This apartment is refurbished regularly in quiet location with separate kitchen/diner and bedroom en-suite. There is also access to a beautiful garden. It has a double bed in the bedroom and a put up bed for child teenager. Parking is available. There is free wireless internet along with TV, washing machine, oven with hob, microwave. Carbon monoxide and fire alarms fitted. Bedlinen and towels supplied. Non smokers and no pets.

About Jane Macfadyen

We have lived in Barnehurst for ten years due to my husbands employment, a surveyor for a large construction company. We both love renovating property and with my interior design skills take pride in providing accommodation that is clean and comfortable to a standard that we would expect for ourselves. I have a weakness for the garden and get much pleasure in growing plants and blending colours.

We both love to travel and meet people I have a passion for horses having spent 20 years running a competition yard.

When we are not working on the house we love to pop into London to see a show and soak up the atmosphere or just explore as there is so much to see and do around here.

Jane Macfadyen purchased this apartment in 2005

Why Jane Macfadyen chose Bexley

Originally we bought into the area due to being close to Tim's place of work.

Having searched long and hard we fell in love with Barnehurst. The property appealed to us a quiet residential area with easy access to major road and rail links and with the Eurostar only 15 mins drive away.

A further bonus we are on the edge of Kent (known as the garden of England) lots of history and great places to visit, countryside and coastal ports.

There really is somewhere for everyone to visit from here and the London airports being less than an hours drive away.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is only 5 mins walk from the station.

We provide everything you need allowing you to travel light including hairdryer, towels and even umbrellas to keep you dry!!

We provide information on places of interest and are generally on hand to assist where possible.

You can explore London, visit the sites and take advantage of the many offers bookable on the internet. There are quite often 2 for 1 offers if you travel by train which is always useful to reduce the cost of seeing the sites in London.

Lovely host and lovely aparment

From Feb to Mar, I stayed three weeks at this house. Jane and her husband were really friendly and helped me out with everything possible, so that I could feel comfortable from the beginning on.

The flat had everything you Need, including a well-equipped kitchen, a washing machine and a TV. Everything was very tidy and the rooms looked like described in the pictures on this Website.

All in all, the nice hosts and the well-kept flat contributed to make my stay in Bexley a pleasant experience.

Very nice stay

We are local but we were moving house and needed a place to stay for a couple of nights while some work was going on at the new house. This was a perfect fit. Close to the train station - when you know all the shortcuts it's probably 5-7 mins fast(ish) walk.

The flat is really nice and clean. It's also nicely secluded from the house so you won't feel like intruding anybody's privacy.

Jane was great, got us an additional bed at very short notice which made it really convenient for us. She really made sure we felt welcome.

My partner & I have relocated from Australia and spent our first 3 weeks in the UK in this lovely apartment. It was ideal for us and had everything we needed. Very clean and tidy with a pretty garden and what is advertised is exactly what you get. Jane was fantastic with giving us some local knowledge and the proximity to public transport was excellent. Great flatlet near London

This is a lovely little flat, comfortable and well equipped. It would be ideal for a couple, but also fitted we three adults just fine for a week. Jane is friendly and helpful. The garden is a bonus, although we just enjoyed the view as we were there in January. Excellent transport links to London and Kent- Barnehurst station 5 mins walk away.

A real gem

Very pleased to have found this accommodation it is a real gem. Everything was as advertised, very well equipped and well maintained. Jane made us feel very welcome. Ideal accommodation for up to 2 people who want a base for seeing the London sights or visiting family and friends in the area.hope to stay again.

Seaside resorts of Brighton, Southend, Whitstable, Hyth and Hastings all within an hours drive.

Travel:

Five minutes walk to the station and 30 minutes direct to London Bridge. Easy access to Blackheath village, Greenwich village, Canary Wharf, 15 mins drive to Eurostar, 10 mins to Bluewater shopping centre. Coach trips can be booked from Crayford at very reasonable rates.

Distances:

Beautiful Kent and Surrey countryside, Rye, Sandwich, Leeds Castle, Brandshatch are all within an hour.

Greyhound racing is also available 2 miles away at the track in Crayford. Tourist information leaflets with numerous places of interest will be available in the flat to assist in a very enjoyable stay.
