Beautiful modern house with private garden, ideal for short break or extended stay. Abbey Wood Railway Station is a 5-6minute drive away, or a short ride by frequent bus services. Modern trains operated by South Eastern reach Greenwich, London Bridge and Waterloo East and London Charing Cross (Trafalgar Square), providing access to the London Underground and the West End. There are frequent Dockland Light Railway (DLR) train services to Stratford (home of the 2012 Olympics) departing from Woolwich Arsenal Station, a short ride away by bus or train.

About The Owner

I work in Central London and have lived in the area for the past 15 years and live locally, just a few minutes walk away. Always happy to assist to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Why The Owner chose England

I love the open spaces and leafy surroundings, and how the house backs onto a protected nature reservation, with a nearby pond. The proximity to London and Kent, "the garden of England" has also been a draw. Travel is convenient whether using a car or public transport. The house was built in about 1989, by Declan Kelly Homes, and is well insulated and warm.

What makes this house unique

Comfortable living room, perfect for family or friends. Tranquil protected Woodland outlook to the rear, ideal for enjoying the garden.

Clean and comfortable

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely house during a family sightseeing visit to London. There was plenty of room for our young family of 5 and the house was clean, well furnished and equipped making our stay both pleasant and comfortable.

A very short walk to the bus and a 5 minute ride to Abbey Wood train station meant we could soon be in the centre of London and its sights.

The owner was very polite and helpful.

Car hire is not essential, but recommended for visiting Kent. Bus stop 2-3 minutes away served by N1 and 472 Night Buses. The house is in Transport for London's Zone 4.
