This semi detached home "Kelston Villa" is located in Durlston, a quiet elevated area overlooking Swanage bay and adjacent to Durlston country park. The Jurassic coast cliff walks begin approx 300m south of the property. The town centre is approx 500m north down the hill, so you get the views of the bay and are away from the bustle of the town. Local attractions include Swanage beaches, Swanage steam railway, Swanage Victorian Pier, Corfe Castle, Studland Beach, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and Lulworth Castle.

Period property in quiet prime location overlooking Swanage bay. Completely refurbished for 2010.

Kelston Villa is conveniently located for the town and Durlston country park is just up the hill providing access to the Jurassic coast, fantastic walks and scenery.

What makes this house unique

Close to Durlston country park, good location for walkers to Jurassic coast. Close to Swanage beach (10 min amble). Dogs welcome (max 2). I do rent for short breaks out of high season (jul and August, half termsEaster and Christmas)

Denise, Just a quick message to thank you for providing such a lovely house.We all really enjoyed it. We are already considering whether to book for the same week next year. You seem to have catered for everything (a full length mirror would be a good addition). Finally we were all very pleasantly surprised to find out just how luxurious your house is and fell the photos on the website dont do the house or the views justice. But we did have the benefit of being there when the weather was fantastic. Many thanks Suzy and Andy Tookey (May 2010)

Outside: Enclosed outside garden, patio area with picnic table, washing line. Small lawned area and shrub garden, shed for storage. Outside tap. There is a parking space on the small driveway and on road parking(no permit needed) Please try to park outside the property away from other driveways/dropped kerbs as it is a residential area. Utility Room: Hall cupboard with hoover, ironing board, iron and coat hooks. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen provided, hand towels only in bathrooms. Property cleaned weekly on changeover.We have a travel cot with sheet, cot bed mattress with sheet and a wooden highchair with insert available. Other: Outside patio area with picnic bench. Lawned area and shrub borders. Garden shed for storage. Well behaved dogs max x 2 welcome.

Fabulous home up a hill

What an amazing week away in this fabulous house! The house was beaurifully presented, even biscuits and milk on arrival! Much needed! The rooms are all very tastefully decorated, the lounge well appointed and the kitchen brilliant! Everything you need and more! The owners really have thought of absolutely everything!

The location is fab for a big runner the hills were a challenge! Husband enjoyed bike rides out across to studland.

Highly recommend this property if you've a large family like mine!

La Trattoria in town fantastic Italian, the ship inn, the white horse, the east bar, the bull and boat, crazy golf, arcades, pitch & putt, steam train, putlake, dancing ledge gosh there really is so much to do! Sea breeze on seafront do fab meals, fish n chips in town is amazing! Always busy always fresh!

Would highly recommend, badgers, foxes at night simply beautiful!

If I haven't already mentioned full working fires! We didn't get a chance to use the BBQ sadly. Board games were a huge hit! And the dad collection was ideal for a rainy afternoon.

Can't thank you enough for our stay! Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful family holiday

Wow! this house ticked all the right boxes with our party. Ages ranged from 3 and half to 65! The villa was immaculate and well laid out. The dolls house was a huge hit with my children who spent hours playing with it. The kitchen had everything we needed tea bags and coffee included. We had a Sunday lunch at the Black Swan and they have separate dinning area for family's with children. Huge portions! We loved our time in Swanage - beautiful part of the world! thanks Denise we will definitely be back.....

Great house in convenient location

We had a wonderful stay here, there were 8 adults, 1 teen and 1 dog, lots of space for all us. We enjoyed breakfast & dinners together around the table and had a BBQ one evening, the garden was great to relax in and got plenty of sun. Kitchen was fully equipped and all the rooms were comfortable. A short walk to the lovely town centre and beach. A steep walk back but manageable, I was 8 months pregnant, but a taxi from town was only £3 :) .No wifi, but this was a good thing as the teenager in our group interacted with us and we enjoyed doing a puzzle together. we really enjoyed our stay, thank you

Home from home

A group of 9 plus 2 dogs stayed in this property and we found it of a very high standard being spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm, nicely decorated and comfortable. The property provides everything that you would want for a break away with friends and family and we would plan to stay here again. kelston villa has been our holiday home for the last 3 years, it is a wonderful house and is a credit to denise, the owner. it is excellently maintained and contains everything you would need for your stay. I don,t think you would find anywhere better where ever you went.

super swanage & super villa with views

We were a group of school friends, flying in from near and far, needing a suitable place as a get together with lots of bedrooms. The villa provided everything we needed except for a hair-dryer and WI-fi. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the small garden was west facing and therefore very warm in the afternoon sun. We found the whole villa very comfortable and spacious and it was helpful to hear from the attentive owner that it is only a £3 taxi ride from the station. It is a big hill to walk up otherwise! We would certainly return again. The owner was really prompt in getting back to any on-line enquiries and the villa was clean and ready for us on time. The sea views were marvellous.
