Two stylish and extremely comfortable villas located in the North East of Corfu, between Barbati and Nissaki.Very well maintained. Set in their own 1 acre plot.Within walking distance of a small beach,at Glyfa,Barbati & Nissaki harbour. The views along the coastline and over to Corfu Town are stunning at all times of the day, and can be enjoyed from all main areas of the houses and terraces. The infinity style pools are south facing,& are bathed in sunshine all day.The villas are completely separate from each other, but a gate in the dividing wall caters for larger groups, who may wish to rent both houses, but maintain some independence. Fully air-conditioned. Underfloor heating has been installed, but is unnecessary in high season.

Having worked in the Travel Trade for over 25 years, - as a Rep in Corfu in the 1970's & then as a Manager in the longest established name in UK travel,it was always my dream to own a house on Corfu.
In 2003 we purchased a piece of land, and have now realized our dream by building 2 houses.
Over the years,we have stayed in many villas in Corfu, and my family and I are very aware of what is needed to make a villa holiday comfortable and enjoyable. We believe we have achieved this with villas Odyssey and Serendipity.
We have a fantastic support system in place, with our English House Managers & Cleaner - who have lived in Corfu for many years.
We provide 24 hour emergency support. We have also compiled a very comprehensive information file in each villa.
J. McKenna purchased this villa in 2010
When we were looking for land,we only considered the North East coast, as this is our favourite area.
I love all the villages and beaches, especially Nissaki.
It is peaceful, yet all the attractions of this coastline are easily accessible from our houses,& there are some great local restaurants.
We love to go into Corfu Town- for shopping, dinner,or just to have coffee or drinks.Especially in the evening - it's great to sit in 'Liston' & watch the world go by.
The houses are within easy reach of all the local restaurants & supermarkets.Great watersports at Barbati Beach & local boat hire at Glyfa,Barbati & Nissaki.
There is a good bus service which runs along the coast road,& passes at the end of our lane,an easy way to get to either Corfu Town or Kassiopi in the North - for when you prefer not to drive.
Villa Serendipity was everything we'd hoped for and more. It is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The sea views from the balconies and the pool were breathtaking; the sunsets stunning. The welcome pack was very thoughtful -- with two bottles of wine, a jar of local honey, milk, bread, crisps -- and thoroughly enjoyed. The villa is also well stocked with books and games that were nearly new. The staff -- pool cleaner/gardener/cleaner -- were wonderful and friendly and had lots of local tips for us. Janet is a very thoughtful and helpful host indeed and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Serendipity to our friends and family.
This was our fourth stay at Serendipity and it never fails to impress; a really great villa on the north east side of the island, arguably the best bit of Corfu. The owner has thought of everything to make one's stay a memorable one. Extremely well furnished and equipped it is always spotlessly clean. A great pool and attractive outside area with plenty of places to sit/lounge make it a great location if you just want to relax and not venture too far. There is a fantastic Taverna (Glyfa) just a couple of minute's walk, right on the water's edge just above a small beach with several other excellent restaurants just a short drive.
It certainly ticks all our boxes and we can't wait for our next visit. We feel sure that once you have stayed at Serendipity you will feel the same.
Wow! A stunning villa in a glorious position, overlooking Corfu Town. The villa is superbly equipped with top quality furnishings and fittings and proved the perfect choice for our family holiday with 2 teenage sons. The fact that we could also walk to the small Glyfa Beach and wonderful Glyfa Taverna were an added bonus.
We also spent some very happy evenings just down the road in the lounge bar of the Chrystal Blue Apartments, where Spiros, his wife and cousin made us all extremely welcome. The Thursday evening "souvlaki" were delicious!
We hope to return to Serendipity - beyond a doubt the loveliest holiday accommodation we have rented to date.
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Serendipity during August this year with our three boys. They had a dip in the sea (5 mins down the road) most mornings if up early enough! There were several friendly and reasonably priced tavernas nearby and a couple of well stocked, smaller supermarkets. We found it difficult to leave the villa and pool as the boys were constantly entertained leaving us to read our books, cool off in the pool and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The balcony was a great hit where each of us at some point could go with a drink/coffee and have some peace. We ate in a few nights and had a couple of barbecues here with friends. The villa is perfectly situated away from the hustle bustle but close enough to all attractions. We hired a small boat ( 60 Euros) which was a great hit and we explored the coastline and found some little beaches. It is superbly equipped and we enjoyed a few evenings with a drink watching a family DVD. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here and would like to return again soon!!!
An excellent property, well located in the NE coast area of Corfu. The fittings and furnishings are of a high standard and, being of UK origin, all work. ( We have stayed in locally owned villas where this is often not the case!) There is a good local support team mostly British ex pats who are very helpful.
The property stands back from the main road and is slightly elevated affording a pleasant view across the bay towards Corfu Town. There are some local amenities, including beaches, within walking distance but a car is basically a necessity, however there is a reasonably reliable local bus service along the main road if you cannot face driving in Greece!
We had a great time in Corfu in this homely, well maintained and clean villa. Lovely sea view over the bay to Corfu town. Janet and the local support were really helpful when needed and helped arranged airport taxis, shopping delivery and day time accommodation for our last day.
The local restauarants were vey welcoming with great food and really friendly service and between a 5 and 15 minute walk.
A really relaxing holiday and we would certainly recommend to others and may well be back.
There is a small beach- at Glyfa, approx 350 metres away, with steps to access. The houses are very close to Nissaki & Barbati & there are several other lovely beaches within a 10 minute walk & others within a 5 minute drive.Very convenient position for access to all amenities & all areas of Corfu.
Approx 23kms from Corfu Airport (30-35 mins drive). Car hire is strongly recommended.Barbati and Nissaki have all you need for a family holiday and the local mini market at Nissaki will deliver. A car will allow you to explore this beautiful island fully. Make sure you visit Venetian Corfu Town, a World Heritage Site, as an alternative to driving, you could always take a water taxi from Agni.
We can book either taxi or minibus transfers from the airport-just ask for details.
The villas are situated on the North East coast of Corfu.Their position makes them easily accessible to beaches on both sides of the island.Nissaki & Barbati are both just a short walk away. Kassiopi to the north is a lively resort with a beautiful harbour, and a good selection of bars and restaurants, and is approx 30 mins by car.Easy access to Corfu town.
The picturesque harbour of Nissaki is a 10 minute walk, with several beachside tavernas, and a small supermarket. An excellent beach for younger children. Nissaki village is a little further on, along the coast road and has a good supermarket/bakery and a few excellent tavernas.Barbati beach is a short distance in the opposite direction,& offers a long beach with watersports available.Self - Drive boat hire is available at Glyfa & Nissaki.
