Our home sleeps 8 comfortably and includes all the essentials for your comfort including bed linen, towels, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, cable TV in living room and all bedrooms and WiFi.

About Stuart Boyd

We are Stuart and Lesley and we live with our two daughters in Manchester. We first visited Florida when the girls were in primary school, fell in love with the sunshine state and were fortunate to have the opportunity to purchase our lovely home at Encantada in 2009 so we can share wonderful holidays with family and friends.

To us all it is like going to our other home town. An added bonus has been dealing with so many wonderful people and helping them enjoy a well earned holiday. We have also made some new friends along the way.

Why Stuart Boyd chose Disney / Orlando

We visited a number of locations before deciding to buy our holiday home in Encantada.

One of the reasons why we decided on Encantada was its location; ideally located just off H192. It is near enough to the parks to be able to return home in the afternoon when the parks are at their busiest, to relax by the lake or the pool and then return to the parks with your batteries fully re-charged later in the day for more fun and fireworks. It is also close to shops and other amenities.

Encantada is a safe, very well kept, gated Community. The grounds are lovely with a lake, a children’s play area, club house and a large shared pool. There are also several golf courses and fishing in a number of lakes nearby.

What makes this house unique

Our holiday home is a spacious three bedroom townhouse that is suitable for couples, families or groups of friends. Our home is furnished to a high standard, with free wifi.

Following your day at the parks it's nice to know that at any time the journey back to Encantada is only a few minutes. There is an array of superb restaurants to fit all budgets minutes away, or if you prefer to cook at the villa using the fully equipped kitchen, the shops are close by.

The on-site management team, manage our property for us. This is another benefit to our guests as the staff are on hand to help.

We also spend time exploring away from the crowds. The coast is easy access an hour away, with fabulous beaches, wildlife and surfing.

in your house. One day, my seven-year-old son was talking to his

home?" - and my son said: "I am at home". :)

That's the way we felt there - at home.

very comfortable property in a great location

The Encantada resort has excellent facilities and is in a lovely location. The property we stayed in was really comfortable and had the added bonus of a small private pool. Stuart was really helpful and the booking and check in could not be faulted. I would definitely recommend.

The bar in the club house was a nice touch and the meals were good value for money. Being close to the Disney parks made the location ideal.

Like home

We had a wonderful time in this house.

The house is great, and Encantada is a well-equipped condo with good pools and activities for children and also for adults such as yoga classes and walks. The staff of Encantada Emanagement is very kind. They helped us promptly with everything we need. I strongly recommend this house.

lazy week

We wanted somewhere central that could offer access to the parks but also good facilities for just relaxing.The house was well presented and equipped. We found it very comfortable for the two of us and would recommend it without any reservations at all.The main pool area was big enough ,with a couple of pools and two spa pools ,to always find a quiet spot looking over the lake to enjoy the sun. We enjoyed regular strolls around the lake,it was good to have somewhere to walk away from the traffic.

"Magic" in Florida

Having stayed at this Resort (different house) before it did not let us down second time around. Since first contact to Owner's communication was second to none. We were furnished with all possible information we required. The property was clean, well maintained and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. The property is ideally situated for North, South, East and West especially if you are looking for great golf courses. If you are not playing golf there is still an abundance of activities and attractions. A visit to Gaylord Palm Hotel is well worth a visit. Expensive to park, 18 dollars, but buy from the shops/restaurants and get your parking ticket stamped and you get your parking free! You are spoilt for choice as regards restaurants. The best steakhouse is Longhorns and for pasta it must be The Olive Garden. It is recommended to try Millers Ale House. Eating out can be as cheap or expensive as your budget allows but you will be treated well whatever you decide. The area is a shoppers paradise with great Malls. The roads in the area are made to "drive" on and even if you get lost or miss your exit it only takes to the next turn to sort things out. People are extremely friendly and I always felt safe.

Coast/Beach:

Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral and Daytona Beach on the Atlantic Coast are approximately 50 minutes away by car. On the west coast about 1 hour's drive are several beautiful beaches including Clearwater and St Petes. The Marina at Sarasota is a must for boat lovers and anyone wanting to try deep sea fishing.

Travel:

The resort is 20 minutes away from Orlando International Airport and 45 minutes away from Orlando Sanford Airport. Car hire is recommended to take advantage of all Central Florida has to offer. The road network is easy to navigate and well signed. Maps are freely available and the GPS can be hired from the resort for an extra charge.

Distances:

3½ miles to Disney World - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon.

10 minutes drive to Sea World and Aquatica.

20 minutes drive to Universal Studios, Wet n Wild, and International Drive.

20 minutes drive from Mall of Millenia, Florida Mall, Prime Outlet.

Celebration and Kissimmee old town are close by and well worth a visit.

Further Details:

Encantada is just off the US 192 where there are 100s of shops and restaurant. There is a 7/11 store with petrol, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Bruno's Italian and Houlihans bar and restaurant just a 10 minute walk from the house, plus numerous gift shops. There is a Super Target just 2 minutes drive away and Walmart is a 5 minute drive away.

many of the local shops have ATM machines inside and Walmart have bank branches inside them. Tickets for many of the attractions are sold everywhere and many discount vouchers can be picked up locally including the Encantada clubhouse.
