The luxurious apartment are located on the top of a hill in an ancient Umbrian town near Trevi. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are romantic, all with private balcony, wifi area, cable television and a kitchen with utensils. The thousand year old property, with a private pool and car park, was renovated in 2007, carefully observing government laws. Recently open to the public, the Tetti di Trevi apartments will exceed your wildest imagination. The breathless surroundings are set in an untouched preserved nature, where the peaceful countryside will full your days while sipping a glass of red wine on the terrace or on the swimming pool solarium, waiting for the miracle of daily sunset happening in front of you. The property is located in a rural village where there are nearby a restaurant we sincerely recomend to our guests. The distance from the village centre of Trevi is 2,500km and its main square is visible from the terrace, as you can see from the pictures.
I live in Umbria (Terni) with my wife Patrizia, 2 children. My wife and I both work, but we spend most of our time in Trevi. Patrizia was born in Trevi. We love this place.
The property used to be my grandmother's house (she
is still alive and just about to turn her 97th year), it was built from the 17th century and totally restored in 2007 in the respect of the original materials (rock walls and ceilings) and the style it becomes from. The forniture has many antiques among a choice of original pieces.
Our property is unique for it's location. The park that surrounds it. The view is something you will not forget. The apartments have been restored with love and ability have been furnished with great attention to the forms, materials and colors to present you the feeling of relaxation. The silence, finally, turn your vacation to "Tetti di Trevi" in a dream. We will, with discretion, at your disposal for this to happen.
An ideal location above Trevi with a large sun terrace perfect for eating outside from breakfast to sunset. The two sun-loungers were a bonus. The apartment was well-equipped, very clean and well maintained.
The apartment was well situated for visiting the many beautiful and historic Umbrian hill towns and villages. We particularly liked Assisi and Bevagna. We're keen walkers and very much enjoyed a trip to the Monti Sibillini National Park near Castelluccio. We took in Norcia, the capital of the wild boar and pork world, on the way. The walk through the Trevi olive groves was also very pleasant.
Food, both to buy to cook at home and to eat out, was excellent. We were amazed at how inexpensive the restaurants are. The local restaurant Il Poggio was absolutely superb.
The weather wasn't quite warm enough (it was a bad summer by Italian standards) for us to try the pool but it's a great asset when conditions allow.
Our host Patrizia was very pleasant, kind and helpful, finding us maps and giving us lots of ideas about places to visit - including the brilliant Il Poggio. We were really impressed by the genuine friendliness and helpfulness of all the local Italians we met.
We would definitely like to return to Tetti de Trevi, possibly in June so we could see the high plain of the Piano Grande in full bloom.
