Having both been busy professionals in a previous life Mike and Carolyn make every effort to ensure their guests have a great holiday.
In 2010, after 10 years of renovation, they decided on a change of direction and began offering their Gites for holiday rental.
Mike's son is already resident nearby in Brittany and with Mike and Carolyn spending long periods in Brittany they are able to offer a personalised holiday experience to those renting their property.
The years have now passed and judging by repeat business and customer testimonials they feel that they are achieving their aim of providing quality, enjoyable holidays that give their guests a memorable Breton experience.
Carolyn Green purchased this cottage in 1996
We purchased in Brittany for the tranquil, rural countryside where you can relax and unwind, the friendliness of Bretons, within easy travelling distance of the UK and with warmer weather than UK.
We are sure you will find our 8 acres of new parkland absolutely delightful, we have tried to maintain a balance of useability whilst not disturbing the wildlife and fauna.
Our 10m x 5m in-ground swimming pool was constructed new in 2010 to the highest safety and hygiene standards.
Being heated and with a telescopic enclosure you will be able to enjoy it whatever the weather. It is fenced and within view of all the cottages, important when children are using pool.
Likewise we have added a 6 seater hot tub together with a covered seating area.
Our Boules court is 60 foot long and will provide entertaiment to both young and old alike. If you have never played Boules be warned- it is very addictive.
Dear Mike and Carolyn,
Thank you for a fantastic holiday, we have enjoyed it very much.
Your Gites are lovely, you have made them very comfortable, we had everything we needed and more.
Thank you for the courgettes and the baguettes etc, you have looked after us beautifully.
The kids loved the pool, hot tub, football field, table tennis, bikes and making friends in the garden.
Other highlights were waterskiing on the lake, horse riding in the forest, eating out, shopping in Josselin and messing about on the Parcabout at Branfrere.
The beaches at Damgan and Mine D’Or were good too.
Best of all was coming back to this lovely place to enjoy the garden and pool.
We shall be back next year!

We had a lovely holiday, thanks so much to both you and Carolyn. This is definitely the nicest and best equipped accommodation we’ve ever had. We loved it so much none of us wanted to go anywhere else all week and it was a real effort to go out exploring. Thanks again for a lovely week. You’ve both worked really hard and we wish you every success.
Dear Mike and Carolyn,
We have had a truly lovely holiday thanks to the accommodation, attentive hosts and good weather.
The provision of toys in the ‘Den’ for the children was really great and kept them amused for ages.
The Gite was very clean and well stocked with provisions which were appreciated, we would love to return some time.
We all agree that this has been the best family holiday ever!
Special thanks to Mike for for letting the children see the digger and tractor in action, what a treat!

Lovely rural location with very clean and comfortable accommodation. Wonderful personal customer service, from initial enquiry through to end of holiday. Thoughtful provision of everything you could want whilst on holiday with babies and young children; both in the house and activities in the garden. Whilst the hot tub gave the adults a treat too! And the covered heated pool ensured swimming on even inclement days. Some lovely local activities from pretty towns to a nearby watersports lake. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a family holiday.
Wow what an amazing holiday! Could not have been better. Mike and Carolyn were so welcoming and friendly before and during our stay. Gites des Anges is just beautiful. The gardens are an absolute treat. There is so much to do that you don't need to go out. It was fabulous to have the use of the pool and hot tub no matter what the weather was like. The range of bikes was incredible with loads of beautiful lanes to explore. We played table tennis and swing ball and even had the occasional dvd from the enormous range available from the den. Our accommodation was amazing, even better than it appeared on the details we saw online. Everything had been thought of, down to picnic ware and rug, barbecue and the most amazing welcome hamper. Thank you Mike and Carolyn, this was a long awaited holiday and we were not disappointed.
You know when you go on holiday to a cottage or gite and some little home comforts are missing? Not here... everything was provided... Sabatier kitchen knives would you believe? Hundreds of DVDs and books to choose from, a dozen or so board games in the gite for the evenings, British television and wifi (if you're close enough). Lovely pool and hot-tub - just right for the three gites on site, outdoor games to play, bike riding and great walks. Everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful week away... well nearly everything... we could have used a bigger pan for the pasta (7 of us ate a lot of pasta) but we coped.
Overall a very well maintained and run site with plenty to do, but don't tell anyone or they'll all want to go. We'll be back!
A luxurious and spacious gite in a beautiful setting. Very well appointed with many extras such as a hamper on arrival and then a huge library of games, DVDs and books. Also bicycles. Lots to see in the area. Loved the hot tub in the evenings.
We were a group of 4 adults and 1 child; all of us had a great time. The facilities on offer are excellent. The house is extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped, the welcome hamper brilliant, the children's games a nice addition. We tried to use every attraction on offer (swimming pool, bicycles, badminton, boule pit, hot tub, walks and more), but I am not sure we managed to exhaust the list. Mike and Carolyn gave a great but unimposing welcome and support. I would highly recommend staying here.
