Brick built 2 bedroom property located in a picturesque valley leading to a private sandy beach with water sports available in season. Beautiful views across Looe Bay. Ideally placed for exploring the region. 2 miles from Looe, 8 miles to Polperro and 27 miles to the Eden Project. 18 miles from Plymouth. Sleeps 4 adults. Two bedrooms with lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Electric heating throughout. Superb sea and country views and large patio with table and chairs overlooking the sea. About The Owner

My husband and I are now retired but we have had this property since our children were young. We are members of the National Trust and spend many hours visiting their numerous properties around and about.The countryside is very beautiful and there are many walks that can be done. This has always made a very nice base for a holiday in Cornwall.

Why The Owner chose Looe

We felt it would make a good holiday destination for the family.

What makes this villa unique

The sea views are always a real joy, whatever the weather and time of year. The property has everything that is necessary to make an enjoyable holiday. We find the patio overlooking the sea a real bonus as you can eat breakfast (and all meals) out there, if the weather is fine. There is an upmarket Cafe on our beach since May this year and many restaurants and cafes in Looe and Polperro. Most people seem to eat out, but there are all the facilities for cooking at the property, if you wish..

We stayed for a week with a 10 year old. The villa was fantastic, clean and a modern feel. Superb location overlooking a bay, and an added bonus of being within a 20 minute walk of Looe. Location also allowed us to travel about easily to Newquay in under an hour, and with other fishing villages nearby allowed a lot of exploring.

The owners left a really good package with ideas for visits in rainy days and lovely walks along the coast.

Would definitely use the villa again, we made fantastic memories with this family holiday.

Notes on accommodation: This is a holiday home in a pretty location overlooking the sea, with the advantage of a large patio. Ideal for a family holiday or using as a base for exploring the region. All rooms have some form of electric heating and the electricity is paid for by cards which can be purchased on site. Unfortunately we are unable to accept dogs. Outside: Large patio with table and chairs. Sun Parasols are kept in the property. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedlinen is included but guests will have to provide their own towels, tea-towels. Bedlinen is changed weekly. Property is cleaned at every changeover.

A lovely week at Millendreath

Beautiful place to stay. 39 steps to climb but so worth it when you sit on the patio and have a barbecue and a glass of wine overlooking the beach! Millendreath beach is so safe for young children it's good for rock pooling. A stream runs down the beach to the sea that the kids love playing in for hours. Our 5 year old made so many friends. Its 5 minute drive into the lovely town of Looe also with a great sandy beach and the harbour is perfect for catching crabs. There's a holiday park next door where you can go swimming on a rainy day if needed. The property has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The only draw back is no wifi but it's nice to have a proper break. Would highly recommend a stay here, we will be back!

Car: necessary


Dark sandy beach close to property, less than 5 minutes on foot. Looe has a much larger golden sandy beach which is a 20 minute clifftop walk along the south-west coastal path, or 2 miles by car and then on foot through the town.


The use of a car is essential with this holiday as there is limited public transport and it is 1 mile from the main road, uphill.


1.5 miles to The Barbican local shops.

2 miles from Looe.

8 miles Polperro

18 miles from Plymouth.

27 miles Eden Project.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
