Situated on Plaza Verde at the family friendly Sands Beach Resort. Villa enjoys spectacular views of beach and sea and gets the sun all day long. Apt consist of private sun terrace, spacious living/dining area, kichen newly refurbished shower and double bedroom.A large newly refurbished heated shared swimming pool is adjacent to villa and large sun terrace. Water sports are available on the beach front and conditions are perfect for wind surfing. Many shops bars and restaurants are only a short walk away.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to look at our apartment. We live in Ireland, have three grown up children and love to spend as much time as we can in Costa Teguise. We really love the resort and all it has to offer. We are the proud owners of a south facing first floor apartment overlooking the sea in Sands Beach, Costa Teguise. We bought it 5 years ago and have enjoyed many breaks there over this time. Our children and their friends have holidayed there also. We have holidayed in many places, have had good and bad experiences but we get great satisfaction from knowing that a visit to Costa Teguise is guaranteed to please every time.

Why brian chose Costa Teguise - Teguise

It is a really beautiful place with super weather all year round. Sands Beach is situated on the outskirts of the town of Costa Teguise but is within easy walking distance on a beachfront promenade, of the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Taxi rank and bus stops are also within a few minutes of the apt. Transfer time to the airport is only 20 min. The resort has a nice local feel to it, providing a very good range of services, sporting pursuits and a good variety of nightly entertainment, without being too busy or overcrowded. The walk along the promenade is magic.

What makes this villa unique

The most attractive feature of the property is the fact that it is south facing and gets the sun all day long. It is a first floor apt and has lovely sea views. It is located on Plaza Verde with its own heated 25 M. swimming pool. It is situated in a quiet corner of the complex with no through pedestrian traffic from guests of other plazas. The apt is very well appointed and provides a high degree of comfort and space which makes it an ideal place to relax and unwind

Superb relaxing holiday. Walked to Las Cucharas Beach and watched a wind surfing competition. Beautiful views form balcony of apartment. Lovely choice of restaurants nearby. Couldn't want for any more. Sheila Crosby Dublin.

Notes on accommodation: Internet access available on site. Cot/high chair are available for hire as are DVD and films. The villa's temperature is superbly controlled by ceiling fans. Outside: The villa is located on Plaza Verde on a quite end of terrace with no through pedestrian access for guests of other villas on resort. There is a large shared newly refurbished heated swimming pool and a large shared sun terrace. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Includes linen/towel change after every full week. The villa will be cleaned at the end of every full week. Beach towels not provided but can be hired.

September holiday

Arriving at the property about 18.00hrs after leaving home early in the morning, we hoped that everything would be fine on arrival. Need not have worried everything that had been sent to us reference things to do on arrival worked out and we were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation. Most relaxed holiday we have had. Fantastic.

The apartment was clean & well designed. The bathroom was modern I would think only newly renovated. The kitchen had an oven, hob, microwave & to my delight a dishwasher. When we arrived milk & water was left in the fridge & there was plenty of condiments that had been left from previous guest i.e salt, olive oil, tea bags, coffee sachets & sugar which we thought was a lovely homely touch. The Verde suited us as our daughter was old enough to meet her friends at other plaza's for a splash around in the pools but she also had the advantage of getting some Lane training in in the Olympic Pool. We loved our stay & would highly recommend this apartment.

Wonderful and relaxing

Brians property was spotlessly clean and has the sunshine all day long,overlooking on one side the sea and beach,whilst on the other,the laned swimming pool (for which swim caps are required).On arrival we found milk and water in the fridge,which was a nice touch.

There plenty of reading material along with dvd's and a TV.

Brian also afforded us a later checkout time which we greatly appreciated.

The only drawback we encountered was the fact that we only had the one key. Reception were unable to provide us with the correct second key.

That said it was a wonderful holiday and would certainly highly recommend staying at Verde 11.

Sands Beach Lanzarote

The property that I stayed at recently was every thing I could want in a self catering apartment, fullly equipped kitchen that is a priority due to health reasons, spotlessly clean with all mod cons, ample tea and bath towels even sunbathing towels that is less weight in my suitcase I loved the privat balcony and the views are wonderful I have allredy booked another two weeks in October and am really looking forward to it,if you are looking for a total rest with a warm climate this is the place for you.

Whether you want to relax and chill out or have a more active holiday, Costa Teguise and Sands Beach has a lot to offer. Many different water sports are catered for. There is an 18-hole golf course close to the resort. There are many excursions available and these can be booked through the reception or from many locations in Costa Teguise.

The Sunday market at Teguise, the old capital of the island is well worth a visit, as is the Friday evening market in Costa Teguise town square. Puerto del Carmen is a lively resort with plentiful nightlife. Just south of Puerto del Carmen is Puerto Calero which has a marina.

Within 5 mins of the resort are many shops, bars, restaurants, banks and a pharmacy.

For those who seek a more active holiday there is an abundance of places of interest to visit, indeed many of which have been designed by Lanzarote's famous artist and architect, Caeser Manrique.

Tahiche which is a 15 mins drive has the 'Manrique Fundacion', the artist's one time house which is now a museum and art gallery. The house was built in a lava field and the use of natural volcanic rock is most evident. Well worth a visit!

Travelling to the north of the island will take about 45 mins and here you can wonder at the spectacular views from 'The Mirador del Rio', a cafe designed by Manrique and built into the cliff top overlooking the island of Graciosa, some 500m below.

The island of Graciosa is a 15 minute boat ride from Orzola on the north west coast.

On the north east coast is the spectacular Famara beach which is famous for surfing. This wild beach is flanked by the mountains known as 'El Riscos'.

The fishing village Calleta de Famara has some good local restaurants and the artist Manrique spent much of his time there.

Other places of interest worth a visit are; the Cactus Garden, El Gofo, Jameos del Agua, Cuevas Verde (green caves) tunnelling for miles through a lava tube, The National Park, (30 mins), a truly volcanic lava landscape.
