Would stay here agian

Clean spacious cottage with everything you will need. Perfect location for discovering Teesdale and only 40 odd mins from the Lakes. Blacksmiths Arms not too far for a nightcap. Didn't find a local shop in Mickelton but Middleton just down the road has a (pricey) Co-op.

Lovely clean and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is one of the best we have stayed in, it's immaculately clean and everything you need. Very comfortable bed, which makes a huge difference to us. Lovely pub up the road serving beautiful food and walks from the doorstep.

Perfect property

  • 4 of 5

Ideal property for exploring the beautiful Teesdale area.

Very clean and homely without being personalised.

Very well equipped, with everything you would need on your holiday.

Nice sunny back garden, totally dog safe.

Just couple of suggestions - some simple written instructions how to use TV/DVD for those who are technologically challenged like us!!

Just a couple of areas that would benefit from a bit of TLC e.g. grouting in bathroom/missing plug chain

Would definitely recommend to others.

A real home from home

  • 5 of 5

Lovely cottage. Spacious, well equipped, clean and well thought out.

Full size kitchen - not a small corner of the living space as is common in many holiday cottages.

The photographs really do not do this property justice - it's much nicer than it appears!

We hope to return - what better recommendation?

Thank you
