About Jill Dagha

Joe, my partner and I live and work in England. At the moment we only holiday in Cyprus, escaping from the pressures of work relaxing with all of our new found friends, in such a beautiful historic country. It has been less than 6 years ago that Joe and I first visited Cyprus, we fell in love with it immediately and dreamt of buying a house in readiness for our retirement 10 years hence. We went home having had an amazing holiday, but after a cooling off period of four months, we returned to fulfil our dream.

Jill Dagha purchased this villa in 2009

Why Jill Dagha chose Coral Bay Area

We bought the villa off plan, the location was so important, we wanted to be a part of a village, but not far from the sea or the town. Kissonerga was perfect, we are literally 5 minutes walk from the village which has all the amenities that we need, including 2 great restaurants, a 15 minute relaxed stroll brings us to a stunning beach close to another outstanding restaurant.

5 minutes by car, you will find yourself at the very popular Coral Bay, 15 minutes drive in the opposite direction will find yourself at the picturesque Harbour in Paphos, surrounded by brightly painted fishing boats, and private yachts and all dominated by The Fort and the Mosaics and all only an hours drive to the Mountains of Troodos.

What makes this villa unique

We took delivery of our villa in May six years ago, and very soon discovered not only how much Cyprus and Paphos in particular had to offer, but also just how wonderful it was. To relax in the evenings alongside the pool, a glass of wine, soft music and succulent food from our barbecue, or to walk up the hill to the next village which is Tala, to sit in the Village Square and watch the world go by. It really is a taste of paradise

FANTASTIC. The prompt, friendly and professional communication from the owners throughout was very reassuring. The villa was spotless and finished to a very high specification with everything you could need for a week away. It is set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac and only a ten minute walk in to the village where we found everything we needed and the locals were very friendly. As the weather was very hot the private pool was welcoming and the outside area is an ideal place for sunbathing, relaxing and having a barbecue, and taking in the views from the balconies was a joy. We spent a lot of time there and were very happy indeed with our choice, and with so many local places to eat and only 15 minutes drive to the Harbour it was a great location giving us the privacy we wanted. I honestly could not think of anything I would change, it was a wonderful place and we will definitely book to stay here again and highly recommend the villa. Thanks Jill & Joe.

A gorgeous home and fantastic holiday base.

  • 5 of 5

A gorgeous house with all you could possibly hope to find in a long term home let alone a holiday rental. Everything beautifully kept and all mod cons. Can't express how thrilled we were to find out that we had rented such a perfect place. As mentioned by others before the welcome pack of essentials was left for us (and much appreciated!).

The villa is an excellent base for exploring Cyprus. Jill's directions to drive to the house were fabulous and easy to follow from the airport. After first driving there finding our way back from anywhere on the island was very straightforward and always a welcome pleasure to return. Such a quiet street with lovely neighbours and that ever refreshing pool!

The villa is well located for all amenities as long as you have a hire car. There is a great supermarket and a fabulous bakery 4min drive away and you pass these every time you come 'home' so incredibly convenient.

Pool and outdoor area ideal with plenty of furniture and plants. Front porch lovely for pot of tea in the morning cool and plenty of shade out back in the afternoon. There is a fabulous awning over the outdoor dining area. The only thing that we could wish for that wasn't there would be a grassy play area for the kids but given the weather in Cyprus it's quite understandable not to have a lawn! There's a lovely park just down the road which is full of local children in the evening and the street itself is such a quiet cul-de-sac that kids can ride bikes or kick a ball happily.

For others with children I would recommend heading to the hotel at the bottom of the road to use their waterpark as only €10 for the day and you can come and go as you please which meant we were able to head back 'home' for lunch and to hide from the midday sun before more splashtastic fun in the afternoon - much better for our young family than the main Paphos waterpark.

2 adults and 2 children had a glorious time here.

Dealing with Jill and Joe was a pleasure from the outset and everything was always promptly and politely dealt with.

We can't wait to return!

Ticked all the boxes

This Villa was very well appointed and spotlessly clean.

We didn't use the air con as we preferred to have the windows open with the fitted flyscreens across and the ceiling fans on. This kept us cool even at 30C outside.

We stayed for one week and felt really at home with enough outdoor furniture and comfy couches inside. Bedrooms could be blacked out with shutters and blinds making for a good night's sleep on the comfy beds.

Ideally you need a car to get around but we did catch a bus to Paphos and coral bay from by the Atlantic hotel a couple of times although it's quite a steep walk up hill on the way back.

Julie's bar is nearest in kissonerga and food is very good and reasonable, chicken souvlaki 6 euros.

There are permanent residents either side of the villa who we found friendly without being intrusive.

All in all a lovely well appointed Villa with lots of sunshine round the pool with awning and nice inside for when it gets too much.

Beautiful, comfortable villa

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in and around Coral bay on several occasions. We were not disappointed with the quality of this villa. We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks holiday at Tala View, weather in September was just as good as the accommodation found at this villa. This villa is well situated for a short walk into kissonerga, where we found Tweedies and Julie's 2 eateries which served food to a good standard, with very friendly staff, would recommend both. There is also a high standard of facilities within the villa if you prefer to eat in, either preparing a meal in the high quality kitchen, or on the BQ found on the decking area in the garden. You will find all you will need for supplies at Phillopos supermarket ( short drive away At Coral Bay). if you want a high quality villa in the Coral Bay Area, then I cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

A beautiful villa , exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the villa earlier on this year in may .

We had such a relaxing week and really enjoyed staying at the villa .

Jill was so attentive with everything and her attention to detail was proven once we arrived .

The villa is very well equipt with all the mod cons and the wifi was a great bonus with our two daughters aged 12 and 16 .

We just wanted a break so we did not venture out and about much at all so after a trip to lidl we just stayed at the villa and took advantage of the lovely weather and peaceful surroundings.

I would have no doubts in recommending this villa and will definatly look to book again .

A beautifully presented, comfortable villa

  • 5 of 5

We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks staying at this lovely villa with our two teenage children. We were looking for somewhere that was a good location and provided easy access to a variety of activities and entertainment and this fitted the bill perfectly. The property exceeded our expectations, was very spacious and had a homely feel to it. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed eating at The Peyia Tavern and The Grande in Peyia village and would thoroughly recommend them, but we did find all the restaurants that we ate in had good quality food at reasonable prices. We had a fantastic all day boat trip from Latchi to the blue lagoon which included a barbecue lunch and was very well priced at 25 Euros per person. If you are feeling adventurous you could make a trip to Turtle Bay with it's fantastic deserted beach or the Adonis waterfalls. Both are definitely worth a visit. The waterpark at Paphos was a great day out for all the family and we also enjoyed Go Karting at Paphos. Paphos Harbour was very attractive and had a huge variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Jill's customer service was excellent and she was very helpful throughout the holiday. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and the area and we hope to return there in the future.

Special interest holidays:

Paphos, an UNESCO world heritage site, is the ancient capital of Cyprus and former fishing port the often accredited as the birthplace of Aphrodite. The ancient sites and archaeology preserve this noble past and the harbour area builds on this, mixing old and new, to provide a perfect holiday destination in the sun.

Diving: With over 50 dive sites in Cyprus for all year round diving, with the Zenobia wreck being one of the top 10 worldwide dives, The Vera K wreck is just 25 minutes from Paphos harbour laying just 11m below the surface, close to the wreck there is an archway & a series of narrow tunnels suitable for the experienced diver to explore.

Vardas Beach, with it's beach-side restaurant is a 15 minute walk and has a lovely grassed area with sun loungers and parasols. There are many beaches around the Paphos area including Coral Bay, one of the most popular beaches in Cyprus, with Blue Flag EU certification, complete with all facilities, water sports, snack bars, shops and restaurants and can be reached by car (5km) or you can catch the bus on the coast road.

Paphos airport 25 mins by car. Larnaca airport 1hr 30mins. Collection to and from the airport can be pre-arranged for you. Car hire not essential, but recommended.

Kissonerga is well located, and ideally positioned to explore the many places to visit. The village can be reached on foot in 5 mins and has several restaurants, 2 supermarkets, a bank and pharmacy. There is also a choice of tavernas which come highly recommended, within walking distance on the coast road. 10 minute drive up to neighbouring Tala village square is a true taste of Cyprus with many traditional tavernas to be enjoyed. By car Paphos 15 mins, Coral Bay 7 mins. Beach 15 minutes stroll.

Further Details:

Hiring a car is not essential but is recommended for those who want to explore all that Cyprus has to offer. A drive up to the pine clad Troodos Mountains is recommended and traditional villages include Lania, Omodos and Kakopetria or visit the beautiful monastery of Agios Neofytos. For a nice day out you can head to the popular fishing harbours of Polis and Latchi. Cyprus has the best of both, there is 'old' Cyprus offering charm and tradition or 'new' Cyprus which is livelier and modern. It is all there to be enjoyed, so your holiday is truly what you make it. Paphos town and harbour has an array of shops, restaurants and bars for a good evening out and Paphos fort often stages special attractions throughout the year. For the daytime, if you are adventurous Paphos Water Park is reached in 15 mins drive and is great for the kids. Many special interest holidays can be enjoyed such as fishing, cycling or bird watching. A Spring visit to Cyprus provides some of the most exciting birding in all Europe. We can also arrange collection from the airport.
