Villa in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, Central Location, 5 minutes stroll to the Beach
About Ian Chandler
We are a couple who met in Lanzarote. We have stayed in many different Villas around the Island. Our favourite being the area where our Villa is situated now. We had the opportunity to purchase this Villa on this estate (Las Calas) in February 2009. We have since been working on it and bringing it up to our high standards, it is our home from home, if you choose to stay here we hope you will have a wonderful holiday and enjoy what the island and our Villa has to offer you. Why Ian Chandler chose Teguise
We wanted somewhere we could have a home from home. This Villa ticked all the boxes for me and even if i did not want to drive i would have everything on hand for my holiday needs.
What makes this Villa unique
I have had Wi Fi fitted so i can keep in touch with family and friends during my stay. I have made some good friends out here and i try to get out as often as i can.

Lovely Villa - We're coming back next year
Villa was excellent, great location, plenty of space, every appliance you could want to make your stay easy. Pool is the perfect size, not too big it doesn't stay warm, and not too small.
Memory foam mattresses are awesome, beds a bit squeaky, we kept waking each other up as we turned over, but owners have arranged for them to be inspected and replaced if necessary.
Excellent location, right in the centre of Costa Teguise, supermarket around the corner and our favourite restaurant La Bohemia just on the corner.
Parking is easy right outside the door, pool is cleaned twice a week and clean bedding and towels arrived as arranged - what more could you ask for.
* March 2019 - there is extensive building works going on next door which can be intrusive. Entirely out of Villa Victoria's owners control obviously but something to be aware of over the next few months.
An excellent villa and very good value for money.
The villa is very central, has an excellent layout and is very private. The photographs do not do it justice. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
Quiet location but close to shops bars and restaurant
Enjoyed Costa Teguise plenty to do nice walks
Villa is perfectly placed. It's bigger than you think and has everything you would need. Lovely pool and it's in a sun trap.
Home from home.
This is our third visit to the villa and it won’t be our last. It’s a home from home. It is ideally situated, as it’s close to the beach, restaurants and shops.
5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Home from home fabulous 12 day stay again everything you need in villa and fabulous pool . Close to local shops and pubs 5 minute walk we definitely be back.
Special interest holidays:
Being surrounded by water, all water related sports are catered for. Windsurfing and surfing, scuba diving and snorkeling are very popular and courses for these are available. Professional surf competitions take place every year (usually In October) in Famara which is about fifteen minutes away by car. La Santa sports training complex is also a short drive away. Cookery and Painting courses are available all year round.
The closest beach to Villa Victoria is Las Chucharas and is a five minute walk away, there you can find wind surfing and diving facilities. Sun loungers and umbrella's are available for hire and showers are provided on the beach. The main surfing beach is Famara and and is about fifteen minutes away by car. For those guests that like to be in tune with nature Mala is the naturist beach.
Arrecife Airport is about fifteen to twenty minutes drive by car. There are ample taxis at the airport and should cost around twenty euros to get to Villa Victoria. There are several car hire companies that operate from the airport if you wish to hire a car and explore what the island has to offer.
Costa Teguise is situated on the coast in the central part of the island. Arrecife the capital is ten minutes away by car. Teguise itself which used to be the capital is about fifteen minutes away. It is a beautiful quiet village except on a Sunday when the weekly market is on. Playa Blanca is approximately forty five minutes drive away where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura.
Costa Teguise has everything you will need on holiday. There are many supermarkets bars and restaurants on your doorstep. In the local square, El Pueblo Marinero, every Friday evening there is a local market (a smaller version of the Sunday market in Teguise), where you can purchase local art, crafts and gifts. Many of the bars have live music and are all children friendly.
