Casa Pedro is a beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bathroom duplex townhouse with a communal swimming pool within a walking distance from the town centre. On the main ground level there is a kitchen and a spacious living/dining area opening to a large terrace (a table and chairs) with spectacular sea views. The two bedrooms (1 en-suite) and a second bathroom are on the lower level. Both bedrooms have small balconies looking out in the garden. There is also an additional roof terrace with marvellous views. The property is secured with shutters and an alarm. Wi-fi internet access. Off-road parking.
I am a retired entrepreneur from Finland. Our family spends most of the year in Finland, but visits often Carvoeiro to extend the short Finnish summer. Portugal has become another home.
The Algarve drew me back after I spent a marvellous holiday there. Captivated by the region's natural beauty and way of life, Carvoeiro's charm and the sea view from the balcony of Casa Pedro made the decision to purchase quick and easy. Everything you need can be found in the village and its location at the centre of the Algarve coast offers good connections in all directions. Faro airport is just a short 60 km drive.
The house called Casa Pedro is just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village and its delightful beach.
Numerous shops, restaurants, the post office, a bank and a pharmacy are even nearer. Golf courses, tennis courts and Slide and Splash water park for children are close at hand. The house has three storeys, including a roof terrace and as the bedrooms with small balconies are located on the lowest floor, they can offer an escape from the heat of the summer sun. Flowers in the garden bloom throughout the year.
The photos accurately show the property, although the view is much more breathtaking in real life.
Sam is really helpful with the booking and Magdalena the cleaner is lovely and keeps the house in good shape.
The town is gorgeous and has enough in to keep you busy, plus there are many more attractions and gorgeous coastline nearby. Highly recommend taking a walk up past the church and along the coast path to the bar set into the rocks and also taking a trip along the coast to see the amazing coastline. We still have much more to explore and will definitely return.
We ate in several restaurants that ranked highly on Trip Advisor, such as La Cro, which totally lived up to their great reviews.
Would definitely recommend this to friends/family and will be coming back.
My second time at lovely Casa Pedro and still a little gem. Everything you could wish for in a home from home plus stunning views. Magdelena keeps the place spotless and Sam on hand if needed. Do hope I can return again soon.
The photos on this site don't do the apartment justice, it's is very clean and airy, and spacious. We arrived around 11:30am, Sam the property manager arranged to meet us at the apartment so we could leave our luggage as the cleaners were in. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine, a washing line on roof and airer on balcony. The main balcony is spacious and equipped with a BBQ,(coal can be purchased in town) air conditioning down in the bedrooms was fab as very hot on our stay. The walk into town is all down hill or steps, which means a climb back up, in total from the street 175 steps, so I would bare this in mind or get a taxi from the main square (we walked them so unsure how much a taxi would be). We hired a car for 3 days visited lots of beaches, recommend car hire from Easy Go travel agents nr beach very helpful, much cheaper than the car hire places. The Big supermarkets 10mins drive from apartment inc Aldi.... or smaller but well equipped ones in town....The swimming pool is very clean and open from 7:30am - 10pm. Plenty of restaurants and bar in the town, I would recommend Happys restaurant up the road from the taxi rank. Slide and Splash waterpark a great day out. Also recommend Yellow fish transfers from airport, (see their website and book online) they were FAB.

Three lovely weeks at Casa Pedro. Became a real home from home. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay was at hand and one could never tire of the view. Lovely working fireplace and radiators to keep warm on chilly evenings and wifi for those times when some work issues intruded! Local manager Sam helpful, friendly and responsive. I would recommend Casa Pedro to my friends and family and very much suspect I shall return in the near future!
I was in Casa Pedro with my wife and 10 years old son. All was fine, the house is very comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Location just fine close to the city on high hill.
I must thank the owner of excellent information that he has produced for guests, that was extraordinary useful.
The common pool is nice and clean big area where my son and me enjoyed a lot and met nice neighbopurs.
"Personnel" was nice and helped when we needed something. I recommend this house for people who like good quality. Wifii-Internet worked well.
We found Casa Pedro homely, well equipped and maintained to high standard. The house has superb views from the terraces over the town and to the sea. The location of Casa Pedro was ideal for us being a short walk from the town centre, restaurants, shops and of course, the beach! Also for golfers there are plenty of courses to choose from within 15km radius. It was great to have wi-fi internet connection (unfortunately one had to work whilst on holiday) and there was a good selection of TV channels for those evenings when we just decided to stay in. Car is not essential but handy if you want to do a bit of sighseeing.
600m walk to the nearest beach and several others within a short drive (5-10mins).
Faro Airport 60 kilometres, driving takes 45 minutes. The drive from Lisbon takes takes two and half hours.
Village centre and all amenities within walking distance (600m). The nearest towns: Lagoa 5 kilometres, Portimao 10 kilometres.
Carvoeiro has plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, pharmacy, car hire outlets, tennis courts etc.
