their own large balcony on the first level. We had the large double room upstairs with an enormous terrace. The apartment had all the amenities we needed including a huge fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and air conditioning. There was even a very smart B-B-Q on the upstairs level. The shared swimming pool was lovely with great views as well and not usually busy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and calm. We intend to return next year and would definitely recommend this beautiful apartment to all our friends.
15 min. walk to the Kalkan pebble beach near the harbour. The Kalkan beach beside the picturesque harbour has a very interesting waterquality due to a mix of cold freshwater from the bottom of the see and the much warmer seewater. 10 min walk to the Kalamar beach clubs, - swimming from rock platforms. 20 minutes drive by car or minibus to the Patara beach. 18 km of simply splendid sandy beach. 10 minutes drive to Kaputas a wonderfull little beach on the road to Kas.
Kalkan is approx 90 minutes from Dalaman Airport and 3 hours from Antalya Airport. Airport transfer and car hire can be arranged if required. Local supermarkets are nearby and will deliver your shopping to Manzara Apartment. Minibusses and taxies are plentifull and cheap so carehire is not essential.
10 minutes walk to the town center, restaurants, butchers and grocery. Approx 30 minutes drive to Kas (Friday market) with car and 1 hour drive to Fethiye (Thursday big market). Visit Saklikent Gorge within an hour. Visit Islamlar Valley - beginning in Akbel 5 min. drive from the Apt. - with its many very good trout restaurants situated most beautifully in the landscape. In short driving distance are the greek sites Xantos - situated by a typical turkish town Kinik - and Letoon.
Kalkan is a small harbour town on the southern Turquoise coast and a very charming place to make a holiday. Untill 1923 it was a small greek fishing village only reachable from see side. That means that most of the old town dates from before 1923. To day there are at least 6 banks in the village, all with ATMs. Several small, but well-stocked supermarkets are within walking distance. No need to worry about carrying groceries uphill, they all provide a lift back! Also two good butchers in town center. Restaurants are the high point of an evening in Kalkan. There are numerous excellent eating places in the village, mostly with rooftop tables and the cuisine is mouthwatering! It would be invidious to name any, best to try as many as you can and see for yourselves. Whatever, we guarantee you will find no fresher ingredients anywhere.
Kalkans restaurants are sofisticated. Chefs from many areas of Turkey have settled here giving you the chance to sample the diversity of the Turkish Cuisine.
There are many small shops and you can get to know most of the shops within a couple of days, as Kalkan is pretty pocket-size.
Handpainted chinaware from the Iznik area, tailors who can measure you for en outfit of material you have chosen for your self -and so on.
20 min. drive to the Patara ruins. It is a must and the excavations are still going on. Among the ruins two are spectacular: The oldest light house in the world is situated in the dunes at a certain distance from the theater. The other one is the Bouleuterion the meeting place for members of the Lycian League and considered to be the oldest democratic Parliament in History.
The beach is really magnificent and you will have the most wonderfull view -from the sea when you are swimming - over the unspoiled area behind the sea, the mountains and the hillsides with olive trees and the beautifull dunes.
Further recommendations: walking on the Lycian way, boattrips, aquasports, Jeepsafari and canoeing on the Xantos river.
