Top apartment in Xlendi Bay a minute away from sandy beach is in the centre of Xlendi and quiet. From the balcony you can see everyday routine while having breakfast of a glass of wine. It's important too that there is no building opposite the apartment and you will see from the left the valley and from the right the sandy beach. You will see fishermen coming with their boats and much more.
The island of Gozo offers the traveller much to explore and discover that range from prehistoric temples to historical events and have made Gozo what it is today. You can also go diving there is professional diving centres near by that teaches from beginners also they take you in caves and explore under the sea.
The point in few worlds everyone that visit my apartment was very satisfied and I was too because for me the most important think that they had enjoyed themselves after paying the money and that makes me feel very happy and satisfied that I did the best that their dream to visit Xlendi came true.
Very important: this property is fully approved and licenced by the Malta tour
This property is situated in the centre of Xlendi on the second floor and top because there is no building on it. it looks to the main square and there is no building opposite where one can see each other from the balcony or windows. Important the building is build on street levels no hills. The ATM and Bus Station is opposite. To go to the sandy beach restaurants and shops etc will take few minutes. Divers nearby for those interested in diving and much more. I can say you have the whole pack that you will need for a satisfied holiday and a dream that comes true.
We had the most brilliant time in Xlendi and the owner really looked after us and made sure that we had everything we needed. The apartment is in a fantastic location and you can easily access everywhere in the island.
The apartment is just as it looks in the pictures. It's fantastic because it's central and there is no building opposite. There is a big main square of Xlendi.
We were over for a wedding so didn't have much spare time but would recommend the Indian food down the road and there is good bars and restaurants which you can see the bay. But overall Xlendi has great food and the people are so friendly, for sure we will come back.
Wanted to visit Xlendi for a long time and finally it was my 60th birthday this year and I realised my dream accompanied by my daughter. Apartment is ideal with everything you need provided for and a great location too. Very clean, homely and well maintained. Maria and her husband made us feel very welcome and were so helpful. We arrived quite late Saturday evening but were met at the ferry and when we arrived Maria had left sandwiches, milk, cereal and also a welcome bottle of red wine. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again. Thanks Maria.
We have stayed 4 days in Xlendi and suppose it's the most beautiful place in Gozo! The nice apartment was a part of the good impression. Thanks for Maria!
Xlendi: What a delightful little place. We went for a week mid November and we had really nice weather, went in the sea 5 days of our visit. We had one day when the weather changed day before we left, it was very stormy over night and cloudy (but dry) the next day. Xlendi is ideal for lovely coastal walks along that part of the cost and overlooking the cliffs. It's well located to get around via the hourly bus service to Victoria where you can get a bus to anywhere in the island for 1.50 Euros. There is only one small shop in Xlendi so for big shop you need to catch bus to Victoria. Alternatively, you could get a bus to nearby village of Munxar which has a good sized local shop with everything.
Xlendi is a nice relaxed little village with quite a few cafes / resaturants (but not too many) to get snacks and nice meals. As we were there in the autumn season it was quiet. I guess that in the peak season it will be very different. Up on the hill and around the other side of the bay, there are lots of recently built partments, which were deserted, but summer is gonna be busy so I suggest if you like it very quiet, visit in October and November.
The Apartment: It's a lovely, comfortable apartment, quirky and simple, but it really has everything you need for your stay. The house is open plan, a small adaquate kitchen, and two bedroom areas seperated by a wall but not entirely enclosed. It was actually nice to have two different areas to sleep in yet still talk to each other. If one of you wants to watch the TV in one area and the other wants to sleep, then it could be an issue for a light sleeper. Though to be honest, we hardly watched the TV as there wasn't a great choice of TV channels. Nice balcony
Maria picked us up from the Ferry port for free which was really useful and they took us back for Euros 10. We also had a welcome pack of some milk, wine, fruit and even a couple of sandwhiches which were really welcome after our day travel from UK.
Only other points for the owners is they need a new tin opener as I had to open tins with a pointed knife, and the water pressure is quite slow so if you need a power shower, you may have a problem. Having said that we managed ok.
TIPS: You can get a X1 bus from Malta airport to the ferry port for Euros 1.5 which takes 1h 15. Make sure you visit the Citadel in Victoria - though it was under restoration work when we where there it is going to look fantastic when finished. Visit Azure Window by bus or 3 hour walk.
I've stayed in Xlendi before but this was my first time in this apartment. We were met at the ferry and Maria had left sandwiches, milk and a bottle of wine to start us off! Nice touch! The apartment was clean and very well equipped with everything you would need. There was plenty of kitchen equipment and lots of towels. There was 2 single beds and also a double bed - no bedrooms as such so would suit a family with children . No air con but there was lots of fans and there was mosquito shield on the windows. My favourite time was sitting on the small sunny balcony with a cup of tea watching all the goings on below me. Apartment is very central with a good view of the sea front and close to the bus stop and there is lots of restaurants to choose from. Maria was very helpful during our stay and i hope to return again next year and would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to get away from the hotel environment and experience local living.
Like in the center of Xlendi. Top located. (Only) Ventilators in the apart. No air condition. Can get hot inside. Kitchen facility is okay. Bathroom small but alright. Overall satisfied.
This is my second visit to this property and I love everything about it. The location is excellent with a great view of the sea and the square and the hosts are so hospitable, nothing is too much trouble. We were collected at the ferry and taken to the apartment and taken back to the ferry when it was time to leave even though it was early morning. It is very comfortable, traditional style and everything you need is there. Everything in Xlendi is witin easy walking distance too. I highly recommend a stay here.
