Modern Farmhouse in Winterbourne, Nr. Bristol and Bath, England - Rural Private Location - Perfect for visting Bristol, Bath and the Cotswolds

Set within 8 acres of private grounds with a long driveway off a country lane, part of a small holding farm used for grazing of freshly calved cattle. The farmhouse is surrounded by fields and is completely separate from the farmyard. It has a south facing, private, fenced garden. The farmhouse is fully furnished, all large bedrooms with plenty of space (not over crowded with too many beds to make up numbers. Room sizes are detailed below). The farmhouse is perfect for large families or groups of friends wanting to stay away together. Unfortunately we can not accept all male groups. Easy access to the historic cities of Bristol and Bath. Avon cycle way minutes away. Ample parking for 6 vehicles. 3 pubs within walking distance, 2 of which do excellent food.

The place is fantastic,everything and more than we could have asked for.Totally separate from the farm, We shopped until we dropped in Bristol and Bath.

I have stayed in many places across Europe and have to say this was the most well-equipped and welcoming place ever. Clare made sure we were happy with everything and was on hand if there were any probs. I would absolutely recommend BH Farm to large groups wanting somewhere to chill out or explore the surrounding area or both,as we did!

We have had a lovely week at the farm. The cottage is well equipped and just like home from home. We were invited to watch the sheep being sheared and to meet the farm animals and Clare and her family were very welcoming. Our 19 month old daughter became friends with the cows, or the moos ad they were known to her, and she is still asking for them now!! Thank-you for a lovely relaxing holiday!

Perfect for a group getaway!

I stayed here over the weekend as a group of 9 friends. It was perfect! We were after a weekend get together in a location convenient for everyone and we got exactly that. Located just off the motorway so easily accessible but surrounded by countryside gives it a real peaceful feel! The owners house is right next door if you have any problems or questions but you have your own privacy with a separate entrance and space for cars.

Plenty of room for a large group and didn't feel on top of each other. Enough facilities for everyone - including cooking etc. Beds really comfy and everything catered for our needs entirely! Loved it.

Hen do weekend

Such a lovely, clean, well stocked farm house! Had everything we could have needed and more, feels like a home from a home! Great location and very laid back owner. Thank you for making my sisters hen do such a success!

I arrived at the property and was very impressed it was a lovely clean and spacious cottage. The decor was perfect with bunting and fairy lights everywhere made it look really pretty and homely perfect for a hen do. Nice big kitchen with amazing storage including a larder room with a large fridge a freezer a dishwasher basically everything you need. The main room for the hen was lovely with our own en suite and the other rooms were nicely made up and spacious. I would highly recommend this property for any large groups or family wanting a get together. It was close to Bristol perfect for our night out and a 5 minute walk to a lovely pub called The Willy Wicket where we ate. The owner was very helpful and polite and let us stay later on the Sunday before we needed to leave. Definitely 5 stars *****

Spacious, relaxed home from home in good location

Really lovely property set on farm - we had a great stay there (group of girls on a hen do). The house itself is very spacious and we were made to feel very comfortable. Great amenities and lovely big patio/garden area. We also hired a hot tub there and Clare was very helpful with this and the whole booking. Thankyou so much, we would highly recommend and book again.

Great weekend break, would recommend

We stayed 2 nights for a family weekend away in January. Claire was the perfect host and the booking process was very straightforward. She also helped with some tips for places to eat and drink which was great.

We all loved the cottage - easy to get to, and nice and warm. It's quite near the M4 which is great from an access point of view, but you can hear the traffic noise which could be an issue in the summer (although not for us in winter as we were inside and the insulation is really good).

Also worth noting that bath towels aren't provided - would be good if this service was offered though.

Overall, a great stay and great value too - would certainly recommend
