Anne is a lovely host who greeted us on arrival and introduced us to the property. She provided a delicious welcome pack. Throughout our two week stay she was available for advice on local places of interest, and just friendly conversation.

The cottage is a gem, fitted and furnished to a very high standard.

The location is central for Co. Durham attractions.

A very comfortable, in fact somewhat luxurious cottage, ideally situated just outside Barnard Castle. We had a wonderful stay, made all the better by the delightful warm welcome. Frankly, the best cottage in which we have stayed.
