The villa is a short drive from the resort facilities which include a challenging 18 hole golf course, golf academy, bowling green, tennis courts, health spa and gymnasium. There are restaurants and a bar on site and access to other facilities including a children's club and junior soccer academy. Golf and spa discounts are available to guests. Casa Falcao is located in the third sector of the resort and is set on a hillside with superb views towards the sea and the coastal villages of Salema (5 mins drive), Burgau (10 mins) and Praia da Luz (15 mins) each of which has a safe beach and attractive beach bar/restaurants. The lively historic town of Lagos with its marina, shopping, nightlife and restaurants is a short distance further to the east. To the west is the Costa Vincentina natural park and historic Cape St. Vincent. There are numerous surf beaches within easy driving distance. Many of our guests are happy just to relax around the infinity pool which enjoys all day sun.
We are a professional couple with two teenage and three adult children. We like to escape from work pressures in the U K and to find the sunshine whenever we can. Portugal and the Algarve fits the bill as a place to spend time as a family whilst re charging our batteries. Hopefully we will be able to become proficient golfers so that we can make even better use of the wonderful facilities.

We identified Parque de Floresta as a place where we would like to buy our holiday home and the villa was built to our specification and a high standard.
We particularly fell for the scenic views especially to the east from the large window in the living room and the views to the sea from the balcony and pool terrace.
We treat this as a home from home and love to enjoy a barbecue whilst relaxing with family and friends.
We spend most of our time lazing by the pool but for those who want variety there are numerous beaches within an easy drive. Some of these to the west provide invigorating surf and water sports for the adventurous.
Guests can also enjoy all the facilities at P de F including golf , walking, tennis and the gym and spa which has a wide range of treatments.
Without doubt the key feature of the villa is its elevated position 100 metres above sea level and panoramic views mostly across open country to the sea and back inland to the hills of Monchique.
The villa has beautiful landscaped gardens which are terraced with a wide variety of flowers and fragrant herbs
The south facing aspect means the villa is in the sun all day whilst also benefiting from cooling breezes from the Atlantic a perfect climate for those who enjoy being in the open air.
A short note to say thank you, we had a fabulous holiday in your villa last week. The villa was beautiful, in a perfect location and we could not have asked for anything else. The views from the villa were breathtaking and we felt we were far enough away to have a relaxing holiday but not too far to enjoy what Portugal has to offer.

Coastal villages of Salema (5 mins drive), Burgau (10 mins) and Praia da Luz (15 mins) each of which has a safe beach.
The villa is located near the village of Budens approximately 1 kms from Lagos on the road to Vila de Bispo. The nearest airport is Faro approximately 1 hour and 15 mins away. The journey is entirely by motorway except for the last 12kms. Most people hire at the airport and drive but for those who prefer it is possible to organise transfer by taxi or mini bus and arrange car hire locally. Pre-booking is advised in July/August to allow the widest choice.
There is a supermarket which can supply virtually all day to day groceries meat and fish a short 5 minute drive from the villa in Budens other shopping is available in Salema.
There is a huge choice of restaurants in the surrounding area ranging from traditional Portuguese to more international fare including Indian and Chinese. The beach bars at Burgau, Salema and Zavial offer great food at reasonable prices with superb views and ambiance. Further afield Lagos and especially its marina offer a wide range of restaurants and cafes where you can eat while watching the comings and goings from the port.

Visitors should vacate the villa by 10am and the villa will not be available until 2pm. Guests will also be able to pre-order food packs and airport transfers when booking through our local representative.
Preferred arrival day can be flexible but preferably not on a Saturday or Sunday.
Notes on prices:
The rents are per week for 5-6 people. There are reduced rents for fewer people in the middle and low seasons. Please apply.
Pool heating is included except in the winter time. A pre-heat week will cost £80 if the villa is not rented before your holiday. Air conditioning is an extra £60 per week.
Bookings will be handled by our managing agents in Portugal. A deposit of 25% is required on booking with the balance of rental payable at least 8 weeks prior to arrival. A damage deposit of £300 is required either in cash on arrival or by bank transfer a week before your arrival.
