Bedroom 2 has 2 x 3' beds, well furnished with fitted wardrobes & views of pool and sea. The Bathroom has bath, WC and sink. The kitchen has quality units with granite work surfaces. Modern appliances incl. dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker hob and hood, microwave, other appliances, full settings for up to 6 people, views to sea.

The well-equipped lounge also opens to the terrace. Two sofa units include 1 which is a sofabed. Tasteful furnishings including table & chairs, Wi-Fi, Hi-fi & 32 w/s TV, Sat & full UK TV (incl sports & movies) via android box and DVD player. C/W AirCon & ceiling fans. The Double-width terrace has stunning views to village & mountains, pool and sea. Patio has table, chairs, 2 sun loungers and BBQ. Cleaned prior to occupation, + bedding change after 1 week. The apartment includes towels and linen including bath towels.

Studio & 2Bed (Penthouse) Apt

We aim to provide a tasteful and well-equipped base for your holiday in Cyprus, and you can do as much (or as little) as you wish! There is something for everyone in or near to Peyia, and our apartments are close to as much fun and action as you want but in a quiet and tranquil setting.

The Vanessa Resort is a quiet top-level and year-round resort with Peyia's largest Pool, which has been newly re-lined for the coming season, and now has 'Roman Steps' rather than ladders for easy access . The studio is on the 1st floor & the 2-bed is on the top floor of the same Block, with views to mountains/sea/pool.

Both are tastefully furnished & well equipped with Ceiling fans and Air Conditioning, Widescreen TV with satellite, Hifi, & Wi-Fi. (The 2 bedroom now has reception for UK terrestrial TV channels). The apartments have Elite mattresses & large terraces, & are only 5 minutes drive from Coral Bay, the best beach locally.

The complex is close to the centre of delightful Peyia village. Within a walk are choices of bakers butchers supermarkets, tavernas, restaurants and bars. Communal facilities include large pool, further plunge pool, heated indoor pool, indoor Jacuzzi bath, changing rooms, sauna, Table-tennis & gym plus gardens, on-site parking, & lifts.

There is a Bus service to Paphos and Airport. The apartments are just 20 minutes from Paphos Centre, with its culture, history, port and abundance of shops (with a new shopping centre opened in 2014), bars and restaurants.

Nearby there is cycle hire, go-karting, horse riding, a Zoo, waterpark, golf (9 whole par 3 within 10 mins / full course near Paphos), making this a fine location for a family holiday.

For those wanting that 'special touch', There is also a choice of Spa's nearby including 1 with excellent day facilities and rates in nearby Coral Bay, and there is also a full commercial Gym in Peyia within walking distance of the apartments. Full details are kept within the apartments.

There are also a wealth of quiet wine-growing and fishing villages, coastal resorts and cultural sites in the area. These can be explored on foot, by bicycle, car, quad-bike, motor-cycle or organised tours for families or for couples alike. (Cyprus has been part of many of the worlds major empire and civilisations, and all of these peoples have left there mark for you to enjoy now).

It is only 15 minutes to famous Lara Beach on the Akamos Peninsula, with its wild turtle reserve and nature reserve. The Troodos mountains and Mount Olympus are 75 minutes away, where (at over 6,000 feet high) you can explore monasteries, pine forests and you can ski in the winter.

We feel that Peyia (and Cyprus) have all to offer that anyone could want in a quality holiday. Peyia is close to Paphos, Coral Bay (and its forthcoming Marina), and other parts of the Island which are scenic and beautiful.

The village itself has everything needed, but is quiet and tranquil. The apartments and village have lovely views to mountains and sea.

We have fitted the partments in what we thin is a stylish but practical way, and have tried to fit them out with everything you need (except GHD's for the ladies!) We have also tried to include as much detail in the listing as possible but please contact us if you have any questions.

Our apartments at the Vanessa complex are on what we believe is possibly the only development in the area offering this combination of quality, safety and tranquility combined with the largest pool in Peyia and the other 5 star facilities as listed.

Special interest holidays:

Nearby is the Akamas Peninsula with its nature & turtle reserve, explorable by 4x4 / quadbike / cycle. Within 10 mins of Peyia is a zoo & riding stables, 25 mins to the quiet coastal towns of Polis, Laatchi & the famous Baths of Aphrodite.

As well as shops, market restaurants and nightlife, Paphos contains a waterpark and a world of culture, with museums & artifacts / historical sites which provide a fascinating insight into many of the worlds empires.

To the east of Paphos is the equally famous and picturesque Aphrodites Rock. Travelling inland can take you to lace-making villages stopped in time, where monasteries, vineyards. 90 minutes travel will take you the bustling port and resort of Limassol or the Troodos mountains, (where you can escape the heat and enjoy a serene 20 deg C in the Summer or ski on feet of powder snow in the Winter).

Slightly further afield are the capital Nicosia and a visit to the Turkish part of the island, or the resorts of Larnaca and Ayia Napa.

Coast/Beach:

There is another excellent open access pool with bar in the village some 10 minutes walk from the complex.

Coral bay is one of the best beaches on the island & has small coves adjacent to a main sandy beach, with full watersports onsite. This is about 3 miles away and is but a few minutes by car.

Adjacent to this is the 'Sea Caves' area, (a rocky peninsula ideal for snorkelling or scuba diving). Near here is also the ideal and picturesque jetty and church at Ayios Georges.

Travel:

New - Ryanair May12 £230 4 two!! Paphos Airport 12 miles/30 mins from Peyia. Paphos is served by: BA = Jersy, Gatwick. Easyjet= Gatwick, Manch'r, Luton, Ryanair New May from Stanstead + others Globespan = Scottish A/ports. Cyprus Airways = Birm, H/row, Stansted. T Cook = Birm, Bristol, Cardif, E Midls, Exeter, Glasgow, Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead, N/castle. Thomson = Birm, Bourne'h, Bristol, Cardif, E Mids, Exeter, Glasgow, Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead, Manch'r N/castle Norwich Jet2: Leeds/Bradford.

Distances:

A car is not necessary, but is recommended. Bus service to Paphos, Airport & Coral Bay. Taxis are plentiful. Airport shuttles via mini-bus are available via Google. Quads & m/cycle Hire nearby. The centre of the town of Paphos is approximately 20 minutes or 10 miles away. This has all the amenities of a large provincial town & port. Polis/Laatchi approx 15 miles. Troodos mountains approx 45 miles. Limassol approx 40 miles. Larnaca approx 65 miles. Nicosia approx 75 miles. Kyrenia about 85 miles.

Further Details:

Cypus is a large island in the eastern mediterranean sea. Temperatures are on average much higher than most European countries, being closest to eastern Greece, Turkey and Israel. There is so much to do in Cyprus, both for active and leisure holidays! Driving is the same side of the road as in UK, and English 3-pin plugs are standard.

Winter temperatures are usually around 15 deg C at worst around the coast, and down to -5 deg C in the mountains. Peak winter temperatures and spring and autumn averages are usually around 20-25 deg C. Peak summertime temperatures range between 30 - 40 deg C and low forties are not unknown. In the mountains summer temperatures rise to low/mid 20's. The island has been part of most major empires across history, and has a huge wealth of treasures from many of them for modern visitors to enjoy. Southern Cypus has a modern culture combining Greecian and British influence having gained independance in 1960. Many people speak English and the Eglish are well-liked, although visitors come from many countries world-wide. In Cyprus, driving is on the left, as in the UK. The currency is the Euro. Peyia is a large village just North of Paphos, a major provincial city. The village is based around a traditional village square. This has a Church, town Hall, and 2 supermarkets. In streets adjacent to the square are approximately 10 bars and restaurants. One of these is an excellent Meze restaurant less than 10 minutes walk away. Here you can enjoy an authentic Cypriot feast of a meal at a very reasonable price. Also in the village are at least 2 butchers and 4 bakeries plus other shops and services and a bank. The apartment is approx 0.5 miles or 10 minutes walk from the village centre.

Changeover Day:

We have low season availability and will offer attractive prices especially for longer lets. (Check 'availability') Discounts given for 2 weeks plus, or for rental of both units together. Both apartments are tastefully furnished with co-ordinating soft furnishings, Catherine Lansdowne bedding, Christy towels, Panasonic Hi-fi, Wi-Fi, Sharp Arquos w/s 32" TVs, DVD and satelite players & D/washers. The 2-bed has a W/machine will suit families / 2 couples. The studio suits couples, but highchair/cot can be provided on request at either apartment. Both apartments are built & fitted to a high standard with marble flooring, granite worktops, wooden fitments, black-out blinds, fully tiled bathrooms with baths & shower fitments. Apartments are fully equipped incl all bedding, towels, beach towels & linen, and are professionally cleaned prior to each let by our agents on-site who will deal with any problems or extra services requested. Change of bedding is included for all lets of 2 or more weeks. Outside: This is a small 5 start resort with indoor heated & large outdoor pool plus plunge-pool. Indoor Jacuzzi bath, shaded area, changing rooms, sauna and gym & landscaped gardens. Pretty Peyia has a Bus service to Paphos Airport, 2 supermarkets, (1 is 7/7, 0700 to 2100 hrs). The village (10 mins) has bars, good restaurants & a take-away with full delivery service & choice of 2 butchers, 4 bakeries and 3 banks. Weddings can be arranged In Peyia and Paphos. The indoor leisure complex facilities at this resort make it ideal for either escaping the summer sun or exercising in the warmth during the cool winter months. Skiing & winter sports is available at Troodos approx 1 hr 15 mins away. The local area has full water sports, Golf, quad-bike and jeep safaris, Horse-riding, walking, zoo, water-park, archaeological attractions, museums, theatres, outdoor and indoor concerts, bars restaurants and taverners in villages, towns and countryside, Akamos Nature Reserve and more.

It was lovely!

As a third time visitor to Kevin and Julie's apartment, we knew what to expect and again we weren't disappointed. It was well presented, clean and tidy plus now it had streamed TV too. Everything that is needed for the stay was there, ie towels, sheets, white goods, plates and crockery. All we needed to supply was any food or drink to our own requirements plus plenty of sun screen! Thanks again! We'll be back soon !!

Lovely location and apartment

Apartment was immaculate perfect location to be with friends had an issue with the air conditioning which was addressed but still not as cool as would like it.
