This luxury apartment is situated in the prestigious Porto De Mos area on the outskirts of Lagos. It is a ground floor apartment ideal for couples or families with young children and comprises: entrance hall, spacious lounge and dining area, fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lounge and master bedroom patio windows open up onto a spacious terrace which comprises patio furniture overlooking the private garden with a delightful view of the landscaped gardens and pool area making it ideal for alfresco dining. A second patio area is accessed from the kitchen and 2nd bedroom with views of a communal area with benches. It’s position is envious with the unspoiled Porto De Mos beach only a short stroll away and ideal for couples and families that appreciate a little privacy, but not too far away to enjoy the historical sights of Lagos which is only a 5 minute drive.

Very enjoyable stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was immaculate and well equipped, very attractive grounds. No problem finding it and the meet and greet worked out well. Very convenient to a beautiful beach, just a short walk away. I would recommend car hire if you want to see further afield or go to Lagos town itself on a regular basis. Overall a beautiful apartment which added to a brilliant sunshine filled holiday. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful appartment and great for kids

We loved the appartment. It was clean, spacious and brand new!!! We have 2 small children and it was perfect for small kids. The appartment is on the ground floor, which makes it really easy to move around and has a beautiful spacious terrace. We spent most of our time outdoors and its gated so the kids can not escape.

The only downfall is that although you are really close to the old city Lagos, the walk is a little difficult so we ended up taking our car. There is a path that brings you to Porto de mos beach and the 2 restaurants there are excellent. The other thing (which maybe could have been fixed) was that the pool and the hot tub where not heated.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this appartment and the town of Lagos. We visited almost the entire coast and this was the city we found had the most charm

Owner's Response: Thank you for the lovely comments. I totally agree that the swimming pool would be better if it was heated! Our management company are looking into the possibility of having this done. The location of the apartment enjoys the peace & tranquillity of the Porto De Mos area with the beach only a 5 minute walk away, while the historic town of Lagos is easily reached with a 5 minute car journey or 35 minute walk.

This is the third time we have stayed in this apartment and its always immaculate and the owner provides a great service. Lovely aspect, terrace onto Pool. Always peaceful. Walk to Porto de Mos beach, which is beautiful benefiting from Antonio's a great restaurant. We always hire a car to allow us to visit Lagos, great shopping and restaurants, and drive out to the best beaches in Sagres. We will definitely stay again

Another happy holiday!

We love the location and apartment so much when we stay in 2012 that we booked to return this year - in 20 years of going abroad we have never stayed at the same place twice. Having come again in 2013 we are planning to return next year! Excellent location, great quality apartment in a small, quiet complex. My family have had two very memorable holidays here and are looking forward to their third one. A big thank you to the owners who have always been very helpful and ensure that their contact on site is equally as helpful.

The Algarve boasts some of the finest stretches of coastline and beaches in Europe and this area is no exception. The local beach at Porto De Mos is only a 5 minute walk. This extensive golden sandy beach is over half a mile long and features stunning high cliffs with spectacular views. This beach area provides all the usual facilities including a lovely bar/restaurant. Other local beaches include Praia Da Dona Ana:small sandy cove 5 minutes by car. Meia Praia near Lagos 10 minutes by car.


The nearest airport is Faro and is approximately 80km to Lagos taking 50 minutes by car. It is recommended that you hire a car and book it before your holiday commences so that you can arrange to collect it at the airport. A fairly straight forward drive heading west along the A22 awaits you. For guests not wishing to drive a taxi/shuttle bus is easily arranged from the airport. A list of directions from the airport to the apartment will be e-mailed to you before your departure.

Places of interest: Lagos - The historical town of Lagos is traditional in style and is encircled by massive 16th century walls that effectively shut out the 21st century. Here you will discover a maze of cobbled streets where cafe owners have set up their tables tempting visitors to stop and sample their delicious offerings in between exploring the town’s churches, museums, art galleries, antique shops and bustling market. The town of Lagos has recently received the 'slow city' award fulfilling the required criteria that your town leads an environmentally friendly, cultural, and sustainable style of life. A cultured city it may be but Lagos is also home to many fine shops bars and restaurants. The usual amenities are also well catered for. Lagos is also characterised with its modern harbour/marina. The apartment also features air-conditioning/heating, electric security shutters to all 4 patio windows and a video entry phone. Sorry no smoking allowed in the apartment! Sorry no pets allowed! Outside: The apartment boasts a spacious terrace area at the front accessed from the living room and master bedroom patio windows. For your comfort a patio table and 4 chairs are provided along with sun beds which can be used on the terrace or within the landscaped garden area. This secure complex with only 20 privately owned units benefits from a shared swimming pool, separate whirlpool, shower, discreet toilet facilities and a stunning landscaped garden area. You can enjoy the late afternoon/evening sun from the large terrace at the rear of the property. This is accessed off the kitchen and twin bedroom patios. From here you have views of the benched communal area. The rear of the property also allows for ample parking facilities directly outside the apartment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels will be provided at the beginning of your stay. In the middle of your stay the bathroom will be freshened and clean towels provided. The towels are only for use in the apartment they are not to be used around the pool or on the beach. Other: The entrance hall comprises of a dark oak console table.
