Notes on accommodation: Well-behaved pets by arrangement. No smoking in house but permitted on balcony. Garage next to utility room on ground floor with full sized table tennis. Outside: Woodland garden with stables and parking for 5/6 cars. Patio area below balcony with BBQ and garden furniture. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and iron board etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels, linen utilities included. Maid service available if required. Other: Balcony with sun loungers and table for 10. Family room with PS2/TV/Space invaders!

Tweed rig was everything we expected and so much more!

So rare to find accommodation with such lovely decor, this was important for our stay as we were spending lots of time inside and wanted somewhere with a clean & fresh feel.

All the bedrooms were gorgeous with the benefit of a bathroom for each room. The kitchen was kitted beyond belief, we literally did not go without.

I honestly was over the moon delighted with the accommodation, it really made the weekend perfect.

Arrangements were easy and I felt so safe & secure booking with Tweed Rig.

Would 100% return to Tweed Rig in a heartbeat!

Fantastic House in a Fantastic Location

I was looking for a place for my friends and I to gather and meet for a long weekend and as soon as I saw Tweed Rig I knew it was the place for us.

It did not disappoint from as soon as we arrived. Set on a great location on a hill looking over Gattonside and Melrose with some amazing views. The house is well built so it gets sun in the front room all day so on the likes of a summers day sitting on the balcony would be a great pleassure. The rooms in the property were very clean and comfy. The living area, kitchen and dining area is a nice big open plan which is great for housing large parties. The beds are comfy. Loads of bathrooms and showers so nobody is left short.

Debbie and Jean were very easy to deal with from booking the place to the day of leaving it. They even gave us a nice bottle of Champagne as a surprise on arrival which was a very nice gesture.

I am already planning a return trip with family or friends to Tweed Rig as I enjoyed it that much.

Large, Ideal Venue for a Get-Together

We hired Tweedrig to host a works Christmas Night. It was the ideal venue in terms of it's size to host our Christmas Night in! The house was well equipped, very clean, beds were comfy and the views were stunning. The Christmas decorations were also a lovely touch!

An ideal retreat for a Family Gathering

Set in a quiet and secluded location with commanding views across the Tweed Valley, this very spacious and well appointed property provided an excellent venue for a family gathering where the expansive open-plan living area was ideal for our purposes. The fully equipped kitchen and the comfortable en suite bedrooms all combined to make our stay a memorable experience which more than exceeded our expectations. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property to any of our friends.

Amazing !!! Book now !!

Booked this for my 50th with all the girls, ages ranged from 17 to 76 and each and everyone of them lloved this place. It was spotless and all rooms were fantastic, beds comfy, bathrooms clean and tidy, ample towels and bedding in fact everything you could possibly need and more. Fantastic views from the balcony and even though it was September we still managed to sit out one night, honestly I cannot fault this house. Go on Book it now you won't regret it.
