Location great, weather awful
Really excellent family home in an unbelievably great setting. Only minor complaint was that it appeared that the tv wasn’t connected, but no loss with the mess the world ‘s in!
Beautiful well equipped home, perfect for access to the water for boating yet with in driving distance for meals out.
Stunning loch views in tranquil setting yet only 30 mins by car to Oban.
Owners very helpfull and knowledgable for launching and mooring if needed.
Fantastic house in wonderful surrounding
We stayed with 8 persons (including toddlers) at "Teach Aisling" for 8 nights and all of us enjoyed unforgettable holidays in this special place. The location is ideal: just a couple of miles away from Oban where you can take ferries to islands, go for shopping or the occasional ice cream, but still very calm and remote in its location at the end of South Shian and just metres away from Loch Creran's shores. The surrounding landscape with the view of the mountains was constantly changing its spectacular colours and light. The children played a lot in the garden, while we enjoyed breakfast or a BBQ on the terrace. Whoever is into water sports seems to be right at "Teach Aisling" too. The house itself is spacious, well equipped, very clean, and has a cosy personal feel. Mandy was always available for questions via phone or mail and made us feel very welcome with her friendly messages and helpful information. We are already thinking about coming again!
A wonderful house in a spectacular location
Teach Aisling must be one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in! The location is superb with changing views depending on the weather and the tide. We were very lucky to watch otters, seals, herons and Canada geese as well as lots of other bird life.
Nobody wanted to go home and we all hope we will have a chance to return to the comfortable well-equipped house in it's spectacular setting.
This house is Awesome and the owners are a pleasure to deal wilh
An amazing get away from it all holiday, but so much more to do if you want to. I personally spent all the time at the house, as i found it hard to tear myself away from the stunning ever-changing view. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly think of, and some. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for that something different in a holiday, close enough to all the amenities you could wish for, yet so quiet that the silence is scary. Mandy made us most welcome when we arrived a tad early, and it was no problem at all. All going well, we hope to return next year as believe me there is nowhere anywhere quite like Teach Aisling. Thank you, George, Linda and family
