There's nothing worse than property pictures which fail to live up to expectations. Not so in this case! This is a truly delightful traditional town house in the lovely location of Lindos, and was more than everything we hoped for.
The idyllic St Paul's Bay is a max of 10 minutes walk - to the far side - where there's a superb taverna and all facilities, supermarket, pharmacy, shops are within 5 minutes away.
Lindos also features a plethora of great roof terrace restaurants and we can certainly recommend Caesars and Olive Street. The reason for our visit was a family wedding so we also enjoyed hosting guests in our own courtyard!
The property is well equipped including a dish washer but as other reviews have mentioned the internal stairs are steep, as is the street access - so not for those who struggle with their mobility.
Niko the owner was regularly in touch by email and contacted us by phone when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this property.
We loved our stay here. Niko and Julie the property manager was helpful and attentive. The property was superb....we couldn't have asked for anything better. Close enough to walk to the acropolis...dining...beach, shopping and parking. The view from the roof terrace was incredible. The beaches around Lindos are the best ones you will find on Rhodes, especially St-Paul's Bay stole my heart, a small secluded beach with a view on remains of 6000 years of civilization. Already booked again for next summer! Thank you.
We were really pleased about our choice to stay in this magical House Villa in Llindos for 6 nights on our recent vacation in Rhodes. It is a beautiful house in a equally beautiful and convenient location. The Lindian Style bedroom was amazing spacious, and clean. The owner Niko was very helpful. Saint Paul bay beach was something else. Next year we will definitely stay in this villa again.
Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children aged 14 and 12) stayed at this well located home for a week. The owner, Niko was extremely helpful right from the beginning. The pictures are exactly as you find the property with a great updated kitchen, clean bathrooms and perfect furnishings in both buildings (two separate buildings with separate entrances, one with linden beds on main floor and a double bed upstairs, the second with kitchen and double bed upstairs)The outdoor shower was the best after a day at the beach!
Of the two buildings, the one with the Lindian beds could have benefitted with better lighting on the main floor. Guests should also consider that the rooftop terrace can only be accessed by climbing through the window of the upstairs bedroom. But it is worth it for the view of Lindos town below!
The best restaurants we ate at were the taverna/cantina on St Paul's beach and Tambakio. We recommend hiring a car (very inexpensive) and exploring the island and climbing the acropolis is a must!
We had 2 weeks at this very nice villa as we got married at St Pauls Bay chapel and the owner kindly left a bottle of Greek champagne for us which was lovely thanks. The villa could do with some maintenance work to keep it looking good and although we had some issues, the property management team came & replaced the broken shower heads within an hour of arriving. We never had any of the cushions on the roof terrace and although promised, they never arrived. Just a warning for others that you have to climb through a window to get out onto the roof terrace but its worth it for the fantastic views! The steep stairs were a bit worrying but soon got used to them. Also one of the double bedrooms has access through the lounge area where twin lindian style beds are. The villa did have some steps up to the front door, which was no problem for us but could be for the less mobile, but it was so close to town centre that it was ideal for us. Thank you
Just back from 10 lovely days at this property - location is truly excellent and facilities great - particularly fond of the indian day beds. 5 minute down hill walk to centre of Lindos, where there are wide range of well-equipped shops and some truly excellent restaurants - Ambrosia well worth a visit. Owner and agent both very helpful and we will be back.
